I also liked the consept of why this is a villain story since I have sensative hearing(obviously not as good as Dolores) and it often feels like a curse, but there is ways to control it without earplugs so it also makes sense how she could hold out so long. Also very funny detail is that people like me often become dependented on sound without it we feel more nervous but it has to be soft to not bother us.
Luisa i think her awakened ability would be able to numb her thoughts. So she'd be able to lift anything without feeling anything but also not be able to mentally FEEL anything either (which would fix her issue of pressure but would also feel like a curse as to even it out). That or she just can never feel pressure like she's forced to not let anything bother her
Isabella i think hers was already kinda awakened- she has the ability to make vines and plants but can also make dangerous plant life that can be weponised or perhaps decay. Like she has the ability to kill plants as well?
The animal awakening could be that hes able to idk maybe get parts of animals (like replace his hands with wolf paws or legs with goat legs or gain like a tigers muzzle).
Weather: maybe she could either a) just at will summon whatever weather she wants ignoring her mood or b) her weather mood can only affect those which caused it (like anger or sadness).
(I have no clue for the shapeshifting since it seems he cant control it and i have no clue for the healing food- that just seems like it has no negatives 😂)
What if shape shifting awakened is shifting other people

I think the way with how Dolores's ability was because She can hear everything she lashes out by making everyone quiet.
Luisa feels that she carries all the burdens of everyone around her. Were she to lash out It would be returning their burdens to them (probably 10 fold) so she would make everyone feel as though they had an immense crushing weight on their shoulders, all the burden's that they wrote of by giving them to Luisa now returned to them.

Maybe she could crush someone's hand while giving them a hand-shake, so making the skin of that hand dencer to balence it out would help. And if evil, yeh, put extra weight on people's shoulders
Healing food could maybe steal others health and give it to them
I remembering seeing this one comment that said Dolores probably heard Camilo and Antonio being conceived, so I can definitely see her just being done with everything

@@phoniexash6096 not sure how to explain it, but it's a disorder that makes our hearing sense more sensitive, and normal noises like water drops, people chewing, fingers tapping, etc, can be unbearable, causing us feelings like anger, irritation, and anxiety, we often need earplugs. And it causes us to be more aggresive or very angry with the person making those sounds, believe me, It's hell

My ideas for awakened powers:
Luisa: Invulnerability--Adding onto her super strength, she's now more durable and unable to be hurt. She'll never tire, never waver, and always ready to go.
Isabela: Chlorokinesis (plant control)--Whereas her power allows her to create plants, this awakened ability would give her the power to control existing plants and even plant-like structures. She essentially becomes Poison Ivy from Batman, with the power to control every aspect of plants, from carnivorous flytraps to mind-controlling spores.
Pepa: Aerokinesis (control of wind)--Compounding on her ability to generate storms, Pepa gains the power to manipulate the very air itself. She essentially becomes Storm from the X-Men, able to control the air and everything in it--generating lightning, summoning tornados, even ripping the air out of someone's lungs.
Bruno: Controlling the future/tychokinesis (luck control)--The logical next step from seeing the future is controlling it. Bruno gains the ability to manipulate probability to make whichever future he wants happen. He becomes the decider of fate; if he wants something to happen, it *will* happen.
Camilo: Complete shapeshifting--Right now, Camilla can only turn into other people, but with this awakened power, he can turn into anything--animals, objects, even states of matter. Giving him complete control of his molecular structure also allows him to partially shapeshift, like turning his arm into a sword or his skin to metal. He turns into the ultimate Swiss Army knife, able to become anything.
Julieta: Poison--Julietta's awakened power allows her not only to heal people with her food, but harm them as well. Any dish she makes can contain an untraceable toxin more deadly than cyanide; it can't be seen, smelled, tasted, or anything. But it might be there. You won't know until you take a bite...
Antonio: telepathy/mind control--Antonio, once his power is fully awakened, cannot only talk to animals, but control them, overriding their will and making them his slaves. But remember, people are animals too, so Antonio is now able to make anyone do whatever he wants.
Hello fellow full prompt completer! I just want to say that I loved your ideas and wish I had tbough of some of them myself! Poison was RIGHT THERE and I still didn't think of it, invulnerability for Luisa makes perfect sense considering the superstrength & invulnerability combo, PEPA CONTROLLING WIND TO THE POINT OF TAKING IT OUT OF PEOPLE'S LUNGS DHGJSJF THAT'S SO SMART, Antonio having control over HUMANS as well... You really came up with so many good ideas and I really enjoyed seeing where my ideas went on the same track as yours!

