NFS has the most realistic environment, Project CARS or Driveclub has the most realistic cars, Driveclub has the most realistic rainy cockpit view, CARS has the most realistic damage system, and The Crew has a participation award.
The Crew has the best open-world in a car game ever. The scale of the big cities is unprecedented. You can also get muuch more rain/variation in weather than showed in this video.
The Crew and Forza are not more realistic than Driveclub or Project Cars because Driveclub has the best rainy weather than The Crew and I agree it has an open world but what we like is good cars, sounds, and graphics and maybe an open world but it is not the first thing someone thinks when they talk about a game.

+xX DraxMon Xx Speak for yourself; a game like Gran Turismo, Forza, and Driveclub (though I always play thru them anyways) become boring and repetitive quickly. Need for Speed is too arcadey in general, but still fun at times. Games like Forza Horizon and The Crew have a fun factor that those other titles just can't match... and the Crew is unique with it's "small scale US".
The Crew doesn't win anything in graphics, but thats because it has such a huge draw distance. Unlike other games (let's use Driveclub as an example), it is actually drawing the stuff that is far away, whereas Driveclub just puts up a "far away" texture bubble that rotates around you as you turn. Way easier to animate and allows them to concentrate resources on what is directly around you.

Need for Speed: where every car sounds like a Honda.
True for the new one. But from Hot Pursuit to Rivals it had the moat realistic car sounds of any game, especially on V10 and V12 cars. The murcielago SV in hot pursuit was waaay to real! And the Pagani Cinque (rare cars that ive seen irl). And the F12 from rivals, great sound. I dunno why they messed up with the new one. OH and the crew has the same sound for 4-5 cars, it shows how bored they were to add new sounds. Project Cars, great sounds, not realistic. Im a pc gamer,so i never played driveclub. Sounds nice tho.

- Best lens flares (just look at them...)
- Most realistic handling
Driveclub:
- Best lighting engine
- Best weather graphics and physics
- Best audio
- (Basically, the best at immersing the player into the game world)
Need for Speed:
- Best visual car customisation
- Prettiest night engine
- Probably the best reflections
There are other racing games such as Forza, FH, TDU, Assetto Corsa and GT that also have elements that are the best of their kind, but I just stuck to the ones in this video.
+Elemental Sheep Why is driveclub the most boring out of them to actually play then when it's supposed to be so immersive? I can't play it for more than 20 mins at a time or i feel like nodding off. Haven't played Need for speed as yet but it looks pretty crap anyway outside of visuals.
DEVILTAZ35 Driveclub doesn't have the greatest gameplay, just great immersion. Looks like they focused on graphics and sound rather than gameplay unfortunately. If they take those two elements and put them in a game that has improved gameplay, expanded car list and revamped menus/career mode, it could be a fantastic game.

Lol what? Typical TH-camr. Just makes shit up. Driveclub had a rough launch simply because their servers couldn't handle the load. That problem was corrected within the first month and they supported the game with updates every month for over a year. Those updates included free cars every month. They have since gone on to sell over two million copies and the game is considered a success by any rational person, including Evolution games (The developer) and Sony, who owns Evolution. But please, show me the quote where the developers said their game is bad. I'd love to see that quote. Lol fucking idiot.

Driveclub is the most entertaining racing game I have ever experienced. I've been playing since the 90s. The sense of speed,the adrenaline, the controls,the visuals, the menus, the challenges, the soundtrack...everything is top notch. Amazing gameplay.

Need for Speed has the best visuals hands down, but no cockpit view or daytime racing. Gameplay wise I have no opinion.

I'd say it's pretty close between Assetto Corsa, Forza 6 and Dirt Rally.
There is that one car in Dirt Rally tho... that hillclimbing Audi... The sound of that puppy is out of this world. The subtle yet perfect BOV sound is Boss.

Imo it fits the game well. However NFS has other flaws.
The series has a broad spectrum of racing games though. From games that go more into the simulation direction to games which are completely arcade. The only thing which makes NFS NFS are licensed cars and focus onto racing.

Driveclub creators spent the whole time on the car looks and not the map or damage or physics. I own all of these games and have played over 100 hours on the top 3 and regret buying driveclub.

Need for Speed 2015 had the best graphics due to the frostbite engine, but they don't use the full potential of the engine...
Frostbite engine is shit for developing car games it was made to develop battlefield and shit like that not for need for speed the developers of nfs said its really hard to code in frosrbite
Driveclub was a beautiful game. All the sim elite master race bs aside, an awesome fun game that suffered an early death due to a poor launch Still play it alongside PC1 and 2, GT Sport, Dirt Rally and Assetto Corsa. Evolution Studios needs to be resurrected and revisit the title.

Thanks for the comparison mate.. I had The Crew and seems like it one of the best.. However Drive club rain experience is extreme and will be fun to play!

I've noticed project cars has a nascar like race engine sound at speed. And drvieclub almost sounds tunnel like. Nfs does do what it's suppose to and feels like i'm hearing someone going through urban streets. I like how environment plays on the engine sounds for the crew.
Drive Club is hands down the best & I’ve loved it since day one & I still play to this day. None of those other games will ever be able to compare, including Gran Turismo Sport.

Good test, apart from the driving in the rain test in the crew. I mean come on, u were in the desert. The rain is much better elsewhere, like the eastcoast n south. But I think Driveclub took the cake in that test anyway, But apart from that, I enjoyed it. Love the RUF.

Project Cars and Drive Club is amazing
All the strengths of these games put TOGETHER would be my dream racing game. Project Cars' level of detail when it comes to tuning along with Need For Speed's gameplay, Driveclub's graphics/physics, and The Crew's huge open world...... perfection!
Always wonder about new games looking like games from 2006 in some places or weather conditions

the crew long run missions cross US .. was fun 1 first time to experience such journeys in a game

NFS is pure arcade, no simulator, so actualy you can't compare them in gameplay and maps, but if it's about graphics only, then NFS is the best in this comparison...

+Rinay Harpal yes but i have played at NFS, the crew wild run and drive club and they are all arcade (for drive club i can understand ) NFS is the most unrealistic but this is not the problem the problem is The gameplay is shity and the map is a joke.
