My brother, my son and I saw Kansas in concert in Feb 2020, right before Covid hit. My brother passed in April 2020 and my last memory is singing along at this concert with him after 4 decades of sharing a love of Kansas. Carry on, my dear brother, carry on.

I gave up trying to figure out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Every year the inductees include a band from the 60s that should have been in the Hall since the 80s, another band that formed 3 years ago, and a third band that's not even Rock adjacent.

My dad and I used to scream this song in the car whenever he played it, which was all the time. That was when I was a kid. I'm now a young adult and I blast it in the car when I'm driving by myself. Love and miss you dad, RIP.

I went to a concert in Wisconsin randomly in 2006 with Kansas, Loverboy, & Joan Jett. I didn’t know anything about this band, but they closed down the show with this song and it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Randomly years later my best friend introduced me to a show called Supernatural…so now this song is ingrained in my head forever.

I lost my brother to suicide this weekend. As I was driving today, this came on the radio. I had to take deep breaths to keep the tears streaming down my face from blurring my vision to make it safely to my destination.

As a child I thought this song was boring, as I got older and started to understand and appreciate music more, I realized this song is a masterpiece.
I get it. It's one of my father's favorites and he played it all the time as I was growing up. At the time it wasn't high on my list. But yes this is IS a masterpiece. Takes growing up and living life to know.