I think with Dolores' awakened ability? Is that she has the ability to control the volume of sounds with her hearing. She's silencing them by lowering down their voices and even managing to push back Luisa with a strong sound wave.

Already by Lydia, but basically the ability to nullify any sound, but if I were to be more specific, the ability makes the air around her almost into a sound vacuum like space, making anywhere she goes completely silent, regardless if it’s coming from a person or the environment, with the only exception being her voice being able to travel over it.
(And for the rest of these, I’m just going to be designing these based off of either observed insecurities from the movie, or insecurities I guessed could be a thing based off the concept of their gift.)

Her gift makes her insanely strong, essentially forcing the job of work horse onto her shoulders. So if her powers reawakened based off these struggles, I could see her ability transforming into power of weakness. She is able to make anyone, or in this case, *anything* significantly weaker, making it so she doesn’t have to do everything, instead making it so everyone else is just as capable of doing the things they would normally want her to do.

Now going off the assumption Lydia’s other videos on Isa didn’t exist, I would say that her reawakened ability would be desaturation, or specifically making everyone around her’s vision desaturated, essentially making them colorblind and in the process, neutralizing her role in the family making everything beautiful, as now everything becomes the same or at the very least, extremely dull. As such, making her as well as anything else no longer stand out because as we learned, she hates the expectations and attention that comes from her gift.

Now In the movie at least from what I can tell, I never really saw any real issues he dealt with, so I’m just gonna go off the idea that as the years drag on of being the comedic relief or entertainment with his shapeshifting, I think his issue would be similar to Isabella with not wanting everyone’s attention solely on him because being a big joke is all he ever was. So I’m thinking that instead of being funny, his gift would change into forcing people to be physically happy or laughing, even if it’s against their will, as maybe he’s tired of being a joke and just wants to *make them* laugh instead. Again a little on the nose but didn’t have a ton for him.

Now Lydia actually took my original idea of essentially just nullifying everyone’s gifts because she was bitter about everyone mistreating her due to her lack of one, so I’m going somewhere else. Essentially she’d have the opposite of Camillo’s as she’s spent her whole life trying to be a peace maker and wanting everyone to be happy, but all she got in response was mistreatment, so now she’s awakened her gift of making everyone around her miserable, forcing them to lash out at eachother instead of focusing their attention on her. Dunno, wanted to try something but lemme know whatcha think.
And now the final kid…

Now considering he is a little kid and we don’t get a ton from him, I’m thinking we take it in a slightly more wholesome direction. After he gets his gift, he obtains the ability to communicate with and befriend animals, but even when they try to help like when he asked them to keep Abuela’s seat warm for her, she dismisses them and treats them as a nuisance because she doesn’t understand them like he does. So I’m thinking his gift would evolve not only understanding the animals, but giving all the animals he meets their own voice to express their discomfort and distress with how the village treats them, because Antonio wants everyone to respect the animals just like they would eachother.
Now onto the Adults…firstly…
*Bruno*
After so many years of living in the walls with the rats after being thrown away because of the predictions he makes, his bitterness towards himself and his gift cause it to change…just like the futures he sees. His gift no longer just allows him to see the future of an individual, now as he gazes upon someone’s future he sees it vanish and contort as everytime he sees someone’s future, it is doomed to erase and change now only leaving them with the knowledge of the future they lost, but doesn’t tell them how it changed and what will be different, forcing them to live with constant unease not knowing what is coming, and regret knowing exactly what they lost in the process of trying to find out.

