Looks like fun! I did the same to my sons 80 Ghia a year ago. N41 with gt40s 3 bar. Love it! We also converted from C4 auto to T5 with 3:73 gears. I am sure the c4 would do fine with an upgraded converter. Might need longer pushrods with shims. I found the explorer push rods did not preload the lifters correctly.

Curious, what length pushrods did you go with?

      @@sailorsteve56a I used
6.300. I also used this shim kit to dial it in to cam card spec (3/4 turn). Ford Performance Parts Rocker Arm Pedestal Shim Kits M-6529-B302. Here is my vid on it. th-cam.com/video/cqO3hQooSTY/w-d-xo.html

Explorer roller, gt40p's, I like where this is going brother! You're right, it sure does look clean. Very similar to what I'm putting together for my 91. Can't wait to see the progress bud. Good luck finding a truck for your boy. The n41 is a bad mother

Yeah, I admit. I really wanted to go 460, but it would have been a lot of work and $. This was a great deal, and I think it will be really cool!
