I love this channel it's just a blessing to have Mary and Peter In my life as a c.f patient it's beautiful to have them . I'm so thankful for them and God's work through them to me .
God helps us walk though the hard times. We can redeem our self's and retain optimism knowing that jesus will bring hope and give us the strength to keep moving on.

They are both about serenity but hope is about positive perception of endurance. As we walk through the fire we won't be burnt because God is there. Optimism is having an open mind to see the things that bring light and contentment eventually
I was not raised with religion, really at all. When I became an adult, out of curiosity more than anything else, I tried going to a Christian church for a while. I even talked to LDS missionaries and went to an LDS church for a bit. I felt like an outsider and out of place in both cases. I didn't really, and still don't really understand a lot of it. I try, I really do. I have often thought I am jealous of people who have a deep belief because they seem so content and not wracked with depression and anxiety as I am. I want to believe and I try but I am having a real hard time breaking through the wall I seem to have around myself. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, general anxiety disorder, and social anxiety. I have struggled my entire life feeling like I am on the outside looking in at other people. I guess that's the best way to describe it. I want to talk to someone about religion, but I get so terrified if I think about it that I just can't do it. I am sorry if this is oversharing. I do watch your posts here, and I cry through them every dang time. Thank you for being here.
