Hi Morgan the beech log pieces and the main spalted oak circle are nice the grain in the wood it is lovely, I like the blue resin. The random pattern is extremely brilliant. The bowl is magnificent and unique it shows just what a fabulous imagination and creative brain you have. Thank you for an excellent and amazing video. Amansa xx
Really very beautiful. The difference in grain and colour of the wood vs the epoxy is absolutely stunning. Thank you for making and sharing such amazing pieces!
Morgan… great planning for a “random” effect. It almost looks like the wood is pouring down the inside of the bowl…. And spalting in the white oak really was beautiful. Nice job bud!
Hey Morgan. I have often commented about how much joy your craft brings me because of the beauty of your pieces. Sometimes I have wept. Today I got an added bonus. For some reason, watching you hammer those pieces of wood into the holes had me laughing my head off. Thanks mate. Another splendid piece. Joel. P.S. Totally improvised? I have a sneaking suspicion that you actually know exactly what you are doing.
joel Thank you very much for your comment I am very happy that you appreciate this piece😊 I improvised in the sense that I did not make a drawing or other calculation to create this piece😉
Absolutely beautiful! Not surprising at all. Everything you make is always amazing and on point. It was so mesmerizing to watch. Thanks for sharing! Still loving all your work from Louisiana/USA. 💜
I like your experiments in design. I also appreciate your experience and the care you take in dealing with the properties of the various woods you turn (no broken gouges 😉). Just wondering if Hampshire Sheen would consider sponsoring videos. When you cover the product name, it made me curious to find out what it was, so I looked it up. Indirect advertising... 😁

When the cutting tool smooths out the uneven wood how does your hands feel afterwards???
Rachel
A feeling of vibration may persist but it is not bothersome😉
What do you use as a pore filler I never heard of it before

What is pour filler like Johnson wax or sanding sealer.
