Thanks for the review. How is the wind insulation at freeway speeds and is it quiet or noisy like the baleno is noisy after 110km/h. Also at what speed does it start to get noisy engine wise? Does it feel like a taller baleno? I'm happy with baleno drive around town but at 120km it starts to feel little shaky.. Hope this one is more planted.. I'm considering the suzuki vitara
I saw this in actual & it looks great. Much better than the Honda HRV & Nissan Kicks.
My only criticism is the display audio. It looks very bulky & distracting on the dashboard. The Mazda models have very sleek display audios inspite being located on top of the dashboard. And the Nissan Kicks display audio looks more compact & built-in. But overall, the Urban Cruiser is a winner.

One thing I totally hate about Toyota SA is the exclusion of sunroof 😭😭😭💔 can you find out why is that
Bruh and that's a deal breaker for me No Sunroof am not buying the car. I went for Haval instead was looking into the Corrola Cross Sport but dololo sunroof ended up going for the Jolion S
Toyota overseas offer sunroof and much more features at the same price. Toyota SA are ripping us off.

I loved so much the 1st 2009 generation based on the Scion xD, that was very unique style, but I don't mind this One, probably hundred times Better than the ugliest Yaris Cross
Lol, we also had a similar bottle-neck bridge in JHB bro. It was on the M17 (Crownwood road) it traverses the crown mines and goes underneath the Soweto highway, near to Booysens reserve. Cool review😅

As a @toyota urban cruiser owner, I'm not convinced into changing to this one.
Firstly the fact that this one still comes with the fabric seats is a no go. Secondly, the infotainment is still basic, only thing they did was just lift the screen. No wireless charging, still manual seat adjusting. Aghhh no man.
I'd rather sit it out and pay it off and have a fully paid off car, then get me a fortuner instead in a couple of years.

Hi, May I ask what's the fuel consumption on your Urban cruiser. I get 9l/100km on my Automatic and I drive pretty normal. Its alot higher then 6.2 claimed
@@kafking3658 I think the 6.2l is a marketing strategy unless driving 60km/hr. I get 9.9l/100km.

Honestly speaking, this is an awesome car, whether Suzuki or Toyota. I am confused on which one to like more in terms of aesthetics because when I saw it first with Suzuki, I immediately loved, but then Toyota's front design is sleak, while Suzuki looks robust and aggressive.
The toyata smokes the Suzuki looks wise hands down.
A diesel 1.5 would be great

They dont try to make an exciting car that will have a mass appeal, and it works

The Urban Cruiser, has a better exterior and the Grand Vitara has better features and interior. But the engine is a no no for me. Not on such a big car.
The problem is not the engine size, it's the amount of power and torque. They should have increased the power and torque slightly, because as is, it feels like it's dragging its weight all over and that's a bad thing.

Its worth it but buy the suzuki version,(grand vitarra) its literally the same car but cheaper with more features plus doesn’t have the toyota badge on it so less chances of being hijacked.
