I'm basing just slightly North of your #4 pick. Right by that little lake. I like it. Has a nice peninsula right by it where I have my fishing hut and a hangout area with benches and firepit. Had to do a bit of clearing for the farm fields and orchard. But not bad.
My favorite building site was not on your list. If you go west and a little south of the waterfall site, up the cliff and across the road you come to a wide valley with a snake-like river winding through it. It is patrolled by Wisent to the south and wolves to the north, but with a well placed "road" you can end their threat. In my build I started with a house and storage shed in front of the mine at the waterfall, planted a simple garden with the seeds I picked up in my survey of the map and hunted--killing both wolves, believe it or not! The wisent, not so much. The land is flat and easy to put farm fields in between the river's twists. The problem with the site is that trees are few and far between in the village site, but I solved that by buying and planting fruit trees around the village to add some interest. AND Ostoya is just over the ridge to the west! You need to travel a bit for wood, but with a woodshed as my first build and a 3* lumberjack as my hire wood was less of a problem. Not for everyone, but as you said, the most fun builds are the most challenging! Great video--like always.
What about the island just north of the swamp? That's the best place on the entire map to build, right across the lake is a cave and on the other side is a lot of trees and even more wide open space There is also a bandit camp that spawns up in that same area you're currently building your village in.

Yeah, that whole area is pretty and convenient. Can you at least see the huge rock from your village?

The mountains are cool too! It might be a pain to sell stuff to vendors in the beginning of the game though, as it's far away from Piastovia.
Yeah, I always try to build relatively near at least one town, so you can fast travel around if you need to.
Easy solution, place a resource storage near piastovia.

I've built my village up by number 3 but won't by the cave and beach i was going to bulid on the island but i didnt
I’ve built a village on that beach, and eventually built a very long bridge over to the island and expanded out there. Nice spot! 🙂👌🏻
