The problem of using older version items (1.0 items not converted) is that affecting your items set features, since you need 4 items with the same set skill (i.e. Sharp Blade, Lore of the Arcane, etc).
So far from testing, item stats have a fair greater impact on your commanders performance than set effects, so having the BiS is more important than a complete set. Hopefully that helps 😊
@@TheHJWgamingYou are not the first to say this, since other theory crafters came out with the same conclusion in some Discord communities.
The down side of that is a possible update killing the possibility of convert older items or, even worse, nullify the effects of old items.
In a sense, if you are a whale, it is better to get the right gold artifacts than the right set, and eventually wait to have some luck to ending up combining the right set eventually.
The majority cannot even equipment 1 character full gold though.
hey you made me think of something with this video thanks ! already made azru khor one of my main in 2.0 but you made me think of a sunnind beast skill + azru khor bow knight + theoden and eomer eored leader (their skills doesn't say the damage has to be physical)

On tactics he's a monster. Disperse his raider skill activates and does damage across every hit suninds poison only activates on normal attacks she does also have a chance to pick herself
stacking all extra damage from sunind, azru, and eomer skills, troop damage is still much less effective than commander damage made by Lurtz, Shadow, Dain.
What about 1.0 frenzy hammer on lertzs or shadow
What do you think about running lurtz as a Uruk troop buffer?

Most tier 1s aren’t worth using due to the respect value decrease after ascension, especially double ascension
it is useless to keep the old weapon, you have to convert them all, because sooner or later they convert them automatically, so this video is almost useless for the equipment
Is this confirmed? I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere that old will be automatically forced to change.
Either way, equipment recommendations are fine for BiS at current state of play
