MJ ducked Fulton 2 times for undisputed. Didn't give Danny Roman a rematch after a closely contested win to get the 2 belts. Then Fulton gave Roman a shot at his 2 belts and defeated him clearly. MJ lost to his mandatory Tapales. Ducked Ra'eese Aleem, who Sam Goodman defeated to become mandatory for WBO and IBF on 18-06-2023, before MJ became WBA mandatory. Goodman has since fought 4 times since then. Since MJ lost to Tapeles on 08-04-23, he defeated Gonzales in Dec 23 and complained about getting his shot at undisputed. When Goodman pulled out of the Inoue fight in Sept for a tune up, MJ's team were contacted but wanted to make the fight on the AJ vs Dubois undercard like he was the A side holding all the belts. Inoue became undisputed on 26-12-23, fought WBC mandatory Nery, after Goodman pulled out and MJ deal fell through he fought the WBO no.2 TJ Doheny. In Dec he's fighting his mandatory for 2 belts. So MJ can wait for April next year for his shot since he stalled so many other fighters careers before. He's been scared to lose his mandatory position and didn't want to give other fighters opportunities before when he had the belts but now demands to be given his shot before other more deserving fighters. Like Bob Arum told him, stop complaining and try to strip Inoue of the WBA, he should wait and negotiate for the fight next year. That's why he will fight in Dec and if he doesn't lose, he will get his shot probably in Vegas next April.