Now this might be a little out of character but stay with me. I’m thinking that after so many years of healing everyone and just seeing them get hurt over and over again from doing dumb things, she’s in pain because she doesn’t like seeing them get hurt. So her gift changes, as the next time someone comes over and she heals them, she gives them a little *advice* letting them know not to do that again, or be careful around this or that, and low and behold, they do, and they stop getting hurt so much because her food helped her *persuade them* to not do anything stupid. They listen to her and stay safe.
And finally…

Tia Peppa is an extremely emotional women. Everyone in the area is well aware of this as her wild emotions are constantly becoming their problem, as anytime she’s a little annoyed, the wind goes wild, and suddenly the living room is soaked with rain, but they don’t know what it’s like! Having to constantly have complete control over how you feel or else knowing you’ll be a massive pain for everyone around, they don’t know! Until…her gift reawakens…suddenly anytime she is upset, everytime she gets nervous, everyone around her cares, because they begin feeling everything she does. Her gift spreads everything she feels through everyone else, they finally understand how she feels, and they finally give her the care and attention that only Felix or Camilo would give her before when she was upset.

Immediate thought with the Super Strength sibling: She has the ability to not only lift incredibly heavy objects, because of her "Under Pressure" song, I figured she would Awaken an ability to make objects in her hands seem weightless until they leave her hand. So it's easy to lift and hurl with full strength if she intended to do so.

Not sure about the others but an Awakened ability for Julieta:
As we all know her gift is to heal others with the food she cooks. In the movie her general personality is that of wanting to help others, so and hear me out here. Her awakened ability is either mind control or the manipulation of other's bodies. With her food she is always there to heal the aftermath, but now she would be able to stop not only the physical probelms but the mental ones as well by forcing others to do what she thinks would help the situation.
I always imagine her being tired of always only being able to help after. But not having much influence during or before. So with this I'm imagining her being able to take control almost like a hive mind or it could only be a few people at a time depending.
This way she could have MADE her mother be nicer to Mirabel. She could make the townsfolk less reckless allowing ehr to spend more time with her daughters. She could at bare minimum influence Agustin's body to not be clumsy.
If you really played attention Dolores was the True villain of Encanto along. Think about it.
Clue 1 after Alma stopped the song The Family Madrigals, who revealed that Mirabel didn’t get a gift? Dolores.
Clue 2 Who told Mirabel to go to Lusia which brought Mirabel to Bruno’s Tower where the broken vision is? Dolores?
Clue 3 Dolores’s lines in We Don’t Talk About Bruno which were:

I am so so happy that these covers are getting the recognition they deserve!!! I have a request actually... Can you react to some of the songs from Milkyymelodies? Specifically the Isabella ones??? There's two of them and they are FANTASTIC. Just like with LydiaTheBard's, it explores what would happen if the events of the movie were different... What would happen if Isabella wound up marrying Mariano after all? What if she never had that moment with Mirabel, what if she sacrificed herself just as she'd intended to for the sake of her family? I really REALLY love the animatics and the songs and I think you will as well!!!!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, there's also gonna be a Dolores villain song soon too!!! I'm going NUTS with the anticipation!!! The songs they have now are SO powerful, and every line hits HARD. The ones that are out now are absolute MASTERPIECES. *_PLEASE give them a try!!!!!!!! You won't regret it!!!_*

Luisa's awakened power would be something like super strength but she can literally crush things/people to dust with a pinch
Isabella would be something like she can grow anything or she can rot the land it would grow on forever
Animal kiddo, he can talk to them.. and he can mind control them to turn on and attack people
Shape shifter cousin, he can shape shift but he actually becomes the person and can simply assume their life anytime he wants causing them to stop existing.
Those are just my dark guesses
Her awakened ability is the ability to control sound, as not only is she able to hear at a superhuman level, nullify sound and at the end she makes a giant shockwave that throws Luisa off her back

