Chito, being one of the judges, is a game-changer.
After her audition, she became the standard of the judges. Kaya yung iba rin na magagaling like cloie hindi nakakapasok. Because in this season, I think they are looking for someone who can make the song their own, not just can take high-notes and good runs.

Chito being one of the judges add so much flavor this season. Galing na pinapansin niya yung buong kanta not just the voice. Technicalities of song writing and putting emotions into one is hard. Si Moira galing din makaramdam, may hint din siya agad na nagsusulat si Ryssi. Ate Reg and Kuya Gary appreciating her rendition of Alipin dahil sobra yung connection na binigay ni Ryssi, damang-dama. Sapul talaga. Well deserved ang platinum, Ryssi. I may not know you before this audition but, I hope you never stop reaching your dreams and you receive more recognition in the music industry!

Tone ng voice nya shinoshowcase nya dito unlike sa ibang performance na need ng vocal techniques. Kumbaga parang hinaharana nya mga judges. For sure kung mas maganda pakinggan yan ng live kaya base sa reaction ng judges nagandahan sila. Hindi kasi nakukuha yung exact quality ng voice natin dito sa mga device na gamit natin e.
Tama lang yung para mabigla sila sa mga susunod na round.

i think ryssi's edge among the contenders is that she's an "artist" in the making, she doesn't sing just to impress and show her vocal capabalities, she sings to tell a story and touch everyone's heart. also, i love that she always puts her own flavour to the songs she's covering, a little twist here and there, making each song her own.

Yung mga namamayagpag ang songs sa airwaves. Mga dating walang dating. Pero look at them now. Talo na nila ang mainstream.
