Hi po, i am not defending vice coz I agree with regine and moira that this lady deserve the golden ticket. Pero if you really watched Idol, dapat ma realize mo its not purely about the voice. Coz if so dapat walang voting system at dapat purely the judges will score them. I think combination ng star quality and vocal quality pa rin. If kilala mo lahat ng idol winners, not all of them won because they have the best vocals, some of them won because they have the voice and charisma, while the runners up had only the vocal qualities.

Hindi sila ang main attraction sa show kundi ang mga contestants. Ako manonood hindi dahil sa kanila kundi sa mga gusto kong contestants.

What I really appreciated about her audition was that she knew what the range of her voice was and adjusted the melody and the chorus to her range. A lot of "amateur" singers would have just went to the high notes and it would have sounded awful or immediately switch into head voice just for the sake of hitting a specific note that is on paper but she didn't. Kudos!

I respect Ate Vice’s opinion/comment pero para sakin yung presence nya sa stage at yung voice quality nya is enough for her to be called a «star», madami nga mga artists na wala masyadong star quality pero they can/manage to stand out from other artists. Kung Kilala nyo sina Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Phillip Phillips na tumalo kay Jessica Sanchez lahat sila may combination ng Singing Talent and Good Looks. Ganon ang standard ng Idol. . Hindi sila ang main attraction sa show kundi ang mga contestants. Ako manonood hindi dahil sa kanila kundi sa mga gusto kong contestants.
May mga shonga na nagcomment oh. The competition is to find people who has the talent and can use the talent to be an idol.. It is also a ground for anyone chosen to be groomed and show the world that they are idols... Kung sa palagay nio na may star quality na lahat at may talent din, di sana di na sila sasali sa competition, dumiretso nlng sila sa mga recording studios or get jobs for singing in big events.

What I really appreciated about her audition was that she knew what the range of her voice was and adjusted the melody and the chorus to her range. A lot of "amateur" singers would have just went to the high notes and it would have sounded awful or immediately switch into head voice just for the sake of hitting a specific note that is on paper but she didn't. Kudos!
