Thank you for sharing. Chuck Cook did have a problem with the system focussing on the parking and not sensing other vehicles moving in the immediate vasinity
The "blobs" you see are the high-fidelity park assist part, that view with the ability to move around exists in AMD cars even with basic autopilot. The reason you can see, but can't rotate, is because of Intel's graphics processing power limitation.
This should be very helpful at superchagers.
On a recent road trip on Old Highway 66, I used Autopark to back into Superchargers every time, and it never failed to park perfectly.

I’m so happy you made this video! I now have confirmation that my 2018 M3 will be getting this more advanced multi-spot parking system! It may not have all the graphics capabilities of the AMD models, but it’s definitely enough for me.
I'm happy if they can include it in 2d only. The lane markings are so useful for nose-in parking 👍
I wish there was a viable way to update our processors.

I love autopark on my 2023 MY with just cameras. Does an amazing job and faster than other systems I have seen.

Just got 12.3.6 on my 2021 YLR and love the new autopark
It actually makes sense to let it always reverse to park so that it will one day park in FSD at chargers.
But reverse parking is slow, which can irritate other people in a crowded parking lot.
No one will follow the car to the actual parking space, but rather get out in front of the store, or whatever, and the vehicle will go park (or take other passengers) by itself. e@@DerekDavis213

@@DerekDavis213 And in some places you are not allowed to reverse in. And then you also have angled parking spots, that it still can not handle.

Much better than how my Audi does it. Works well when there is one open space does poorly when there are several in a row.
Go into one of those parking lots and try testing with different obstacles (ie boxes) to see how it visualizes them while parking and how it navgates around them. Basically its your obstacle test but with autopark
I can scroll through the spots and highlight them at will. Try it.

I’m thinking the Intel cars are showing a 2d texture while the ryzen cars are using path traced volumes that require GPU features the Intel doesn’t have.

Just updated my old ('19) model 3 to 12.3.4. I guess I gotta wait a bit for it to release? I'm on v2024.3.15. Looking forward to having this.

@1:39 you basically say, there is NO park assist on Atom? Only this "low-def" (but well-working) AutoPark (and, that needs FSD correct?) sigh...
Not worth losing radar, to get green light chimes. I probably won't get FSD and no more EAP, so Atom not really worth HW3 then?
The park assist toggle is not available in the older Atom cars. Park Assist is available, it’s just not “Vision only” capable on the screen, in the car. The vehicle still operates identically to the newer cars in its functionality, so it’s not such a huge drawback IMO.

Hello and thanks for your video, i am new to Tesla and FSD, got my X few days back and i cant pass version 11, and it says your car is up to date, both car and FSD version are on 11.X.X, Any clue how to get version 12 ?
For new Teslas, it often takes weeks before you start getting updates. Patience...
I know this is supposed to be on USS cars but model S and X often get skipped or comes out late. Any Idea if/when we're going to get it?
At this point those cars are camera only. in 12.3.3.1 camera cars got this beta. Since it relies on cameras im sure the S and X will get it as long as you have hw 3 at least.

Im really feeling left out with my 223 model x. I should have gotten an older version. I cant even summon on my v11 fsd. Ridiculous!

Having a 2019 M3 with sonar like you I am wondering when the sonar sensors will be disabled. Putting a wet sheet of paper in front of them indicates they are still in use as a spray a mist from the clicks. Very sad to know this...I have same M3 2019 and I would have expected that Tesla differentiates or reward first drivers at least with same options...If we could at least pay for new cameras...I guess this is the beginning of the end about have "old" car but always was as a new... ;( [Sad]
Always love how it is full self driving until it crashes, then you blame the driver for thinking a car can be full self driving and trusting the car in the first place. 😂😂

I own a 2023 BMW and a 2025 Audi. Will FSD Supervised come to my top of the notch Cars? I mean your Car is ultra very hyper prehistoric old.
Tesla is going to license the technology to other OEMs. But I don't think your current vehicles are "wired and equipped" for it. Tesla did this to all of its car and pretty much prepared for future capabilities.
