The new hunter strand melee is my favorite, it's perfect for cleaning up kills whether that be just ending a duel quickly or if they are running away. The minigame of catching it for extra energy also just makes it feel really fun.

Dude, pro players use grapple rather then suspend grenade.. mobility is KING. & grapple makes you juke enemies so much, like shooting in the air then they come around the corner & you falling down on top of them.. or to quickly escape or to get on top of a group of enemy’s and ensnare slam.. grapple deff king & meta.. suspend grenades only if you wanna specifically suspend targets

Don’t play with a high DPI for starters. I didn’t believe it at first, but having too high a dpi messes up your aim and muscle memory. 400 or 800 is great. Try to aim with your whole arm. That means shoulder, elbow, wrist, fingers. The better you get at that, the more control you have. Play other types of shooters. It helps your fundamentals, and it definitely helps even more when you know how to “feel” your sense. Try to figure out your cm/360.
Let's not forget that the "one-shot" melee has insane and unreal tracking... Oh and Titans can use it as a dodge without any cooldown as well... Also has more range and speed than any Hunter dodge... Just give me Bakris Dodge as a default Hunter Dodge on all subclasses. Remove the gimmicks like the 10 second bonus cooldown and the Arc damage bonus thingy, give it the same cooldown as Marksman's Dodge and there you go! I don't care about my dodge having utilities like Auto-Reload or Melee Recharge. Gimme something with range and speed that I can ACTUALLY evade stuff with.
I would say titan. A much much better super and an easy way to suspend aswell. If we are talking in terms of PvP, in PVE Hunter is actually the worst in GM lvl content, because you have to dive into the enemies, while the other 2 classes dont have to do that.

It adds a support build for strand hunters imo that's what I use it for in a heavily crowded environment and to get out of dodgy situations as well. But that's just me 😀
U 100% should be able to ADS while suspended and it shouldn't put u in 3rd person. Sever probs need to be tuned down a bit. Shouldn't last as long and the amount of damage u lose might be a bit too much. Threadlings could probs use a buff (haven't used them since new frags so maybe not idk). Grapple needs its cooldown cut in half. Melees for Warlock and Titan probs should have their cooldowns slightly reduced. Warlocks melee probs needs to be buffed in some way. Maybe more tracking or something idk.
The warlock melee is honestly one of the best abilities right now. Most subclasses have a main idea of what they should do, and a sort of side idea. With warlock strand the main is threadlings, and the side is debuffing, and the melee does that very well. One melee activates unravel on an enemy, and if that enemy takes damager the unravel others near them. Paired with necrotic grips it can demolish rooms and chip away enemies at like 40 below in the legend lost sector. I did it solo flawless at 1790 so I could get the extra loadout slots and it works super well. plus the range on them is insane and keeps you out of harms way. The cooldown does suck, but it wouldnt be that bad if they fixed the melee kickstart.
Watching this makes me so sad. For a good while now it's just been so hard to play pvp if your goal is to get better or do something meaningful you can take ownership of. There were already too many instances of being beaten not because you did anything wrong or because the enemy was better, but because of lag or something broken or otherwise generally being checkmated. And bungie is just doubling down on that. It makes it so hard to care.
Yah strand is really not that good in pvp it is fun but it isn’t broken or meta defining, I agree with you that other things in the game can be out of you control and are really cheesy but strand is not that and won’t really be seen at the higher end of pvp play so I’m not sure what you are seeing warrants a complaint

Been running Threads of Generation, it makes a pretty large difference in uptime. Helps a lot even if you're not running Grenade Kickstart mods.
