These guys are no joke live. Just brilliant musicianship to recreate such classical tunes like this. Saw them yesterday and if not for Pantera, they would've been the best band that day.
When i first saw these guys, I thought it was a bit of a joke. They they started playing...... wow. Brilliant musicians and you can't help but smile when you listen to them.
Hang on - the bass player changed from Double Bass to electric bass around 4.04 secs without going into a telephone box like Superman! This cover is, without doubt, the best I've ever witnessed either live or live recorded.
come on guys your really showing off now..... multi talented , and always a twist in the videos, absolutely brilliant, cant wait for the next scenario......
The cameraman is excellent - moves around to all and does it well. I love the humour - the solo guitarist in the background swapping his tennis racquet for a guitar!
Upright to electric bass, Banjo to Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Guitar to Bongo Drums, Tennis Racquet to Electric Guitar humour in the background - Steve 'N' Seagulls are, without doubt, the best cover band out there and now one of best backing bands for guest artists with 'Seagulls Nest'. Awesome.
I'm a fan of the show Supernatural & Because of that...My love for this song compels me to welcome & appreciate all Renditions of it...And I gotta Tell ya...This version truly stands out! Cheers!!!
Every song they spin is like the song being born again. I loved every song they transform before they transformed it and their transformation or modification or rendition, version, copy, or cover of the songs I’ve heard are shockingly pleasing to hear. I love my music from my soul but my ears and mind are big fans too. These guys make me smile every time I hear them and their common themed videos where they get silently introduced and the accordionist always arrives last with a sheepdog on his head. I’d like to hang out with these dudes but I’m way too lame. Major props man, I love your glove because it feels so good. Keep that shit up! Cheers🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Man, I think this is the most highly produced video I've seen yet. Any nothing less than the best on the music end. You guys are something else... Love it.
This is beyond words. "Great" isn't even in the same zip code as this. It's the ultimate version of this song. All thumbs up, I'm really sorry that I only have two of them. 👍👍
On seeing this video the members of Kansas simultaneously hand heel slammed their foreheads saying: "Accordion! That was the instrument we were trying to think of to add."
Most southern American band = Skynyrd This style would be considered more Appalachian than southern and yes there is a difference Edit: this isn't even Appalachian. Not sure what this is
Great job guys. Love your versions of classic songs 🎵. I enjoy the down home back wood locations as well. My family name is traced back to Norway. And I live in a small country town in Illinois USA. BE SAFE, BE WELL, & ROCK ON!!
I just found you guys on You Tube. I absolutely love your videos! I have never & probably won't in future subscribe to anything else, but I just had to here. Gotta love a bunch of comedians who decide to be very talented musicians & knocked it outa' the park! You shook me all night long about had me fallin' off my bar stool!
Ending is my favorite part of the original and you guys created something equally glorious. Definitely gonna find its way into a nice spot on my playlist.
@EATSLEEPDRIVE2002 Like watching the EEL'S play live. If any band could pull of what the EEL'S do live, this would be the band to do it. Would love to see them cover some EEL'S songs for sure.
These guys are no joke live. Just brilliant musicianship to recreate such classical tunes like this. Saw them yesterday and if not for Pantera, they would've been the best band that day.
When the world needed them the most
they returned
I can't believe no one replied to your comment.
Can I have your Babies?
I Lve You!

MusicMaster Ah yes internet babies my favorite
When i first saw these guys, I thought it was a bit of a joke.
They they started playing...... wow.
Brilliant musicians and you can't help but smile when you listen to them.
Amazing musicians and they make me smile and crack up! win, win, win!
These guys are not just funny but extremely talented. This not an easy song, few bands can do it justice and they're doing it live!
Hang on - the bass player changed from Double Bass to electric bass around 4.04 secs without going into a telephone box like Superman! This cover is, without doubt, the best I've ever witnessed either live or live recorded.
You can see the strap on him while he is playing the double, and just see him start to turn the double on the switch. Nice catch.!!
And the accordion player is doing the bongos too. and at least three of them on the vocals. Pretty unique anyway. I like it.
Yep and the lead singer swapped from acoustic guitar to Mandokn
☆Not a fan of Gwar, but they did a good cover of this song also...
A very talented group, and we hope to hear much more from them in the future. Rock on, Seagulls.
come on guys your really showing off now..... multi talented , and always a twist in the videos, absolutely brilliant, cant wait for the next scenario......

