- Here you go! Happy New Year! This is a Tabata to start us off. 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds off. 8 rounds total for 4 minutes of work.
You can jazz it up as you progress, or you can keep it simple by just squatting.
Keep the weight in your heels, and think about pulling the hips back. Your feet can be wide like a Sumo wrestler to target your inner thighs. You’ll also have your feet at a slight angle with toes pointing a little outward. Not too much, though, because your knees will try to accommodate if your hips aren’t as mobile.
My friend Perry used to make fun of me when I did this in the gym. He called it my "Beach Barbie" workout. One day he tried it with me and realized it was tougher than it looks.
