Absolutely amazing!! . Forgive me for this question. Your instructions on Rebrick. Is the instructions the same scale as this model on your YT video? 6000+ pieces...the pic of the model looks fairly small on Rebrick 😕
From what I know they’re replacing the 40-tooth gear with a bit wider one, so that’s what you’re probably referring to. So there is no additional instruction as you just need to use that gear while you build it. Regarding nameplate - I have no idea what they changed and how.
Congratulations, it looks great. I would like to ask about the choice of engine color. There are many versions. Ken marschall used orange in his graphics. Cameron used the yellow engines of the Jeremiash O'Brien ship in the film. In older movies [sos titanic 1979, no greater love 1995] the engine was green. Some graphics are also gray, just like in this model.I have been looking for an answer for a long time as to what color the engine actually was😅.
Hey. Thank you 😊 In fact it should be something between yellow and orange. The choice of gray is just because there are no bricks in color that would somehow fit. Yellow was too bright, orange as well. So I decided to go with gray to match the old photos :)
@@borysf I found information that the color of the engines was called "light mast". This is the color of the masts on the Queen Mary. It is very close to the "Tan" color of lego. Would it be possible to simulate in a design program what a model with this color would look like? ;)

valves are inside the cylinders. Where the valves' rods end, there is a beam which moves up and down both ends, and also moves up and down as a whole simultaneously. It moves valves up and down inside the cylinders
Hey! There are two ways to build it: 1. Buy the instructions and gather all the bricks by yourself: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-157380/borysf/rms-titanics-reciprocating-triple-expansion-steam-engine/#details 2. Buy a complete set from www.lesdiy.com/products/moc-157380-titanic-reciprocating-triple-expansion-steam-engine (yes, I have an agreement with them, but keep in mind these are not genuine LEGO) Hope it helps :)
She’s alive!! Congratulations my friend on completing the project!
Very nice 😊
Pretty damn cool. I love the details. The catwalks, the lights.
Wow! the finished product looks fantastic!
Lovely work on the valve gear and connecting rods
Thank you :)
This looks amazing!!!
perfect, looking forward to it
This is so cool. I'd love to display a model like this on my desk!
Magnificent!
Amazing work!
Amazing!!
Great job bro
A bit of 'big end' knock there I recon. Fab.
Pistons are made of 2x2 round bricks and these cause the “knocking” while sliding through the cylinder’s bottom holes
Veel tijd en energie in gestoken
I got to see this on Shopee

Thank you :) yes, this is the same model :)
I bought the set. I think there is a patch with a gear and the enginedataplate. Bit there is no instructionnhow to install the patch. Any idea?

@borysf thank you very much. Helps alot. The replacment gear is much thicker.

O @@borysf Jasne, było by super ;)

Wow, that's awesome. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is that built from scratch, or is it a kit?
This is my own creation :) but most likely it will become a kit :)
@@borysf Holy moly, that's super impressive! Bravo!!
@@borysf I would love to have this in kit form, I love the engines and this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
OMG! I would buy a kit if it becomes available. I've always been fascinated by Titanics engines.
No veo el trabajo de las válvulas , solamente las bielas y los pistones .

Is the engine minifig-sized???
Hey, i found your post about your build right next to a minifig
Turns out it was minifig sized.
Not really. Its a bit bigger than a minifig. Minifig was placed to highlight its real size in comparison
@@borysf Is it a bit wide???
What do you mean? Its dimensions are:
Width: 21cm / 8.2in
Length: 56.5cm / 22in
Height: 40.5cm / 15.9in
@@borysf Ok, i've been waiting for your reply
Wer can I get one🤯😍
