The crew 2 has become the only non-sim racing game I play. The very fact I can do a 40 minute race is enough to put it on the top of my list. I'm a big fan of endurance racing and finding long, non-sim races when I want to chill was difficult until I found the crew 2.
@@batmangovno cool, to do a lap of Goliath is around 11minutes I think. Collosus is 13 ish. The races don’t get longer than that unless you boot up the lap times, but there’s 6 long distance races that are entirely unique. So even though they aren’t as long as the ones in crew, they are still worth looking at
I don't even think of Forza Horizon 5 as a racing game. It's a driving game. I can play it for days while I do solo challenges, or explore the map, without ever entering a race. Amazing game. I think of Forza Horizon as being structured like an adventure game (with a main quest, side quests, a progression system, etc.). I haven't played the other two yet.
The Crew 2 is the only one for me because of that MASSIVE map. Even if I don't feel like racing, I can just go for a drive and even today I'll still find something new. I haven't explored the entire map yet. It keeps you interested.
Legit... I one day just decided I wanted to drive from JFK airport in NYC to LAX in LA without a hud... Got a bit lost around St Louis and ended up near the Gulf of Mexico... Then I got lost going the other way and climbed the summit of Pikes Peak, and then I found San Francisco and from there on I just drive south with the ocean on my right... took about 2 and a half hours
@@Adrian-tw8un If they decide to change the forza formula a bit for the next game, I want them to do fh6 in Japan with slightly less cars but more detailed customization and maybe cops...
@Siddhanth Mv Yeah that sounds nice but adding cops to the game creates less cars as some manufacturers are against illegal racing. Like FH5 has Toyota that is not present in most of the arcade racers because of cops. For me a big part of the game is manufacturer variety. Not having cops gives that variety.
@@vignasimp2835 It's going to be a different game to Heat since it's handled by a different stuido and we don't know their development style yet. Who knows maybe we're getting a legal racing style game with Codemasters under the EAmpire's banner

@@AverageGameReviews a.k.a the best way. Some make comparisons but being heavily biased I their approach, which is detestable and useless for the general audience
Great comparison. I've yet to play Horizon 5 but I will say that the way The Crew 2 has been supported and updated by the devs over the past few years has been commendable, they've really kept it relevant. Looking forward to booting up Forza on games pass later though 👍🏻
If The Crew 2 just had the handling of Forza and got a graphical update (Like the first game did) and a fps boost to 60 I would put it even higher then FH5. I must say, I love the Forza Horizon series (played all of them), but for me the new one did get old fast. It just didn't really do anything new besides looking amazing and I miss the huge concrete cities. I just wish that at this point it would have more then just cars.
@@AH-lx5nj The 60fps update is coming soon for next gen and a semi graphical update for all platforms. The devs confirmed it's the last upy before they start focusing on the next project. (The Crew 3?)
@@SpxcyMxyo Good news! Graphical update and 60fps has arrived. I'm very satisfied with the graphics update since back then i like to take some ingame photos and when i compare some of my old photos to the new one, it's a huge difference
I love the Crew 2. Just the fact that there is a race across the US and you drive trough New York, Las Vegas and much more makes it so chill and good. Plus boats and planes
One of reasons why forza don't have alot of custom designs is because of its sheer number of cars like abt 500+ while nfs has only 100+ cars which would be easier to put custom body kits etc
Yup, forza and crew2 people won't know the experience of driving 400km/h evading crazy murderous cops at the middle of the night in a tiny ass moutainous road while dodging traffic and racers, and all you pray for is to not have an police truck raming you head-on sending you into jupiter. That's honestly what I loved about nfs heat, it was high octane just made for mofos who love adrenalin, that's why imo some people don't get into it they never reach heat 5 or rely on ramps to escape. It's a shame they stopped supporting heat early on.
Sorry, but the car handling of TC2 is really bad, the cars don't like to turn, at least in Heat cars are fast with drifiting. The map, omg, it's big, but it's really ugly and has a lot of reused assets, FH1 map is way more interesting. And even the FH4 car sounds are better than TC2.
I like that they are all different because if we had just one “perfect game” we will get bored so fast with no alternatives. I don’t always want to play an arcade racer and I don’t always want to play a simcade racer so it’s best that they are all different with their own styles. When you can afford to buy all of them you don’t have to pick just one. It solely depends on the mood.
