So glad you reacted to this! I knew you'd love it lol Definitely my favorite of Lydia's villain songs, also by far my favorite animatic. The way Belle's appearance becomes more and more twisted as the song progresses is so good. Once she takes her hair down, she almost looks like she's got some wild untamed mane like Beast himself has. Others that I would definitely recommend would be Isabela, Dolores, and Anna. They're all fantastic and have some beautifully done animatics.
Belle's song is way too iconic for its own good, S class,right up there with Mulan and Merida; another good one is Moana and Aurora, Snow White's is really good too

Hey Mortius, the video is really cool and I want to tell you that I've been following you for a while and I like what you do especially the musical series. I recommend you to react Anastasia's villain song, Alice villain song and Magera’s villain songfrom Lydia the Bard because they are very well made and the backsory’s are incredibile and they also have some very interesting musical stuff that you can analyze.

By the way you need to watch Lydia's villain song for Alice in Wonder Land at some point (I think it's called I Only Paint in Red Now or something like that) it's absolutely amazing. Also fun fact, I got to see Hadestown live in September and it was amazing. Also I'm looking forward to the Vengeance saga livestream tomorrow (Which starts at 01:30 AM for me which has been especially great every since Jorge started playing the whole musical so far before the new songs, it's not like I'd get any sleep anyway), ever since I first found the musical (Some time between the Cyclops saga and the Ocean saga) the snippet for the second to last song in it has been by far my favourite (I presume you've had the name spoiled for you already seeing as you've said it a few times but just in case I won't spoil it), you definitely need to watch Morgan Clae's cover of the snippet at some point or if she does a cover of the song itself then definitely that.
OH MY GOSH I love this song and the story that goes with it so much and I never even NOTICED the mob song reprise in the middle because it was so seamless I’m- Also, because I know there are other Epic fans that watch this channel, I very much enjoy and recommend imagining Penelope singing this to Antinuous.

What I love most about her villain songs is they make sense. If certain characters made different choices, this is totally a path she could have gone down. That's especially true for Mirabel in Encanto. I found myself rooting for her in her villain song. Well, more a simple heel turn than a full villain as I thought she was quite justified.

However, if she simply used him as a Prince and book delivery system, then she would be able to achieve royal status of a petty kingdom (an incredible upgrade in her prior social position) and enable her to have the life of intellectualism she wants by manipulating her husband. Then, once she's had a couple of children, she can get rid of her husband and raise the children as more direct pawns.

Book Recommendation: Rebel Rose by Emma Theiruat (I don’t think I spelled that correctly, lol) It’s a “Post-canon” book for the original movie (with elements of the live action version) it’s set during the French Revolution, and Belle and the Beast (whose name is Lio in this version) quell the revolution in their area, and Le Fou is gay and in love with Gaston, but didn’t realize it until Gaston was dead.
I absolutely love your musical ear, I'd absolutely love to see your reaction to stupendium. One of my favorite song is a pizza the action and frost punk, i absolutely love to see what you pick up musically and what you think of it.

The have a song in almost every episode as well as some lore behind the villains. But there's also Sing along videos just for the songs.
