When living in my van last summer, I gave my Christmas decorations that I really enjoyed - away to make space, hoping to get equally delightful ones for this season. They were very simple and focused on Jesus’ birth and joy to the world....I just now realized that who I gave them to is living with someone who knew my son ( who is now in Heaven), very well, and so I can share with her in what my version of celebrating Christmas was. 💝

In many ways, I am waiting to be healed, waiting for my body to become healthier, but I hope in that time of waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled (whether in this life or the next), I am continually preparing my heart to see what God is doing right now too. You two give me so much food for thought as always :)
When ever I'm anxious, I use the "Be stills" Be still and know that I am God. Be still and know that I am. Be still and know. Be still. Be. or this one Peace be still. Peace be. Peace!.
I think the anticipation of waiting for something is exciting. For me it is not Christmas. I'ts staring a new job and meeting new people. Still the wait is exciting I'm a pre school teacher and I will have new little students. I feel truly blessed to have this new opportunity and celebrate Jesus Christ in my life.
I really needed this today. I’ve gotten caught in the present giving of Christmas. I need to get back to biblical reason for Christmas, but I’m not sure how.
In your guys’ next podcast you should explain what Advent is. On another TH-cam channel I realized that Advent another holiday. Up til this week I’ve only heard of the Advent Calendar Please explain what it is
