I'm happy to hear this. I think birit singing is ok but it should not be the only genre that should dominate Filipinos' entertainment choices. I hope she doesn't sing anything birit moving forward, because I think she's already very good where she is now. There are just as many other great songs as birit songs, so she has many options for her to showcase her uniqueness.

So far siya pa rin talaga pinaka-magaling na nag-audition for me. Yung lagi mong babalikan dito kasi ang galing talaga. May wow factor and international level talaga. She deserved the platinum ticket tbh.

Before I go to bed, I watch this video. She’s my favorite among the auditionees in Idol Philippines Season 2.
I can't get over this song, I keep coming back here just to watch and listen to her, I don't get tired watching and listening. It's my first time hearing this song and since then I learned about it and now I keep singing it too, hahahaha. Na memorize ko na nga agad kase Ann Raniel made this song so fresh to think that this is really an old old song. She sang it so beautifully like this song was just released. Galing talaga. Now, she is one of my faves here among all the auditioners.

Come to the US girl. You're going to get big contracts I tell you! You have the cleanest voice of all the contestants who auditioned
I hope she auditioned in the US only because I know her style will fit her better in the US, especially in New York's Broadway. Does anyone know if Broadway is still looking for international talents? In the Philippines, this kind of singing is not mainstream, so she may not win, because majority of voters vote for birit singers. Filipino standards are for striking high notes which I admire but I admire tone of voice more. If she doesn't win, I think she should save enough money and make that US trip.

This is very refreshing to hear because it's very rare for someone to sing jazz on national TV here in the Philippines. Also, I became familiar with this song because of Gaga's version, with which I am really obsessed. I am so excited about what she has to offer in the next rounds.

I love Ann so much!!! Jazz talaga forte niya. She also deserves a platinum card pero I'm also happy that she had to go through the middle rounds para mas malaman din niya yung mga kailangan pa niyang iimprove and she is thriving sa gala round ngayon. She's already part of the top 6. I hope she enters the grand finals too. i love her. I'll support her all the way!!!
Jazz is very rare especially sa singing contest sa Pilipinas, it's very new to the ears and her voice is really powerful, she can easily belt high notes with that kind of voice. Superb performance!

I was pleasantly surprised with her voice. Song choice was perfect for this audition. She should listen to what Regine had to say because her performance would have been much better with proper eye contact to play around with the jazzy tempo. Was the best of the episode. Good job, Ann!

When you sang this parang i was transported into the busy streets of Manhattan New York. I cannot help but to comment just how impressive you have been.Definitely you got the hardest song choice of all contestants.You can definitely sing their audition piece and nailed it but they cannot do justice to that song. You are a winner. The only one who might give you a strong competition is someone who can sing like that in the opera.Until that does not happen you're a shoe in.

She is the most impressive among the candidates who participated in that round of auditions. Great tone, and I believe she deserves the Platinum ticket more than the person who received it initially. She really makes an impression on me. 💗

They both deserve the Platinum, but the girl who had it has more connection with her audience which makes her more deserving of the ticket. This girl right here has a higher and wider range (she can even go far in this competition), but just as what Regine and Moira said, this girl needs to look at her audience too and not just focus on the song. Cause she's just looking down like 90% of her performance.

As a viewer, first time kong kabahan at ‘matakot’ sa panel of judges. Kung paano sila tumingin habang kumakanta ka sa harapan nila. This time, Idol Philippines made the right set of judges. Kudos!

I like Regine’s comment… sa dami nung mga talent shows na napanood ko where judges would tell the contestants na tumingin at mag connect sa audience, I noticed na maraming instances na nakapikit sya while singing. Pero ang galing nga nya… looking forward sa next round.
Actually closing your eyes while singing isn’t really the thing kasi it is the indication na you’re feeling the song or you’re putting so much emotions. I think yung pino-point out ni Regine ay yung moments na nakatingin lang siya sa baba at hindi sa kanilang mga judges.

Ok, favorite audition right out of the gate. She's a born jazz singer. I would love for someone like her to represent the genre in the Philippine music scene. And I can tell she still has the potential to do more. I'm glad the judges recognized her talent immediately. And it also helps that she's from my home city!

I'm frustrated when the judges did not give her the platinum ticket which as for me , she deserves ! She sounds like Morissette Amon , when Mori was just starting to compete for some singing contests. And even Mrs.Alcasid won't dare to sing what she sang b'coz it's really a hard song to sing as she claimed. And she's the only contestant who had a STANDING OVATION given by the judges .
