Totally STUNNING, I ADORE Debbie Harry. She is absolutely beautiful and her voice, style and ability to experiment with all different styles and cultures are always A + with both Blondie and Debbie solo ***
What a great tune by my childhood crush girl. Don't know how I missed this one when I was growing up in the 70's. Too much partying I guess. Heart of Glass, Tide is High, Rapture I remember. But, I just don't remember this one. But hearing this one now is really nice. This tune by Blondie is just wonderful. Boy, Deborah Harry was so talented and so beautiful. I know she's old now, like myself - but this is how I will always remember her. What a woman !
I don't remember ever hearing this song before. It was so great! The music was not so overpowering and you can hear just how crystal clear is Deborah Harry's voice. A unique voice. This so called punk rocker was so versatile and a much better singer than many of these young punks today.
Good song. I was around 7 when Blondie was big and loved Debra back then. Nice voice and Natural beauty. She didn't need to be sleezy like some female musicians have become sine then. Guess that is why I like the seventies and eighties music the best. These artist just seemed to have fun with their music instead of worrying about the money and it shows in the difference between the good old music compared to the new crap out today.
After 32 years, I'd forgotten just how good this music really was. Hearing it again is a profound experience. All I can say is I'm glad I'm a 50-something.
@@Coasterdude02149 Calling women whores on the internet isn't a good look whatever you think of their musical merits. In fact it says quite a lot about you as a person. I hope , probably in vain, that my daughter never encounters such a twat as you.
Debbie really looks fantastic here. You have to love the suit. This is one of my all time favorite songs. It's so sweet and catchy. Her band is wonderful as well.
An excellent example of feminism you say I don't think a feminist would agree. As far as her dress style being ahead if her time try Coco Chanel or Amelia Earhart they were wearing suits around the 1910's 1920's
After hearing this song in an advert more than 6 or 7 years ago, the tune and words 'Sunday girl' were stuck in my head. I now have the whole song shaking around in there!
Love this song! Reminds me of summers in Kitchener-Waterloo, cruising down King St tunes blasting and when Blondie came on all the girls in the car sang at the top of our lungs along with the tape or radio. Those were awesome summer nights!
just read she would cry alot too during the recording of this album. apparently they were not an easy band to work with. very melodramatic and emotional
Ever since i was a baby my mum would put on this album on tape on the car when we drove round so i know every song off Parallel Lines and have sung along since i could talk! Now I'm 18 and still love Blondie, i have this album on my iPod now. XD
"Sunday Girl" may be my favorite Blondie song. Blondie makes 50s pop style rock n' roll come alive. Debbie's vocals are on display here, and the drum/bass put the hooks in all the right places.
I saw Blondie @ The Assembly Rooms in George Street when she was, well shall we say "not at her prime" but still had a whale of a time. Great songs - Great Band. I just loved the late 70's early 80's. Happy times & great memories of a lost childhood.
Debbie Harry was hands down the most beautiful rock singer ever. Just saw her a few hours ago in person before introducing a film at MoMA in New York, about two feet from me for quite a while, and she's still beautiful in 2011.
Look here. Beautiful, sexy, ladylike, gorgeous, no hair extensions etc no need to strip and twerk and do all the shit that modern pop girls are doing = and she can bloody well sing too.!
I'm in love. I can't explain, you would not understand.. It's me, my emotions. I was feeling some hang-over blues, but when I put my wireless headphones on and went for a walk into the sunny morning listening this song non-stop my feeling grew and I was smiling whole time, and I can surely tell without a lie that the sun was smiling toward me too.
gtta love that little cutie pie. love how debbie says" if i go with you my folks will get uptight." shes 34 here and she pulls that lyric as effortlessly as a teenager the way she also looks here.that subtlety is sheer talent!!!
Reminds me of my youth in summer. no song was better than this then and I fell in love with Blondie simple as. ice cream summer and Blondie can't beat it, will be with me forever. It's like mush :)
+Fiona Gordon Just goes to prove that a beautiful, confident, talented woman is appreciated by both sexes. Btw wearing a tie and shirt + pants was considered quite fahionable with women in the late 70's :-)
I remember that fashion trend. Something that really got that going and that maybe even started it was Diane Keaton in the movie "Annie Hall". There was even the term "the Annie Hall look" but Deborah Harry here in men's clothing has her own distinctive style and presence---as always! No one like Deborah...
Over hundred times I've been listened this song, in something like 24 hours, and the song remains the same... Now I'm absolutely sure this is a FUCKING good song.
Totally STUNNING, I ADORE Debbie Harry. She is absolutely beautiful and her voice, style and ability to experiment with all different styles and cultures are always A + with both Blondie and Debbie solo ***
Bought this record....one of my favourite Blondie songs. But so many to chose from. Debbie always looks so great.
one of the most underrated Blondie songs, and one of my favorites - super sexy voice, as always !
im a huge blondie / debbie fan . i voted thumbs up. im 44years old and i still love her .what a voice and what a band .