NFS highlights the awesomeness of the car scene: crazy visual customization, engine swaps, running from the law, which is why there aren't a lot of cars, its meant to be ONLY the cool stuff. FH5 adds realism without sacrificing any fun: driving tight and properly braking is key to winning, when customizing you consider car weight, aerodynamics, all that car junkie good stuff. The Crew 2 is essentially a giant sandbox with a good bit of everything: good car customization, good sounds, good visuals, and there's always something to do, just ignore the driving physics and ur good. FH5's visual customization is nowhere near Heat or The Crew 2 tho, something to keep in mind
I've played both The Crew 2 and Forza Horizon 5, and I had way more fun with The Crew 2. The map in The Crew 2 is much bigger and more exciting to explore compared to Forza's map. Forza Horizon 5 also feels empty sometimes, it could really use pedestrians and more NPC drivers. Right now, it feels like you're the last survivor of a nuclear wasteland
Idk about the other two but FH5 has insane sounds, and sound changes depending on your camera place like inside the car, on the hood, the sound even changes if you installed a turbo or had a supercharger, with lots of other variables as well..... And OMG you won't believe how realistic the sounds are, as a member of the car this game is like an asmr.

*the crew 2* : huge map with 40 min races + B O A T and planes *NFS heat* : a lot of visual customisability and great style *FH5* : you can turn a gt racer in to an offroad monster
crew: huge map with cardboard physics and some sort of whack progression, also useseles boat and meh planes heat: police in miami and the big drift forza: basicaly fuel but in 2021
Honestly I think that the only reason that crew 2 is even in the conversation is because of the map size. But I would honestly prefer quality over quantity, Forza 5 has races everywhere on the map, things like do and fast travel boards and skills like speed traps, drift zones etc. All over the map so every road feels important. 75% of the roads in the crew 2 are barely/never even used. And the races are tens of kilometres away from each other. And imo the Forza and NFS worlds actually look good. The crew 2 could honestly pass as a remastered version of a ps3 or Xbox 360 game with the bad world graphics. TLDR, if I want a more arcade/sim game I would play Forza, if I want to play an arcade racing game I would play nfs, so for me the crew 2 doesn’t have a place
There are several other reasons aswell - TC2 has a significantly larger collection of cars for players to choose from, it has a massive range of visual customizations on every vehicle (FH5 has absolutely none), and the long, endurance-style races are a lot more fun. From what I can tell, the €60 (or whatever the price is where you live) price tag on FH5 is only there because of the visuals - I, personally, didn't find anything special about it that would warrant a price tag that high.
You clearly never played the crew, since you can teleport to almost any place of the map for free and instantly (unless you have a potato) So no, it doesn't take long at all to go through the map.
@@anthoneco2789 that’s literally not what I said at all, I was saying that the crews map is big for no reason, and half of it is useless because there are no events or areas to do things. It’s just plain grass or sand etc. I said that I’d rather have a smaller map that’s more dense and every area actually means something, than a bigger map that doesn’t look or feel as good just for the point of being bigger. And what’s the point of having a big map when you have to teleport everywhere?
Haven't played FH5 yet, but I loved palm city and how fun it was to drive there. I just roamed around a lot and remember a lot of places for how unique they were.
Driving physics and handling is also a big part of these 3 games, as forzas physics are absolutely miles ahead in terms of realism and driving feel, whereas the crew and nfs have very arcade like driving and is not nice at all to use
Dude really thinks forza has a realistic physics, LMAO Go play beamNG or Asetto corsa, those are realistic games All the 3 above are extremelly arcade.
@@anthoneco2789 yes beamng and Asetto corsa has better driving physics, because you are comparing sim games to arcades, games like Asetto are made purely for driving physics, while fh5, the crew, and nfs are Arcade games, it’s a Huge difference as they are all meant to be playable on controller, and graphics, map size, and customization are big factors in Arcade games where as in sim games they focus souly on driving mechanics etc. therefor you can’t compare Arcade games to simulator games
@@anthoneco2789 I totaly agree, fh5 is not realistic at all, but when you compare fh5 to nfs and the crew, it’s not alot more realistic, but the handling feels better than in nfs and the crew, but it is not realistic what so ever, it’s not meant to feel realistic either as it is an Arcade open world racer
You forgot that in the Crew 2 you have Pro Settings which lets you customize the performance and handling. It shows up at the bottom when you're in the performance section of a car. Other than that, an amazing, objective video 👍
There is nothing like the thrill and sense of speed that NFS:H provides. Even though it feels far more arcade-y than Forza, I just love the progression system and how it rewards you for the risks and races your take.
