My son has a 79 Mustang with the cologne motor.Id never heard of this model until he came home with one.Nice job on your restoration .Hope ours looks just as nice
@@Raptor3388 Yeah doesn't surprise me it would be uncommon but you can always repaint it in one of the yellow color options. If I got one I'd want it to look like this: c1.staticflickr.com/5/4017/4703582086_ecbe6d6ffa_b.jpg
Hi, I still have the red notch, it's a great little car. I will probably paint it dark metallic grey with some graphics in the future. It will look great with the red interior. You can see a video I posted a couple years ago, hasn't changed much. As for the Vaquero (copper color) one, it was way too rusty to be saved unfortunately. I used a lot of parts from it for the two other ones, the right fender ended on the blue hatch, the left one is on the red notch. So is the passenger door. And many other bits, it was like it was meant to be used for parts for the other ones. This car helped me restore these cars a lot, it would have been much more complicated to source everything without it. I sold the rolling body for banger racing last month, it should race in June.
Much respect toward any Ford Mustang. A Mustang can only be beaten by another Mustang !
Beautiful blue.
Thats a really nice looking restoration, congrats! Good to see another fox back on the road in Europe.

They were made only for the 79 model year, and not the whole year.
Thank you very much!
great job ! enjoy your ride
oh.... to bad you sold it :( hope the next owner will enjoy it
you live in france ?
yes I do ;) The new owner was really excited about the car ! It's in the area of Reims now
Really neat job done on it!
Nice! I wouldn't mind having one of those. But it needs the factory 2.8 badges.
I did keep them preciously, but I left them to the new owner to decide if he wanted to install them or no.
Where was the build sheet located?
Nice Job! I own 1980 Ghia V8
Where did you bought the muffler and the tailpipe?
Rockauto, but it's not listed in the V6 parts. I took the left side muffler and tail pipe in the 1984 Mustang V8 section.

I really want a yellow hatchback of this model year.
Not a common color, i've seen a few notchbacks in yellow.

I’m in the Lot et Garonne and looking to buy an early foxbody! Do you have any for sale? Merci!
Hello, no I don't but this blue Mustang is for sale if you want, it's near Reims now.
Vraiment sympa cette fox en bleue ! ( Je vois quelle a des plaques françaises alors je réponds en français haha ! )
Oui j'ai adoré cette voiture ! Pour info le propriétaire actuel viens de la mettre en vente ;)

What about the other 2 notchback 2.3 mustangs you had?

@@Raptor3388 cool stuff! Thanks for response!
A Ghia with manual crank windows, no A/C, not even a AM radio?
Hey but it has a rear wiper 😅
It has TRX package too