Better singer, better looking than any of the pop princesses in the last 20 years! Better music.

You must have been under a rock if you’ve never heard this before

Eric Bock - Agree, they had fun and it showed. Love the french version of Sunday Girl as well
Eric Bock nice comment
The sexiest creature to ever grace this earth.
I don't believe that anyone could have looked at her and not fall instantly in love.
I didn't she was to thin.
Here here. Agree.
I didn't, though that's not to knock her. She was like a weird, mystical aunt to me.
I have been in love with Blondie since I was a kid. She is the best lead female ever!
After 32 years, I'd forgotten just how good this music really was. Hearing it again is a profound experience.
All I can say is I'm glad I'm a 50-something.
10 years more and it’s still fantastic! I’ll come back in another decade to see if it’s still good lol!
im 16 born in 1994, and i love blondie and 70s music and 80s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! music of today can get lost.
I was 14- 16 when this came out
She was sexy without exposing herself like today's performers.
I suppose she didn't need to because she was/is so talented.

She's so damn beautiful! :o
So beautiful it's painful. Amazing.
And talented. Wow.
This is the best I've seen her look! Painfully beautiful is right!
Yep. An absolute stunner.
alot of them was back then,,,,,the 70's and 80's was great growing up as a teenager

Anyone can see by the way Debbie is dressed in this video she was way ahead of her time. Blondie was always on the cutting edge.
absolutely !!!!!
Kevin, that's the Annie Hall look that became fashionable in 1977.
Ok. Still an excellent example of feminism.
Kevin Easter Absolutely and no doubt about it ! :)

She still hits the notes, too! I saw her in July, and age hasn't made her voice any worse.
Love this song! Reminds me of summers in Kitchener-Waterloo, cruising down King St tunes blasting and when Blondie came on all the girls in the car sang at the top of our lungs along with the tape or radio. Those were awesome summer nights!
Another great Blondie song!~~ Sunday Girl!~~~ Love this song!!~~~~
Love this Blondie song!!
one of very few artists that to this day still brings me to tears
just read she would cry alot too during the recording of this album. apparently they were not an easy band to work with. very melodramatic and emotional
One thousand years from now america will only be remembered for the moon landing and as debby harry's birthplace.
And one of those was made up...
Well said.
Well, where do you think Ms Harry was born then?
Stuart Jenkins Miami.
Not
Blondie's NY brought me here. Debbie's suit in this clip is to die for!
Pure Magic .. still great after almost 40 yrs
Best looking female singer ever, probably not everyone sees her that way but in my eyes she'll always be 😍😍
Their style is so simple and catching
Ever since i was a baby my mum would put on this album on tape on the car when we drove round so i know every song off Parallel Lines and have sung along since i could talk! Now I'm 18 and still love Blondie, i have this album on my iPod now. XD
I love this song! Such a classic
I loved Debbie in the seventies and still love her.
Timeless song from a great band.
Good god, she's gorgeous. One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, I swear.
Wonderfull such a joy to listen to and Debbie is of course unique in very good way!.
She is still so very pretty ...Boy did I need my notebooks between classes when I thought about her! LOL
My first Kiss to this tune in 1978, 11 years old on holiday in St Anne's near blackpool!
Great Days! Blondie one of the best ever!!!!!
At school in the West Midlands 1979, everyone seemed to prefer Heart Of Glass, which is a fine song but i always preferred Sunday Girl
"Sunday Girl" may be my favorite Blondie song. Blondie makes 50s pop style rock n' roll come alive. Debbie's vocals are on display here, and the drum/bass put the hooks in all the right places.
This so reminds me of a surfer movie. Love this sound.
i.m 53 now and still my heart flutters whenever i see this..love ya debbie
Oh bring me an 80's hairdresser any day - that is a work of sculptural art xxx
Love this song, a throwback to the 1950s, sung by the most gorgeous human ever.
Man she was just so beautiful.
what a stunner this 72 years young woman is xxx