Can´t agree more. In FH 5 I got quickly bored of tippy toeing at the "sweet spot speed". In NFS just hit the gas to the floor, add some nitroes and rush into the corner, slide the corner, regain balance and repeat. Nice rush and chilling after hard day at work. And I must say the reflections even in NFS13 are superior to FH5, I can´t notice any passing cars or object reflected on the car in FH@max settings. Whilst in NFS the cars, bridges, sun shine so nicely on the car and puddles. Overall the lighting looks more "alive" in NFS series, whilst in FH it feels so "dry".
I think you're forgetting an important one. Burnout paradise. The map isn't as big or varied, but the map has so many secret areas and a lot of verticality. Just in the city alone there are so many secret tunnels and ramps that can take you up to the roofs of buildings. There is a massive quarry, an abandoned runway and a figure of 8 race track. The game rewards exploration and the activities are all really run. Burnout paradise has more than just racing, with stunt activities, activities where you have to destroy other racers, and even a mode where you launch you car at traffic for a high destruction score. Also you can compete with friends to see who can get from 1 side of the road to the other the fastest possible, you don't even have to be playing online for that. In my opinion, the car handling is the perfect cross between arcade and realistic, not leaning to much either way. And I have never had a better sense of speed in a game as I have with Burnout paradise. Also the soundtrack is great. But if you like to customise your case, you will be disappointed because you can do is paint them. But it's not bad for a game that came out in 2008. I recommend Burnout Paradise remastered on all modern consoles and pc, it should be really cheap by now and it's always on sale
Agreed, that game was my first racing game (i still have it somewhere on my PC), the sound of the cars, the soundtrack, the sense of speed and most important you can choose whichever way you like to get from point A to B while racing (my favourite feature). There's also a bike mode where you can ride bike.
as with any Crew 2 gamer, I stopped for a while. recently coming back crew 2 is the best. the variety of cars far outplays Forza. the crew is also decent on the wheel while Forza is rendered unplayable on the wheel given the crazy force feedback. i have found what i missed.
The problem with Forza is that it's been so watered down and sterilized over the years. It doesn't have a proper storyline or progression anymore and feels like you are just driving around and randomly doing races. It starts getting old really quick
It would benefit from more story/narrative element to draw out early game progression. Personally, I think wheelspins ruin the game more than anything else! Completely defeats the object of making money and progressing from slower cars...almost everyone will end up with a supercar after mere hours of playing!
Got Heat and Crew 2. Both amazing games and tbh you can get some amazing pictures in the Crew 2 which can be edited to be close to real life but not as much you could in FH5. Thus the game itself offers you a lot options and fun to deal with. NFS Heat keeps you entertained if you want some high speed chases with brutal cops and crown vic's going almost as fast as your Regera lol. I have played FH4 for 2 months cos I got gamepass but it ran out so I didn't play after that rly. I do play FM7 still but I may buy FH5 but 1st I wanna get a better CPU cos it is bottlenecked by my RTX 2060
I think that you forgot to mention TDU. I know that it's an old game, but it's still a good reference and for it's time it set a high-bar for next gen open world racing games. TDU still has a lot a features that new games like NFS, Forza and the Crew does not have. I would love to see that TDU gets the appraisal that it needs, especially that the next one it's coming next year !
For me it's nfs heat for many reasons. 1 I am a person who adores the underground street race vibe and the vibe is something I can't get in tc2 or f5. 2 The customization in nfs heat for me is awesome since I don't really care about the specific tuning, realistic spolier downforce, and whatnot. I would much reather prefer the vast and deep customization of nfs heat
Personally I like to play the crew, with the live summits, and multiplayer experience, I just prefer the crew, but Forza and NFS are good, just not the best to me!
@@J.PC.Designs After playing FH5 it engine sounds are very ok but nfs imo sounds i think a lot more peppy (and i get one is Sim & other is Arcade) and i did mention better online for Forza well i was very wrong there.
IMAGINE A COMBINATION OF THEM The Crew 2's Map size, being a scaled down copy of a real place, with its diversity of vehicles and classes, Horizon 5's graphics and cars and details in the world, NFS Heat's focus on street racing and police There are probably countless reasons why it wouldnt work tho lmao
@@alexhnatiak5138 more sim. car tuning sure, but the handling will be a turn off for many people. keep that purely in the sim side of things, and have those tuning options available.
I played two of these, and I say that the TC, and FH are both really fun games. I first started on the TC, but when I was trying to tune my Ferrari aiming for a top 100 run in TC2, I discovered FH4 which gotten me into tuning vehicles. Now I have FH5, and I enjoy it. The TC (I recommend to play the first one, yes, it's old, but in my opinion [and mabye nostalgia] its better because it had a gritty feel, and police chases) is very fun series, and TC2 us fun and diverse, but it's graphics is it major downfall. The FH series is super fun, especially for people like me who at getting into the nitty gritty details of building and tuning of cars.
