Ironically you already can skip that door with the forklift without this mod. The forklift allows you to clip through the door which speed runners do to get to the ending as the ending is always there even without hitting all triggers.
I know this is gonna ruin the joke. It the reason the sun is already risen in cursed Halo reach in that mission is because the first checkpoint is forgot to set the alarm which is why the sun is up as normally the mission is at night / very early morning.

The armor lock glitch where you can walk around with armor lock has actually been around since the Xbox 360 days of Reach. It was an extremely hard glitch to perform.

(That's what you pulled off, BTW... there's a well-known glitch involving very precise positioning of the forklift from the original version of the game that also works in MCC, where you can noclip through the gate using the forklift, and the game won't load the enemies for the rest of the level. It's usually more of a speed running tactic than anything)
He uses a flying forklift to skip a section and despawn enemies when a normal forklift can achieve that exact same skip by putting it between the doors and getting out.
I am gonna go one level better.... I broke the game without doing anything :D Couple of times I have been playing Reach, the mission would suddenly start again from beginning.

That no enemies glitch at the end is an old LASO trick. You glitch through the wall with a forklift and finish it quick!

In Armor walking you are able to stay invincible while in vehicles, but die as normal if the vehicle explodes.

I'd say Halo 3 is the general fan favourite, it pretty much perfected everything from the previous 2 games.
