I'm a metalhead so when it comes to denim jackets I buy cheap ones with various washes, acid wash is usually my go to, that look good and cut the sleeves off, then give them a little bit of that distressed look and wear a hoodie underneath but I keep my expensive ones like Levi's pristine though

I found an NFL Levi trucker jacket at the Levi outlet for like $25, you can the expensive name brand if you look around for it.
I have a denim shirt but it gets the job done as a jacket. It looks exactly the same and it's got some nice distressing and a nice wash. It looks so clean with a grey, black, or white hoodie underneath.