@@account-we6pd The original crew is amazing the crew 2 is trying to be something that it shouldn’t be. They should of made a game in a similar style to the first crew. But after all this is just my opinion and it has no facts to it so make of it what you want.
@@kirkoid1530 I hated the crew 1. I thought the story was shit and the car handling was awful. There were some missions that were nearly impossible even with the fastest cars, purely due to how little time you were given
I think that the crew's huge map counts a lot. It has sooo many places to explore using the appropriate vehicle to keep driving in dessert, forests, lakes-rivers and street. I've played FH5, NFSH and of course crew 2, and I feel like crew is just the best option
The crew 2 map is absolutely incredible but my problem with the game is how arcade the driving is I wish we could have the same map but more realistic driving
I've played those 3 games and I'd say that heat's gameplay ain't that bad, has decent graphics and physics. Tc2's map is awesome, great for exploring various places and also great for playing with friends, the way the devs update their game makes the game alive but the downside of it is the graphics, it isn't as good as heat and horizon 5. Fh5 has a really great graphics but has difficult car handling, the only way to build your car to your liking to increase performance is to know all the aspects of the tuning system, which makes it difficult to get the hang of, also the gameplay and map is great too, the map is bigger than heat's map but not as big as tc2's map. To summarize, all 3 of them are great imo but has their own differences. 😊
FH5 cars handling isn't even hard. It's just got more realistic physics. You can't just do like NFS and sling your car around a 90 degree turn going 180 mph, you have to use brakes.
@@Devilish_Glim why tf did u pay 90 bucks for it Payed $60 and is easily one of my best decisions, one of the only games I can constantly come back to, even if it is a dead game
I know it’s not on the video but my baby is TDU2. It will always have a part in me for being my favorite open world racing game with the dealerships, unique houses, trails, the landscape, traveling to islands, casino, and I can go on. I haven’t been able to find a game that can top the variety and options that TDU2 had. But for modern day, it would be Forza. The closest I can get to that old feeling I miss.
I have a Thrustmaster T248 racing wheel and on PC I have Forza Horizon 5. On PS5 I have Dirt 5, Wreckfest and just purchased WRC 7 and Vrally 4 on sale because they are super cheap right now (WRC7 for less than £3? Why not). I am waiting for Need For Speed Heat, The Crew 2 and GT7 (cough) to go on sale to complete my initial lineup.
I'd rather have less cars with more detail and options than 400+ ported cars. Horizon is good, but due to the sheer number of cars the customisation is limited and the game suffers in many areas as a result.
Crew 2 for me. Just better man just omg. The crew 2 looks like plastic agree. But man the cars the planes boats monster truck and demolition derbys. This is better than fh5 or nfs. I dont mean everyone should just go but tc2 but if you are intrested on not getting bored for 3 years straight. Go for tc2. If you just like realism. Go for fh5. If you like intense battles and races. Go for nfs. Overall tc2 is my fav. Played for 3 years still races and new skills and discpline not unlocked man this game is so good. I bought fh5 and nfs on pc and i thought this is better than tc2. So decided to quit tc2. Got bored in like 5 months. So played tc2 and its so refreshing. Try tc2. You will not regret.

I haven't played NFS, but I have both The Crew 2 and FH5 and I think this is spot on. Something to add though, I fee like the driving mechanics in FH5 are lightyears ahead of the Crew 2. While the driving mechanics in The Crew 2 are better than other Ubisoft games, I still find it a bit clunky or arcadey. This is just my opinion though
The best game for each category in my opinion are Graphics: FH5 Map: Crew 2 Gameplay: FH5 Online and Cross platform: FH5 Car selection: FH5 Visual customization: NFS heat Performance customization: FH5 Sound: Crew 2 The great thing about having 3 different AAA racing game franchises is that there usually isn't anything that all of them combined are missing, and you can just choose which one has the most of what you like
Forza for grindy casino style car getting and progression Heat for big speeds big drifts and police with car customization Crew for disapointment and depression
Honestly I love all 3 of these games as I like all aspects of racing, I've played NFS heat lots and tbh it's my favourite out of the 3 because I prefer cop and underground racing. Forza is good because of the map to me but I hate the handling and that there isn't a lot of customisation but it has so so many cars. The crew 2 I would like to play as it's such a big game with lots of cars and more than just car racing. Overall All 3 games have something unique which makes them all amazing and I don't think there is a best
objectively fh5 can be considered the best out of the trio in many scenarios, graphics, handling as compared to real life. Things like underground and cop racing are more to preference, but I get you.
