The best decision you can take right now is getting a MacBook air m1 with 16GB RAM and 512 GB ROM... I got mine today and TBH nothing compares to the performance and in-hand feel. You can also get M2 MacBook air at the same price but you will have to compromise either on storage or RAM or if you have 20K or 18K in case of a student discount then please go for it. I got mine for 1Lac 26K with free gen 2 AirPods.

using it since 2021 June, would suggest developers to go for 16GB model, i'm suffering now due to ram issues hanging
@@aryankumar87771 I didn't notice any such issue. When the RAM gets filled up, the swap is used. But mac will make sure that there's no lag.
@@zeeshantaj55 You won't notice it right now since it's new...mine ran very smooth for 6 months....If you do heavy usage after 6-8 months then it hangs if you go above a threshold...like mine hangs when having 10+ chrome tabs and multiple local host servers and 2-3 applications running simultaneously etc. then i have to close down chrome to make it smooth again
There's no lag in my 8gb variant. I love the machine.

Base variant 2020 MacBook is also good, you can get it in just 65k+ for now. I've been using mine since 1 year and it's perfectly good for coding etc

i have a better alternative instead of going for samsung t7 which gives 1000Mbps transfer speed one can buy a m.2 nvme and buy a m.2 nvme (ssd) enclosure and use it externally it gives upto 3000Mbps transfer speed which is a massive difference and also u can save upto 200rs doing that

Yes it is considerable but not that much because many things other than glare screen are much more important.... Don't think it as a major factor while buying a laptop... If it is present then it is a cherry on top....
