Doctor said the Herpes virus does not have medical cure because the virus is capable of hiding within the human cells, it remains protected from your immune system. Herpes isn't a special virus - your immune system has the tools to fight it back. The “garage door open” notification during the gentamicin question always freaks me out for a few seconds before I realize it’s not my house talking 😂 at least I got the answer right
OMG you can hear that?!? 😂😂😂
I wish I knew this channel earlier on. She is funny but her way makes it stick like a mom talking to her kids "HELLO" lmfaooo
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Your videos are soo so helpful while studying for Hessi’s. Thank you professor D!
Aight Professor D. I’m Taking Pharmacology ATI in about 2 months 😬😬 Listening now so I’m prepared
Smart!!!😉😉😉
Your baby come out with three eyeballs got me 😂 thank you for keeping me entertained
😂😂😂
I found the kflex part interesting.. I have a true penicillin allergy.. I had mastitis and I told the hospital I have a true penicillin allergy and they still gave me kflex.. they got lucky im not allergic to both like my mother is
How will l ever forget.. Tetracyclines are teratogenic and “you don’t want that baby coming out with three eye balls” . I need to get in touch ASAP!
🤣🤣 tetracycline.. u said.. 3 eye balls 🤣🤣 thank you for all these videos .. keep them coming.. 👍🏻👍🏻
Wish you did more challenging questions. Each time you pop up on my feed I give your videos a go but still simple questions. These are great for understanding the basics but the questions on ATI are not as straightforward.
❤
Am learning proff
UPDATE for my nursing students watching this: as of 2022 aspirating for IM injections is considered outdated practice. Nursing is constantly evolving and is based on evidence based practice :) good luck guys!
yeah we don’t do that anymore! i’m a RMA and in nursing school & we don’t aspirate on IM injections, still got the question right though lol! maybe they’ll remove that type of question?
First off i love your videos so far i have been passing pharm because of you
I have failed Pharmacology. This is my second time. I took the HESI for the first time of this semester an have failed it. I have one more chance. I hope your videos are my saviour. Of not I am kicked out the program ugh
Hope you made it 🙂
I want a 3 eye baby 🤣. I love you. You make nursing fun
that "EXCUSE ME with the bulging eyes" got me to pay attention to my screen.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
厉害了,我的姐。6666 You are really good
Ma'am, you are intense and I'm about it!
Taking my pharm Hesi in less than 2 hrs. Hope this saves me.
How did you do?
Hi, I’m really grateful for your videos but do have a question on this one! My school uses Kaplan for NCLEX prep and on Kaplan it says patients can open capsules and sprinkle onto applesauce to take them. I’m a bit confused by this bc in this video you say we never ever open capsules. Any thoughts Professor D? Thanks!
Were they talking about enzymes? Capsules should never be opened, crushed or chewed. They have coating for time release.
Please help with this question; You administer the patient’s scheduled metoprolol of 25mg PO in the morning at 0900. The MD writes new orders to increase the dose to 50mg Pao every 12hours at a 1030. What would you do?
Where do u get your questions?
We are in the vein Give IM to muscles
Hi! I have a question regarding one question on this video about gentamicin and what could be a sign of adverse effect on the patient. The answer was ringing of the ear (which is, as you said a sign of gentamicin toxicity). My question is, about the other option which was "itching". I was considering that as the answer because I was thinking that was an initial sign of an allergic response to gentamicin, which I feel would affect the patients safety too. Between toxicity and allergic reaction, which would be more life threatening?
Start pharmacology next week
I wonder when she’s gonna drop the makeup routine 🥺 lol
Hi Professor D, i order a tumbler 2 months ago, can you say when will it be delivered?
I have a question regarding infant antibiotic medication. Is choice #4 the answer due to the question not specifying how long it should be taken?
Please can anyone help me out with the topics for First Semester Nursing Pharmacology?
I'd really appreciate it a lot
Do you teach ATI for a those who have to take an exam for example on ati pharmacology, fundamental, med surg, etcetera....just checking... Thank you
thank you I'm taking my CPNRE EXAN in a one month and i'm so scare can you please give me any advice Thanks a lot
my mum used to force us to chew the capsule with heavy beating if you should dare to refuse
hi l have a question do you have a simple exam for pharmacology for nursing school ?
How you can study for ati pharm retake?
Can someone explain the penicillin question to me 😭 why wouldn’t you first test the pt for a skin allergy instead of observing for an allergic response
It’s not common practice to aspirate before giving an IM injection anymore.
🌈🌈🌈🌈😍🙏
