Got to see Patina in Pippin before the nomination. It was MAGICAL. Pippin was the very first show I was cast in high school and I fell in love. The revival was on another level! SO DESERVED. 😍
i love laura, but she was basically playing herself. she's going to go on and play more challenging roles and she'll win a tony. i just don't see why people have to discredit patina's well deserved win.
I love Laura too but the thing is is that it was a fair win, Patina is playing a classic role and she's giving her heart and soul every time she performs it. She sings her ass off , and she's doing Fosse like its nothing along with acrobatics on top of that . Honest to say , some only went for Laura because they huge fans or they haven't see BOTH revivals . Laura will win a Tony , no doubt and it was obvious it was Patina . That's just my opinion .
Why would you die for her? Die for your own mother children family not someone who doesn't even know you exist. Worshipping idols will lead you to the Pitts of hell
Why did they cut out the listing of the nominees and the announcements? That's usually the best part. I like to see the reactions of the winners and their walk to the podium.

Well she didn't , and her role as Cinderella was boring and besides she was kidding herself . If Scandalous was still running it would have been Carolee Carmello , but the nightlight of the category were Carolee , SJB and Patina . The rest were weak
