Awesome vid, ty for lookin for these shadow changes. I've also seen some people mention that deinon apparently got its sense ability, but that wasn't listed in the notes. If you're up for it I'd really like to know how long a charge attack has to be held for now in order to get full dmg output since they implemented the change.
I noticed that as well when using my deinon for test footage today! Cool it got a sense. Charge attack rework video is a great idea, I’ll add it to the list. Cheers
Another super high quality video! The new footstep audio is my favorite part of the update by far. Stealth is finally viable on big dinos after all this time.
It’s been extremely annoying! I think we figured out a partial solution (for pc at least)! If you retrigger the auto run button (and then quickly keep sprinting after) INSTEAD of using your movement keys to cancel it, it works a bit better
Dasp is great now, it needed some love! I feel like pycno overall suffered though. I know hp got buffed, but no more “tap charging” and armored tail damage reduction is down to 25%
@@Saved2_447 Its default bite got a slight damage nerf but a cooldown buff so you can attack much faster (higher overall dps), and default bite’s cool down was unlinked from the other bites so you can now use them in tandem
a fix not listed was speed sarco sub species, the speed is now speed, before defense and balance were faster then speed sarco, its now reversed speed is faster.
In the semi realism server im in, if you die to fall dmg half to adult i think and if you die to a player u go back to adolescent, all apexes like rex and spino take 6 hours passive growth

The auto run problem is a glitch. I feel you tho i use auto run in my movement a lot. problem was on ptb as well and I’ve been contacting the mod team and they are now looking into it.
I love how pot doesn't have a big punishment for dying other than losing alot of marks but making that now you lose even less growth is a bit silly and I don't like it
I’m with you. It’s punishing to new players or growing players, not punishing to someone with every Dino grown in the game. Flawed system. Not to mention how easily you can hot swap and re enter a fight. My opinion is they should make the growth loss tiny or remove it all together, and when you die, you spawn far away from the death site and cannot change dinos for 10 or 15 mins thereafter to prevent hotswapping (unless you find a new server). That way if you feel like walking all the way back to the fight, you can. But you can’t swap to your hot logged hatz or sarco to immediately influence the fight. Feel like it would help players value life more
The death punishment change I think is long overdue. The downside before was just too harsh in my opinion. It promoted being super passive for hours and taking zero risks as a player to not waste hours of play time growing.

It's reassuring that the auto sprint "feature" isn't just me. I use it all the time and now it kind breaks the immersion because I'm scrambling to stop my dino from running into unfortunate situations

the fact that rex didn't get hp buffed and allo didn't get stamina depletion removed on his claw and hatchet bite is crazy, at least hatchet bite and claw bleed stats got buffed by amazing amounts
Rex got face tank buff tho which is nice, sadly hatchet bite is still utterly unusable for allo since if you run it you just can’t deal damage. Claws pretty much only do bleed. If it had 2 head slots or a claw damage attack like spino or sucho, it would be great. Poor allo :(
@@Khanware facetank is a useless ability. Using facetank means you have no brain, it literally removes your crushinf bite which means you can't ambush and hunt anything that isn't an apex. Just buff rex hp and remove the ability and literally no one would care.
Bone break is nice for sure, but face tank is far from useless imo. You’re thinking mix pack rexes that just face stuff into anything they see. I’m thinking about trying to survive mix pack rex stuffers by having any extra defensive advantages I can lol
@@ericmedeiros5990 I'm not having that issue on pc, but that sucks! You could file a bug report in game or get ahold of someone in their discord. I'm sure you're not the only one having this issue
Going up hill makes you move slower making footsteps silent. We walk slower than walk speed some times for this reason without having to crouch. For example lambeo cannot crouch walk silent so i walk slower
@@Khanware Dasp can kill it in 5 bites and a rex in 2 bites. I tryed it and I didnt even made a single scar on him. Later i tryed kill a lamb and it couldn't even damage me.
Well lambs did get their role changed to full support, their kit is much more suited for small skirmishes and running and then healing for support rather than active brawling. Think more like metri’s role changes. Metri used to be a fantastic brawler that was fast, could apply heaps of venom, and take down apexes. Now it’s less speedy, way worse stamina, have to be far more careful, but it’s an effective support dino to have

@@Khanware But Lambeo was not like this in reality. The whole pot balance is terrible most apexes are extremly weak and some heebivores as well