@@casmithh Currently on PS5 and I like customizing cars, Forza is great I played 4 on PC but it’s really lacks in the customization department, besides that it’s awesome. Wish Forza would come to PlayStation but it never will lol, I like the sheer amount of cars that game has. Overall all 3 games are great and offer trade offs and unique features on each game.
It doesn’t have customization? You can build any car for any purpose with real world parts. The driving feels like driving, I gotta be blazed outta my mind to think nfs is fun.
I played Horizon 5 and The Crew 2... And honestly i prefer TC2 cuz the map. The FH5 is stuning, it looks like reality but the map is really small. TC2 is soo big, the feeling of that u can go everywhere, like literary everywhere. U see mountain? U can go and drove on it. And when i wanna sim race i played Assetto Corsa or F1
The huge problem with the TC2 map it's look like made by a computer and not a human, the road is unfinished, not natural, the city (the little) look like same, and the race dont use correctly the road
Don’t wanna waste 10 minutes of your life? Then see this: Forza Horizon 5: Graphics, Real Map. Need For Speed: Heat: Car Customization, Intense Cop Chases. The Crew 2: Big and Real Map, Not limited to only Cars.
Wish they added cross-platform for the crew 2. Didn''t do my research and bought the crew 2 thinking it would have cross progression and cross-platform. And the 60fps on pc needs to be a bumped up.
It is also worth mentioning for those who like drifting Nfs is horrible when it comes to drifting, the crew 2 is better, but the drift physics feel wierd and really frustrating if you want to tandem with friends or just drift around the map. Fh5 is miles ahead, drift physics feel really good (ofcourse games like assetto corsa and other sim racers are more realistic). The different drift upgrades you can do like adding drift suspension and drift tiers really takes it to a league of it’s own +You have way more tuning options. So if you know you want to have a good time drifting fh5 is the choice
I was a ps4 player all the time and i always wsnted to play fh4, it always seemed miles better then nfs and tc2. Ive built my pc 3 days ago and i absolute enjoy fh5, i never haf this ammount of fun in tc2 or nfs, especially when i think about the annoying money farming in tc2..
Also forzas tuning and physics is insane. If you get into it small differences to camber, damping, roll bar tuning etc make a HUGE difference. Pretty amazing really in a video game Also you can turn a car into pretty much anything. Wanna turn a Moris minor into a drift machine? A drag racer? Rally car? You can do all of it!
The games like forza have really good graphics and a more open world aswell as a more realistic driving engine and can be fun if that’s what you feel like playing but nothing beats nfs for me that street underground vibe and the police chasing and nothing comes close to need for speed customisation and soundtracks and some interesting story’s and the car graphics themselves are better than forza and the crew
@@AFT_05G i agree (im a nfs fan boy and ive played about 11 nfs titles and all 5 horizons and horizon has THE MOST detail ive ever seen in a car game ex,the way mud ,dirt and water interacts with your car, reflections, and the fact that all 530+ cars have the EXACT same reactions to the environment is insane)
I'm always choosing Crew 2, I randomly bought the game 3 years ago and put many hours into it. You still get free content updates in 2023. I bought it for $15 bucks, amazing purchase. Forza 5 is fun too.

Gran Turismo 7: - Wide bodies - Customizable back wings - Manufacturer paints - GT cars - Tracks Dirt: - Skoda
Sadly Heat can't be played offline at least through steam. It requires origin login to even launch the game. I found this out when I had a several hour internet outage. I was able to play Dirt 5 but Heat wouldn't launch as it couldn't log into origin.
Fh4 and fh5 (idk abt others) also have forzathon live/horizon arcade which you can do multiplayer events like drifting, speed traps, danger signs etc. also if you go to the online section in the pause menu, you can do multiplayer point drifting to get the most points ( a bit like formula drift) and things like that.
I choose the crew 2 it's online and u might record and having fun with your friends and there is online race which is pvp live idk what it called but the thing that I love is that the map is big and better graphics.
one thing majorly overlooked about the crew is the livery customization on most cars, that are custom made by people. It’s an absolute game changer. you can have anime cars, unique colorways , and cars that resemble famous movie cars like the Jurassic park jeep or lightning mcqueen, it’s cool asf in my opinion
I loved Heat so much, it was a great step in the right direction from Payback. Not a perfect game but very fun and stylish. Having said that - either I’m stupid (which is probably the issue 😅) or a completely non-existent multiplayer.
But who the hell gives an F1 car at the start of a game. I tell you forza sucks and is boring. Despite the graphics and physics, it gives you everything and becomes boring very soon.