Debbie was sexy
-just by showing up.
Less sexy than incredibly desirable. Yes sexy, but more of a presence than a booty.
Yaniv Proselkov Well said. Debra rocks !
Nnnggg the Beatles weren't considered to be flaunting their sexuality through their clothing - or lack of - so much, though.
And positively scandalous hand holding, I'm sure.
She is brilliant, beautiful and down right amazing talent.Just love her and blondies stuff.Hope they go on forever.
i love her outfit!!!!
Such a beautiful woman , love her !
She just has one of those voices.
I'm in love. I can't explain, you would not understand.. It's me, my emotions. She was really good looking
Anytime, Blondie ! What a looker, and a fine singer too, AND a Buddy Holly fan too : that's perfection !
sexiest women from the 70s and the 80s
Rich Smith right BEHIND Pat Benatar! MY opinion. But loved her nontheless!
absolutely brill..great songs from a georgeous singer..
Blondie - Heart Of Glass is my favorite!
It was great to be young when Blondie were at their peak. Saw them twice at the Apollo Glasgow, great memories ,rock on you guys.
Wow ,the most sexiest girl ever, love her to bits xxx.
Great stuff !!!...catchy tune, good lyrics that you can actually remember and hum or sing to yourself...jeez- whats wrong w/ todays music ???
40 yrs ago wow........still sounds good
+William Musser Better than most of the crap that passes for music today
+Matthew Kirkland 37 years by my count, but close
remember this so well on the jukebox, sounded great then and now.
nice hair!!
From Brazil, year 2020. We will also be hearing your beautiful songs in the next millennia, they will always be great successes around the world.
Gary Numan in the intro. Wish i was still 11 like i was in '79
how can you not like this :)
I wish good music was mainstream again
Saw them live tonight. This is the one song I missed. She still got it at age 72, though! :)
Pure Beauty.......over.
gtta love that little cutie pie. love how debbie says" if i go with you my folks will get uptight." shes 34 here and she pulls that lyric as effortlessly as a teenager the way she also looks here.that subtlety is sheer talent!!!
She was more classy than any of the modern girls NOW!
písnička mého mádí , vím už se nevrátí ,ale byly to krásné časy a nikdy na ně nezapomenu !
atomic blonde perfection on Earth
How can you not like this. If you were around at the time.
And with that, I'm a lovesick school boy again.
Debbie shined in Mexico City less than two weeks ago. It is awesome to see that she still has it all.
Skinny ties! cool.
Havent heard this in years wow I still love Blondie but my number one you already know!
Love blonde
Used to love this song back in the day, still holds up 31 years later! Deborah Harry DEFINITELY could sing!
A woman wearing a tie? WHY NOT??!!!!!
hey this was back when we had no wories of anything and anybody it was great years
This hit from Blondie was the 411th #1 song of the Rock Era in the United Kingdom.
That reminds me of a 1950's girl..very strange for Blondie.
Love this song. Just classic Blondie...
Exemplary of the transition between the 70s and the 80s..(even a bit 60s Beatles here..)
It was a transition period. And our girl Blondie did help make that transition into the new wave of music.....
I can't even find the words!!..Timeless,crystaline,perfection!..thanks for posting!
She looks good in a suit
True
There's one where she was wearing a dress that looked like it was made from a blue trash bag!! 70s fashions were hilarious!
The classic sounds of Blondie, love it! I wonder what their new album will sound like.
SO HOT!
Reminds me of my youth in summer. no song was better than this then and I fell in love with Blondie simple as. ice cream summer and Blondie can't beat it, will be with me forever. It's like mush :)
I love Tara Grantham.
She lovely and available.
Love her outfit. She always seems to be wearing something interesting.
God damn, Debbie Harry was a smoke show.
Great song...Glad I came across it.
Thanks for sharing

Class, this is Blondie at their greatest, What a Voice, what a BABE!!!!
shes got this lazy singing style which makes the band unique.
Yeah, very easy to listen to and she still always hits the notes. What a distinctive voice.
Over hundred times I've been listened this song, in something like 24 hours, and the song remains the same... Now I'm absolutely sure this is a FUCKING good song.
she didn't have to pop her ass to get 5 million views.
wow what a song , sublime , i love you , thanks a lot