I love the humour - the solo guitarist in the background swapping his tennis racquet for a guitar!
Flying the Swedish colours... hah Loved it. Only waited him to switch back to his racket, like "nah, not my thing really".
And Dressed like "Steve Walsh" back in the day! Priceless humor with phenomenal musicianship!
That solo guitarist is actually one of the most prominent guitarists in Finland nowadays, Timo Kämäräinen.
Absolutely fantastic,
love the moment when the guy in the back, swaps the racket for the super mega ukulele
One of my favorite song and I didn't know i would love it with a polka beat! Y'all are awesome.
MAAAAAN! That polka rhythm is freakin' INFECTIOUS!
Accordian magic!
That's how Finland works ;)
As someone who lives in Kansas, I approve of this rendition.
there is hope for you yet.
As another individual who also lives in Kansas, I too give it my approval. Well done!
These fellas would fit right in Winfield Kansas... about the 3rd week in September. Walnut Valley Flatpicking Championship!
I love thier unique blend of humor and talent
This was great. And it's not often you'll see the rare upright to electric bass magic act.
Not mention the banjo to acoustic guitar trick..
@Jillian Clennell this had me doing several double takes
Upright to electric bass, Banjo to Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Guitar to Bongo Drums, Tennis Racquet to Electric Guitar humour in the background - Steve 'N' Seagulls are, without doubt, the best cover band out there and now one of best backing bands for guest artists with 'Seagulls Nest'. Awesome.
When i first heard Kansas play this, they blew me away, BUT, these guys took it to a new level and blew me even higher.
Magnificent!! Those blue shorts though...they're gonna end up with their own fan club!
WOW…very very cool indeed. These are a bunch of super great musicians…And they are having tons of fun…..! Loved It…!

I’m 64 years old and I love this !!! Heck Yes.
I play the accordion and love seeing it played in this capacity.
That was magical! I love the the guy playing with the electric in the background and the bass switch. Nice touches!
No one will ever top the anvil playing
Music doesn’t get more metal than that!
Would say it needs more cowbell, but it's got that too
that's up next, :)
Anvil playing is just epic!
He'll yea!
geez, you guys are awesome.
Love their music! The first one I saw was Nothing Else Matters. Been hooked ever since!
Love that the singer is ballancing the songs according to his voice capabilities and not trying to immitate.
the mark of a good musician and player. do what you do the way you do it and make it yours!
These guys rock 1st video I watched was thunderstruck I was hooked after that
Same
Same same
Yep banjo pickin was awesome
These guys blow the doors off of ‘70s sludge with pure talent.
You're the best Finish export product since...yeah, since what???

woah there. its really good but it does NOT improve on the original. no one can.

This is an amazing switch that I almost didn't notice!!!
Yes! I but I did notice. And think I like it better with the banjo!
@@wordsofhis1799 I'm not talking about the banjo🤔
On seeing this video the members of Kansas simultaneously hand heel slammed their foreheads saying: "Accordion! That was the instrument we were trying to think of to add."
Unpopular opinion: the accordion is basically just a one-person, lap organ.
@@lev7509 Because most organs are two person or something?
"Needs more accordion...."
@@justforever96 Heheh, no, I just meant that it's not giant. ^w^`
Brilliant arrangement and musicianship!
I want to know that is at least one person in Greece that loves you guys
Steve'n Seagulls FOREVER!!!
I'm a metal guy but this band is amazing! Love it
Good music is Good music , regardless the flavor.
Addictive, melodic and entertaining all rolled up into a short shorts bundle.
It fuckin rocked didn't it.
It's always a treat watching these guys spinning their style on great classics.
It's absolutely wild that the most southern american band ever is actually from Finland
Ran across them several years ago, just love them!
Most southern American band = Skynyrd
This style would be considered more Appalachian than southern and yes there is a difference
Edit: this isn't even Appalachian. Not sure what this is
@@jamestate5059 agreed
Hmmm a cover band ? While they are awesome they are covering songs by some of the great American southern rock bands. You are confused.
They ha me with Thunderstruck
Great job guys. Love your versions of classic songs 🎵. I enjoy the down home back wood locations as well. My family name is traced back to Norway. And I live in a small country town in Illinois USA. BE SAFE, BE WELL, & ROCK ON!!

Seriously asking, would like to book you for my wedding how do I contact you guys???
These Finns are wonderful!! I'm a fan now.
very inventive approach to this tune
Finland finally got electric guitars!
And it may be, Seagulls have given a bit idyllic idea of Finland.
Wish it was still like in their videos. Good old times.
Before that they just had air guitars!
@@bige1106 And many, many kanteles.
Bonkers and brilliant as usual!
It's amazing!!! Super! Very beautiful!
I didn't know how much I needed that until just now.
This is my favorite version of this song and I'm typing this without having finished watching it.

The accordion player is a poet. Truly.
