the only ridiculous thing in this fight is a judge score 118-110. i dont know if he is drunk or something. well anyway, the right man won this fight. MJ have his moments in those last and championship rounds but tapales takes lots of rounds in first half of the fight.

And then the former champion kept getting hit by the same and repeated shots (lead left uppercuts and long left hooks in the exchanges. Brave Tapales went for broke from the first to the last round. Tapales should maintain his stamina. He has a great defense, but his offense is a bit underwhelming. He should transition his defense into counter punches, efficiently. He must have better boxing decisions

I don't get this comment. In this fight against Akhamadaliev, he's getting hit a lot. He didn't successfully block many punches, actually kept dropping his hands the moment before they landed, and didn't have much movement. His big swinging punches, his offence, and surprising timing seemed to be what he was doing well.
Tapales will be a sparring partner for Inoue.

凡戦かなぁ。アフマダリエフはステップワークが鈍い。9Rから追い上げたけど、コンビネーションも単調で一発狙いで空振りが多かった。タパレスは9R以降ガス欠してたけど、前半から中盤は右ジャブが有効打になっていて、後半はヘッドスリップ、肩ガードと左手のガードが固く、有効打をあまり許さなかったのが勝因か。どっちも上下の打ち分けが少なく、ステップワークによる角度変えも少なく、正面から打ち合うも追い足が遅いので盛り上がるラッシュが無く、見応えが無かった。

Tapales defensive style was kinda danger for him because as you watch the fight.. Tapales only use one hand to cover his head... The other is open which gives adhmaliev to counter it...

Tapales' jab, defense and movement were on point the entire fight, meanwhile MJ seemed somewhat hesitant in the earlier rounds, while his defense was getting exploited by Tapales who was landing all night. Despite the fact that he lost the titles to Inoue, this was a great performance by Tapales. Two top guys at their weight class going at it, you love to see it, respect to both warriors.

this reminded me of teofimo vs loma. you just know akhmadaliev could've taken the first half of the fight but he was too mindful of tapales power same as how loma let the first half of the fight go to teofimo. both results are essentially the same.
I'm not saying this because I'm Japanese, but these two lack both power and speed. Therefore, the probability of winning against Naoya Inoue is very low. If you fight Inoue, the match will be over by the 5th round.

He’s so vulnerable with a right uppercut, if he fights inoue,
He’ll get caught by a right hand, jabbed, jabbed, bend down then uppercut, a very simple strategy by inoue.
You have to change that or you’ll lose.