Each game has its own strengths and *quirks* and unique *features* and i'm glad that the games from the franchises NFS, Forza Horizon, The Crew and TDU are so different from each other. The diversity is cool and you can always chose which game you want to play, based on its unqiue atmosphere and vibes.
I think nfs wins mostly in the racing part of the game. It just feels like it has way higher stakes than the other two, especially during night races. Forza did a perfect game in the first Horizon and it's hard to improve on that correctly in my opinion, so overall it just becomes more boring with every game.
Negatives of Forza Horizon 5 - No physics when the car crashes - No cops - Doesn't feel like we are playing an action racing game - No damages on the car is shown
Is that count as a negative Well as a forza fan myself I think you just dont like this kind of game - Doesn't feel like we are playing an action racing game I mean it's a simcade game not fully arcade so.. - No cops .... - No physics when the car crashes Well we dont have that IRL anyway as i said it's a simcade not arcade - No damages on the car is shown I dont think the car manufacture want to see they car get smash into a piece anyway
Of course forza.... Forza is always a choice for a arcade racing games.. forza > nfs > crew...... Horizon games always had flagship graphics i played every nfs and crew game and i can say horizon is always a better franchise
I just started playing FH5 and boy this game makes me feel so much younger with the music festival setting and action packed gameplay, the RJ's who are all energetic and trying to learn Spanish. The world is so lively. I love the vibes. Can any game beat it in the immersive aspects, I wonder? I really thought FH4 (being my first FH game) was the best and Playground Games won't be able to best it. I was so wrong!
Forza Horizon maps are always the condensed yet believable open worlds with sizable amounts of roads to race and explore - basically a fine balance. The Crew is all about the open road and I'm actually impressed on how they nailed the US in both 1 and 2, though it can get boring at times - basically a journey with some signs of boredom when not explored enough. Need for Speed open worlds are more straight to the point yet lack in spirit. In Heat for example, the off road portions are lacking and forcibly shoved off road races, which in turn makes the open world too bland. The density of Heat and 2015's maps make it so bad that they're plain and mundane - basically it has an identity crisis. (Payback did a fine balance in its offroad and asphalt roads, which is the best).
crew2 is older than fh5 and nfs heat and its still a overall better experience than any other racing games can offer. and thats the bottomline. nobody can argue with that.
Not really you can get forza horizon 5 for free just with gamepass. I have all 3 games and the crew 2 feels empty after awhile compared to nfs and fh5 races and customization
@@justyourtypicalgamer3488 that was a good joke and whats with the "you can get it on gamepass"? do you think that adds anything to the game that makes the game better? you sound like you are giving an excuse for that. and also lol to the "it gets boring after awhile". how does the game gets boring with all the variety and things you can do in it? and customization is equally great in thecrew2 which came many years before the other two. so think about how ahead of its time the crew2 is.

I play Need for Speed Heat the least just because of the really unrelistic physics, but if that's you're thing then it's a really good game. The crew 2 definitely lacks in the graphics department but has a really cool feel and the map... well it's just awsome. Awsome video, I agree with everything you said. Really well done.
Crew 2 is the only one of the three I haven't played. I liked NFS Heat once I came to grips with the controls. It definitely has a slicker, more neon drenched vibe, which I liked. FH5 is kinda in a league all its own. The showcases and some of the set pieces just cannot be topped by any racing game. I think I will take a stroll to ebay and see if I can dig up a decently priced Crew 2 and give it a whirl. I like the idea of being able to seamlessly switch to a helicopter or motorcycle and this one has always been on my radar, just never pulled the trigger.
The day we can get a game with detail/Graphics of Forza, scale of Crew/TDU, and customization of NFS. That will be the ultimate game.

My favorite is NFS. It may not be the best in terms of map size, but the setting and insane customization is what makes me prefer it.
One of reasons why forza don't have alot of custom designs is because of its sheer number of cars like abt 500+ while nfs has only 100+ cars which would be easier to put custom body kits etc
The setting is best at night and no one has any incentive to race at night so no one does, its yet another game with no progression.
@@julianmendez4691 and you don't need 500 cars for a good racing game a 100 would be more than enough.
I don’t really play racing games, but I absolutely love The Crew 2. The graphics are pretty great to me, and I love how the cars handle :)

@@spabble Can you play with planes and boats ?
@@spabble unresponsive cars??? have you played NFS heat lately? The handling in the crew 2 is far better than that in NFS.
