GREED: I just did this with my son. We went to a festival. Instead of thinking about how much things cost, within reason, I just enjoyed the day and things cost what they cost. Because, at the end of the day, I knew he was worth every penny I spent on him. We had a wonderful day!! Afterward, I felt great ❤

    Love it,
31 years this coming sept 2024..
So many meetings yand ive geard people Try to explain WHY they said "defects & short comings" the most popular i think has been " oh, they mean the same" ... " they just did not wanna use the same word" ..
    😅
Ive never heard your duscriptiin of defects and shortcomongs.
Makes so much more sence , than the "they mean the same thing theory"
Thank you so much , how you are still
Sober and carrying such a good message in Alcoholic Anonymous.

There is a reason all the steps have separate #s . Steps 6&7 in the big book are explained in pages 104 to 164. There is a reason there are 60 pages to help define what we learned in steps 4 &5.

Hey guys, I hope you have something to share with me. I am a guy who’s addicted to relationships and right now I am falling hard for this woman who works where I work (not precisely colleagues) and who also happens to be married. I don’t know if its me or that I thought that she had feelings for me. Anyway I am crushing really hard with all that carries with it (anxiety, sadness, anger); and right now I am no longer confident of my group and I don’t trust my sponsor. I keep going to meetings and doing service but this pain won’t go away. Thank you very much and God bless you

God simply gave us selfishness because it was necessary for Our Survival as the human race. Then He Gave us commandments and Help to keep our selfishness in check. And this is an Energy Universe..what you put out Comes Back to You. That is why everything works better for you when you are grateful and generous. 😊❤

Step 6- entirely ready to have God remove the defects from our character- related 4th steps to the sins to figure out what they are.
    Procrastinating in helping my self
Anger when I need to keep my mouth shut
    Jealousy and worry
    Greediness about hoarding things
Defects and shirt comings are flaws in our character
Defects are we developed them to help us cope angry bc I had no money so I pushed ppl away I used to then cope
But they stop working when we're adults 🙄 but still have the defect.
The shortcomings are the behaviors the outcome in your car. You have brake issues with your car that no one can see by they are there, but I know I have it we can see the shortcomings of the defect, like the anger or something I'll feel if you wreck bc your brash are bad they can't see the defect where it is coming from only the shortcomings aka the bit the deep meaning behind it all.
They only see the responses and behaviors & so you learn to keep your mouth shut
The defect is inside unseen the shortcomings are the behaviors they see
What we have to do- is ask God to help us remove the defects.
Like anger, yelling , reactions ,that kind of stuff . Ask God for the power of controlling things like anger like nit getting mad.. and believe it if only the size of a mustard seed ask with all your heart and your will
What would be a get good rid of that is shut up ask God for love and power to remove the defects by making them clear to me and giving me the choice to do this.
Alot of these 2 are the same ones is we think the other are the ones that show..
Keep it simple very hard but simple
