The previous week or so went to MIT and saw Los Muñequitos on their first US tour got there during midshow tickets were sold out so i got to walk in for free......the good days!

I played bass in the Machito band from ‘68 to ‘73. Mario was musical director. I have always regretted not spending more time learning from him.