Those are literally the reasons I called that game decent. The graphics are ehh and the car handling is just downright bad

@@michaelwesten4624 Meh I just like races in The Crew 2 where you can break alot of things.
TLDR, if I want a more arcade/sim game I would play Forza, if I want to play an arcade racing game I would play nfs, so for me the crew 2 doesn’t have a place
i agree
There are several other reasons aswell - TC2 has a significantly larger collection of cars for players to choose from, it has a massive range of visual customizations on every vehicle (FH5 has absolutely none), and the long, endurance-style races are a lot more fun.
From what I can tell, the €60 (or whatever the price is where you live) price tag on FH5 is only there because of the visuals - I, personally, didn't find anything special about it that would warrant a price tag that high.
You clearly never played the crew, since you can teleport to almost any place of the map for free and instantly (unless you have a potato)

I keep seeing it on sale, but must admit that I have not played it yet!
I will do so and make an updated video at some point this year!
In the crew 2 you can also tune your car if you press the advanced performance options by tapping a certain button while in the parts menu.
Got Heat and Crew 2. Both amazing games and tbh you can get some amazing pictures in the Crew 2 which can be edited to be close to real life but not as much you could in FH5. Crew for disapointment and depression
Sound? Crew 2 losses, forza has the best and realistic sound
I can’t stop playing this game
Honestly I love all 3 of these games as I like all aspects of racing, I've played NFS heat lots and tbh it's my favourite out of the 3 because I prefer cop and underground racing. Forza is good because of the map to me but I hate the handling and that there isn't a lot of customisation but it has so so many cars. The crew 2 I would like to play as it's such a big game with lots of cars and more than just car racing.
Overall All 3 games have something unique which makes them all amazing and I don't think there is a best
Very true - All good in their own ways!
objectively fh5 can be considered the best out of the trio in many scenarios, graphics, handling as compared to real life. Things like underground and cop racing are more to preference, but I get you.
@@casmithh Currently on PS5 and I like customizing cars, Forza is great I played 4 on PC but it’s really lacks in the customization department, besides that it’s awesome. The crew 2 is fun as well with good customization, cars, map, and other things. I haven’t really played NFS Heat but after hearing all the good things I’m going to give it a try. Wish Forza would come to PlayStation but it never will lol, I like the sheer amount of cars that game has. Overall all 3 games are great and offer trade offs and unique features on each game.
@@thegeneral1955 i also have a ps5, love that as well, but i had tried the crew 2 after playing forza and it just wasnt the same.
Got bored of Fh5 after playing it for 3 weeks
Don’t wanna waste 10 minutes of your life? Then see this:
Forza Horizon 5: Graphics, Real Map.
Agree with both of those statements! Cross Platform would be amazing!
glad to see many praising the crew 2. everyone used to bash the game and i never knew why
All games are good but fh5 is a new game and nfs heat is also verry new so it's good that the crew 2 as a old game still doing good
I only play Crew. The size(s) of the map(s) in a game is always an important factor for me, so I love Crew.
Very good point and very true! Maybe I should have included a drifting section in the video.
No match, Horizon 5 is the King
I bet you have gotten bored of it by now
@@Destremity I bet you can’t play it
@@slxpperyy9796 i have 300 hours on it
@@Destremity 300 hours? Then why are you putting it down?
5:48 NFS heat does have crossplay. But your progress does NOT carry over from for example xbox to pc.
Also forzas tuning and physics is insane.
If you get into it small differences to camber, damping, roll bar tuning etc make a HUGE difference.
Pretty amazing really in a video
game
Also you can turn a car into pretty much anything. Wanna turn a Moris minor into a drift machine? A drag racer? Rally car? You can do all of it!
Very true!
Nah FH5 makes NFS Heat look like a mobile game you’re blind af
>nfs heat
>interesting story
what the fuck
@@AFT_05G that’s true
@@AFT_05G i agree (im a nfs fan boy and ive played about 11 nfs titles and all 5 horizons and horizon has THE MOST detail ive ever seen in a car game ex,the way mud ,dirt and water interacts with your car, reflections, and the fact that all 530+ cars have the EXACT same reactions to the environment is insane)
@@gudgejm what do you mean
I'm always choosing Crew 2, I randomly bought the game 3 years ago and put many hours into it. You still get free content updates in 2023. I bought it for $15 bucks, amazing purchase. Forza 5 is fun too.
Things that need to be added from racing games currently available to make the ultimate racing game:
The Crew 2:
- Diversity (GT versions of cars, F1 races, planes, boats, motorcycles, etc.)
