Thanks much guys. I dissembled my rucksack to wash it a couple of years ago , and was lost trying to get it back together. Then recently my truck broke down, so this old man has to engage in major expeditions, like buying groceries, on foot. 60 pounds of groceries are no fun for a 60 year old man without a pack! Video was well done. Explained clearly. I Just had to pause few times, but within 10 minutes, at a leisurely pace, I was set up. Now, if you can do a nice video on changing out the heads on an old Dodge pickup, maybe I can take the pack out in the boonies and load it up with something besides chicken quarters and dish detergent soon!
I was about to say that, in the Army, it takes two guys to build a pack; Then the third guy started helping. Thanks for the vid though, it was exactly what I needed to figure this stuff out.
Excellent ..instructions were done at the right tempo. Anyone need a ACU Molle Mediumruck shoulder straps go to McGuire Army Navy. Just ordered a set. This is the only company that has them......
When you need to know something, the E-4 Mafia will never let you down. ...unless what you need to know is where that shiny new replacement for the sensitive item that broke yesterday, came from. No matter how badly you want to ask your E-4 where it came from, don't. Because he'll tell you, and then you'll be an accessory after-the-fact. ...or so I've heard.
I’ve been looking everywhere for the “Y” shoulder strap for the Molle II Medium ruck sack ACU. Any tips as to where I can find it? I looked online, eBay, surplus stores. No luck
Great Video, just found the molle II medium rucksack only, new, and picked up a couple. now to find all the missing parts, frame check (just picked up a set), now a question, is the universal shoulder strap usable on this frame? the universal is the one with the square and not the "Y" strap, the "Y" strap for this pack assm is very hard to find.
Brad ...Have to confirm this was a great video. Just found and ordered on 4/25/2020 ACU camo Molle Med. Rucksack straps - Excellent Condition. McGuire Army Navy is the only company I could find that had Medium Straps. Spent 6hrs.
On mine, the frame slips off the waist belt and rubs on my back. Maybe tightening it up will help? I've been wondering if it's possible to use the waist belt from the large ruck instead.
This is a great video as others stated! I too am looking to complete my gear by finding a set of ACU camo Molle Med. Rucksack straps . Seems I cannot find any after hours of searching. Can someone point me to a set or is there a replacement? McGuire Army Navy does not have them....
just tell me one thing..... because... maybe I'm new to "obeying military procedures without thinking".... what is the purpose of squeezing shoulder straps through this wide large "loop" instead of doing it with shoulder strap bands ? Sorry, but WTF in this particular point ?
This is NOT the proper way to assemble this pack. Yin's intsalled the kidney strap incorrectly. Kidney strap sits in a few inches deeper with proper method.

I’ve been looking everywhere for the “Y” shoulder strap for the Molle II Medium ruck sack ACU. Any tips as to where I can find it? I looked online, eBay, surplus stores. No luck
Hmmm I really don't know to be honest with you.

The universal strap is helpful but most people that I know of don't use it though but it would hurt to try. Let me know how it works for you..

@@markzolton9279 Thank you for the update and providing this information
Thanks gents. Going from the large to medium ruck and i had no fucking clue how this one worked. Preciate you

Tightening it up will help it out definitely.
I'm 5'7, how do you adjust the straps so they don't dig in your shoulders and put more wait toward the hip?
I can only tell you to adjust as you see fit honestly. I really can't of another way.
Is there anyway to attach the MOLLE II Enhanced Shoulder Straps to the medium rucksack?
As of now I don't know but if you find out please let me know and share it with us. Thank you.

@FNGSaker try eBay are surplus stores
Thank u
You're welcome.
Will the Tactical Tailor rucksack straps work to?
Sorry but I haven't heard of that before
Is there a way to raise it so it’s higher up on your back
As far I know I don't think so.
For the shoulder straps, can you just slide it in from the top?
Yes from my understanding you should be able to.
stukie101 I love this rucksack, so much better than the assault one, couldn’t fit worth a damn in there! We’re you in the service, sir?
@@khanglo6326 me to. I'm still in and enjoying it
Makes more sense to me to slide them in from the top. Why fight with folding straps and buckles?
Can someone give me the number for the shoulder straps, they are very hard to find.
unfortunately i do not have it at this time.
HOW CAN I GET THE SHOULDER STRAPS???
Try one of the militaryclothing stores outside of post and see I'd they have one. If not ebay or some online stores will be your last resort.
Where can I find the Y straps?
Last time I checked I saw some on Ebay but that was a while back though.
@@Stukie101 thanks

More sturdier support, and it's by choice. You may do it your way.
This is NOT the proper way to assemble this pack. Yin's intsalled the kidney strap incorrectly. Kidney strap sits in a few inches deeper with proper method.
Okay, thanks for the comment.
@@Stukie101 Do you have the manual for this pack? I can't really explain it in text. I'll make a vid with mine.
@koba_Lyle Unfortunately, I don't because I retired last year after 20 years, and the video is 5 or 6 years old.