Ok, I love scheming powers so I'll see what I can do with your prompt:
Pepa: If her emotions control the weather, what happens when she just can't bring herself to feel anything at all anymore? No rain, no sun, no clouds, no wind, just sheer nothingness. I think after being having her emotions toyed with for so long, she would just want to stop feeling, stop giving them anything at all.
Bruno: Honestly already has a pretty powerful ability, but here we go. Future manipulation. He's Bad Luck Bruno, everyone already knows it. So maybe one day he decides its time for everyone to know what it really meant for someone to curse your future to be miserable.
Julieta: Always seeming to making for for every little cut and bruise the village gets. What if she could just... make the effect stop working? A hundred different wounds built up over time suddenly reopening, expecially since she's likely been doing this since she was FIVE.
Ok, now onto the next generation of Trama TM
Luisa: It'd be interesting for her to gain an almost parastic ability, giving her strength while draining that of others. She is so often used as just a tool by others in the movie, to the point that it starts taking a toll on both her strength and sanity. So her taking that back by force would make sense
Isabella: If she can make plants grow, nothing is stopping her from making them wither as well. Every last crop in the farm, every fruit and vegetable, down to the last blade of grass. If they can prune every barbed vine and pluck off every unwanted petal from her soul, the she can return the favor.
Camilo: Gosh this one is hard since I WANT HIS POWER SO BADLY but here's my best shot. He doesn't HAVE to shift into existing people, he doesn't have to shift into something human at all. Everyone's always wanting him to be someone else. But are they ready for when he is someTHING else entirely? He could mimic his family members' powers without even needing to turn fully into them. The possibilities are endless really.
Antonio: This one is particularly hard since he JUST got his power. Not enough trauma to work with (I'M A WRITER I SWEAR). But I think that if I had to go with anything, I would say complete control over animals instead of just communication. He has a /*%/-/% apex predator at his disposal and you're telling me he wouldn't be a MASSIVE THREAT if pissed off?

STORY (Inspired by the Mat Pat film theory)
Dolores hates her powers, she always has, but would never dare to complain or moan about the 'Miracle' they were given. Imagine, being able to hear everything anyone is saying 24/7 from the age of 5. Maybe if she'd learnt to block people out or had someone to guide her she could've managed her powers better but her family barely understand how they have powers to begin with, let alone how to control them. And so little Dolores put up with it, keeping secrets, ignoring the gossip she heard about herself, ignoring Bruno's whispers and the cracks forming in the house.
That was until she overheard a conversation and learned that the magic would fail. Though I'm not referencing the conversation you think I am, no, Dolores has known the magic would fail for a long time. She heard it when Bruno first shared his vision all those years ago. From that moment forward Dolores saw a chance at freedom and set in motion a plan to ensure Bruno's vision came true and the magic died. Finally a chance at peace.
So she bides her time, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce, all the while ignoring Bruno hidden inside the house. That moment came when Mirabel mentioned people were worried about the magic and Dolores made her first move, revealing that Luisa was weakening. From there she began sowing seeds of doubt and bitterness throughout the family. Moving next to Isabela, mentioning that Mariano wanted 5 kids, causing her to doubt her course of action in marrying him to further shake her and the family. Finally her biggest move yet, revealing the vision to everyone at dinner. Surely this would bring the magic down. Watching the chaos ensue as Mirabel ran around trying and failing miserably to fix everything. And, at long last, she got what she wanted. The house collapsed, the candle was out, the magic was finally gone and she had a moment of silence..
For the first time since she was 5 years old Dolores was excited for her future. She could finally hear herself again. Until Mirabel placed the handle on the door and her powers came flooding back. No, no, no! She'd done everything right, finally everything was as it always should've been. She wouldn't go back, couldn't go back. And in her agony a new power emerged…

I think taht Dolores's awakend power was to silence people, cuz she wanted to hear less things from people, i think the Luisa's power up would be to isolate her emotions, or to empower people around her, so they could help themselves, without needing her. Obviously not to the point where they would be stronger than her, but like half as strong as her. If somebody wants to hear more of my opinion, please reply to this coment, so I can know. Luisa I think would be like Dolores but instead of taking the voice it would be like taking their strength where they would get weaker when she makes contact and yes it's on command so she doesn't take it when hugging or something like that the one thing I can't figure out would be Bruno because the only thing I thought of was like stoping time but I don't know that seemed like a down grade
