Very helpful and the little calculation is pretty darn accurate in my estimation. Have a Hot Springs 450 gal and it is used by 2 rental Cottages. VERY heavy use, Very popular amenity! However as a result of heavy summer use I need to change water Monthly to 6 weeks use. Experience has taught me tricks but you videos have been key! THANK YOU!

Enjoying your channel. Can I get away with just shocking my hot tub once a week and not using any chlorine or bromine? It’s used about twice a week.

I find it hard to put the hose all the way in the filter when I am using a pre filter attached to the hose the hot spring ones I have said do not submerge in water any thoughts?

You will need to take the ore filter off and fill until water comes out the bottom jet. Then put the filter back on and continue to fill

Hello, I know it's not recommended, but couldn't I refill in the middle of winter with the power on as long as I leave like a foot of water st the bottom for the filters to keep woeking?

Try cleaning with some stain and scale if that doesn’t work I would contact the manufacturer.

We do every six months and could probably get a year. I changed today at 900 ppm tds every day user

It’s all about the tds and if you are only at 900 you could go longer but it’s always good to have fresh water going into winter!

@TheHotTubLady yeah for sure. We have long cold winters here too so if your not changing in Oct you better be real confident in your evaluation of your water lol
