Kemble Air Day - 31 May 1998

Towards the end of the nineties, Delta Jets organised the first of what would become a popular annual public air show. They would soon gain a reputation as being one of the best classic jet events on the air show circuit and are sorely missed. The last one was held in 2011.
Dating from 1998, this digital conversion from a long lost VHS tape I found in the loft, gives a taste of what was to come. Aircraft on display ranged from the Hunter, Vampire, Canberra through to a C-54 Skymaster on a round Europe tour to mark the Berlin, and the first visit of the Red Arrows to their ancestral home since their move away in 1983.
