I can't set the affinity thing with the CPU Cores, whenever I try to change it, it says ''Access Denied'' and I've been working on it with different ways but I'm not able to do it. for i5 12600k try masks 555 and FFF those seem to work better for me.
I did all the optimizations in this video but its crazy to me how much frame rate you are able to get mine is better but not like 500 like you were getting in BA. I have a 3080 and 10700k. I can get max like 220 fps in BA.
Yeah...my 8700k did better almost touching 400 at idle but then in fights would be 140-180-240. You are missing something and I think it might be hyper threading not off or the cores you set.
I think you might miss understand, I have 12700k at 5.0 all cores with ddr5 5600 xD

Any idea why when I click the affinity shortcut nothing happens? nothing launches? I checked the paths set everything to admin etc but I click my shortcut and nothing. :(
Hmm, check again. File should be a windows batch file. Use "" for path. Path and bdo launcher is case sensitive so make sure it is the same. Check your cpu affinity mask with process lasso, because it might be wrong for your cpu. Generally intel cpu's should be 55 for 4 core, 555 for 6 cores and 5555 for 8 cores and ryzen might be the same but should be always checked and not taken for golden.

@@shoryuken3305 nice. Try to set mask to 5555,then 555 and check with process lasso in cpu affinity - >current, if it works. A guy uses 5900x with 4 cores for fhd for best fps,other guy gets best fps with his all 6 cores.
hello I know this is old but how why I don't see red telegraph attack on world boss/mobs when I use lowest optimal settings?
try using very low or low. you will have better lighting there and effects, works rly well for caves and dark places, just + the gama and - the contrast. the lowest optimal for sure cuts alot of effects probably thats why.

Should be 555. That's all 6 cores without logical cores. 55 is 4 cores.
Bro you use a specific driver for 3080 nvidia for play bdo? I have an nvidia 3080 an i9 10850k processor but i can't get to your FPS

Is it possible that the number generated by the affinity core between ryzen and Intel changes? Example ryzen comes out 555 and intel A000 is this possible?
@@hardtokill2309 yes. There might be or not a difference. Depends on the cpu core count.
Have one problem, i log in via steam, and when i use your launcher, it takes me directly to Pearl Abyss account!
Hmm. It's working on PA client and not sure about steam. Maybe it won't work for steam. Or maybe you are doing something wrong. You could experiment a bit with steam apo. I have no solution.
For steam, I think the game should be in steam folder, in common apps. Try doing that there to the launcher or find the exe that runs the game. If you found out what is the order of starting the game you might solve the issue.
Found the solution, in the second line, you need to write -steam at the end. Like this:
Start /affinity 555 BlackDesertLauncher.exe -steam
In the registry editor, the black desert launcher folders dont even show up on mine. Is it because I play on steam?
They don't show, you add them. I already did it before the video.

For 6 core processor the mask is 555 for 8 core, 5555

@@hardtokill2309 then should be simple, 55555. You can test with 6,8 and 10 cores which mask gives you best fps/performance/smoothness. My best bet is bet will be 10corea with 55555.

i did affinity work well and all other settings but can;t set it to high priority :c
maybe it's a payed feature to work. but i think its not. its the anti cheat stopping u edit that. you have to try in regestry to make a key and try again in lasso also.

@@sylejmanavdullahu8094 well, you won't be able to apply the nvidia guide and integrated gpu is weak but if you have 60fps are ok

@@sylejmanavdullahu8094 if it is a laptop you get what you have,but id it's a pc you could run a cheap 10gen nvidia and you are good. A 1060 would get you 90-100fps without the improvements of the guide.

@@laevan228 I'm using the same CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600. Trying to enable 6 cores only via batch shortcut doesn't work.. I can see the launcher using 6 cores but when I press start, BlackDesert64.exe is using all 12 cores. Any workaround? @smokearrow5785

@@gorkembaran6770 yes, try it. Won't hurt. You should have enough capacity to run optimization settings in the game, just make sure you use the tool for memory leakage or you will end up with lots of stutters

@@SweetDreamsLB I see its a 8cores, 4p and 4e cores cpu with hyperthreading. Try these cpu masks and test the performance and choose for your self.
Masks: AA, FF.
AA-Enable 1 thread per performance core, 4 total, simulates no hyperthreading.
FF - Just disables the e-cores.

@@phazo i see, you are using steam. There is a fix for that. Edit the batch file so it has -steam at the of second row. Try
-steam or -Steam

Yes. Solution in comments. Place - steam after the end of second line for the launcher batch file.