- Spyker C8
Forza Horizon 5:
- Graphics
- Model quality
- Sheer amount of cars
- Physics model
- Map
- Tracks
NFS Heat:
- Huge range of bodykits
- Smoked taillights and headlights
- Custom plates on each car
- Possibly the police system?
Gran Turismo 7:
- Wide bodies
- Customizable back wings
- Manufacturer paints
- GT cars
- Tracks
Dirt:
- Skoda
Physics from forza gt physics are way better
Sadly Heat can't be played offline at least through steam. It requires origin login to even launch the game. I found this out when I had a several hour internet outage. I was able to play Dirt 5 but Heat wouldn't launch as it couldn't log into origin.
The Crew 2 - Map
Forza Horizon 5 - Driving Physics
NFS Heat - Customization
NFS - Action Packed Racing Game
Forza - Family Friendly Game?
The Crew - Variety Of Vehicles
Fh5 is simply incredible
Agreed.
I own FH3, FH4, FH5, The Cew 1 and 2 , TDU 1 and 2 and I love all of them for different reasons.
Midnight Club Los Angeles 🤏😎👌
Nfs heat is the best and most balanced game out of all. 100% recommended
The crew 2❌❌❌
Need For Speed Heat❌❌❌
Forza Horizon 5✅✅✅
I’ve had some of the best gaming days with friends spent in the crew 2, it really can’t get much better
quality of crew 2 is not bad at all for its diversity
Absolutely!
one thing majorly overlooked about the crew is the livery customization on most cars, that are custom made by people.
Negatives of Forza Horizon 5
- No physics when the car crashes
- No cops
- Doesn't feel like we are playing an action racing game
- No damages on the car is shown
Is that count as a negative Well as a forza fan myself I think you just dont like this kind of game
- Doesn't feel like we are playing an action racing game I mean it's a simcade game not fully arcade so..
- No cops ....
- No physics when the car crashes Well we dont have that IRL anyway as i said it's a simcade not arcade
- No damages on the car is shown I dont think the car manufacture want to see they car get smash into a piece anyway
Of course forza.... Forza is always a choice for a arcade racing games.. forza > nfs > crew...... Horizon games always had flagship graphics
i played every nfs and crew game and i can say horizon is always a better franchise
Fh3 is the best
Having played all 3 NFS Heat for pure excitement.
crew2 is older than fh5 and nfs heat and its still a overall better experience than any other racing games can offer. and thats the bottomline. nobody can argue with that.
Not really you can get forza horizon 5 for free just with gamepass. I have all 3 games and the crew 2 feels empty after awhile compared to nfs and fh5 races and customization
@@justyourtypicalgamer3488 that was a good joke and whats with the "you can get it on gamepass"? do you think that adds anything to the game that makes the game better? you sound like you are giving an excuse for that. and also lol to the "it gets boring after awhile". how does the game gets boring with all the variety and things you can do in it? and customization is equally great in thecrew2 which came many years before the other two. so think about how ahead of its time the crew2 is.
facts
@@mohammadashikurrahman7530 “many years” one year age gap you mean between nfs even payback and forza horizon 3 looks better then the crew 2. The only thing I see people use is cars and bikes and barely any planes.
@@mohammadashikurrahman7530 it’s not even ahead of it’s time it’s far from that. You can buy gamepass or EA access just to get nfs or forza not to mention both games have better graphics and gameplay and more detailed maps
7:00 its not Bad its just what what you want in a car game, its deeper than it seems
Loved heat but it was way to arcade feeling. I just could not get into crew 2, I loved the way one worked and 2 murdered that. Maybe I should give it another shot when I tire of fh5
heat was fast, fun and short with smooth drifty bits. crew 2 is pure cardboard of a game forza is aight but something is missing for me. try dirt games with assists off
I'm a huge Forza guy and play Horizion 5 the most but I own all of them.
Great to hear - thanks!
what I liked most about NFS HEAT was the lights at night or in the loading
Crew 2 is the only one of the three I haven't played. I liked NFS Heat once I came to grips with the controls. It definitely has a slicker, more neon drenched vibe, which I liked. FH5 is kinda in a league all its own. The showcases and some of the set pieces just cannot be topped by any racing game. I think I will take a stroll to ebay and see if I can dig up a decently priced Crew 2 and give it a whirl. I like the idea of being able to seamlessly switch to a helicopter or motorcycle and this one has always been on my radar, just never pulled the trigger.
I’d say fh5 is my favorite but I love the crew 2 map. Literally all of the U.S
Urban LA irl is larger than whole map of TC2 it’s actually massively scaled down.
The Crew 2 being a few years old isn't an argument as 2014 forza horizon 2 already looked better than it
