Interesting! I always assumed that some of the TCP/IP code was left in the game from the original closed beta and alpha builds. I wonder how much more work it would take to re-enable lobbies? With something like this we're one step closer to an "open bnet" style I would imagine.
Sad that Blizzard didnt make Mod Servers that is managed by Blizzard and owner can only deploy files to them to update. So mods could be paid and 50/50 share

Somewhere it said ", if you have online characters, they will load here" but when i first loaded up remodded, there was nothing there..💀😢 I've had a lot of fun with the new druid skills but ive just always enjoyed online more. Feels more alive and it feels better to have people to chat with. When you've played the game off and on for 25 years, the single player feels dead and boring by yourself lol. Especially when you don't game anymore really. Playing for some escapism and mrllammasc said it was really good so i wanted to check it out. It's great. Will there eventually be more skills? Or do more open in hell diff or something? 🤔
I don't like modded versions of Diablo where characters are usually boosted with double inventory, etc. Will I be able to play TCP/IP with the official Diablo 2 Resurrected version?
Unless someone ports it to the current client (highly unlikely due to antidebugging/CRC in place) you won’t be able to play TCP/IP with the up to date/official client, no. You can use this client to play TCP/IP without mods though, you’ll just be missing 2.5+ features like Terror Zones and sunder charms until (if) they are backported which will be a lot of work.
why? it's so much better that way. they limit your ability to carry too many charms with "charm weight" where if you carry to many it 0's out your mana. it's smart. so you can pick up more weapons and shit but it's not like you're going to be holding onto all of those anyway.
@@attractivegd9531 The debug build (not the mod) that contains TCP/IP is a 2.4 version, Blizz accidentally leaked it around a year and a half ago. It doesn’t have sunders or the newer runewords like Mosaic or Metamorphosis.

I haven't played remodded but this looks very promising - Would be amazing to get proper modded/ emulated servers (hopefully in future)

It would be really neat to have some sort of game browser with information. That way, it would be sort of similar to the d2r lobby?
