NFS 2015's world based lighting is heavily pre-baked and is quite static and only night with only 2 other driver map location based varying night time styles that are once again static and not Dynamic/Progressive.
eduardo juarez well sony still have rights for driveclub they might continue the franchise but maybe different developer will take over. But i have to agree they shouldnt close evolution studios, just restructure it thats all.
It's painfully obvious how the PS2 era LOW POLY ENVIRONMENTS / TERRAIN around the TRACKS completely destroy the overall look of GT SPORT....It looks like a super high end HDR REMASTER of Gran Turismo 4 for PS2.
Bro you are smart, isn't it obvious sacrifices have to be made to target 60fps? The gpu only has half as much time to render a frame. Geometry engines can only put in half as many polys per frame at 60fps.

@@Pertev777 So you really think red bull ring can look as beatiful as a mountain pass in Alps. For Driveclub, they choose wherever they want and they don't need to bother with safrty regulations. Race tracks in forza and gt looks bad because they have huge ran off areas, tire walls and gravel traps. Of course a random waterfall with trees everywhere will look better.
@@zerotofifty Red Bull Ring is beautiful because partially surrounded by a Forrest located in hills which gives the track beautiful altitude differences. When playing F1 2018 (or 2019) I loved the track when up and down side by side like a rollercoaster :D
I played it for 1 hour, then had to throw up for another hour because of the horrible physics (that is even more than pure "arcade") and laughable childish graphics with too much color everywhere (ridiculous to say this has the "best racing title graphics"). This game was a joke, is a joke and stays a joke.

Because its a 30 fps game. GT is 60fps. The gpu and cpu have half as much time to render a frame. 33.3ms vs 16.6ms. Each frame at 60fps only has half as much time to render compared to 30fps. REPLY

I agree with you on the graphics and I love gt sport but project cars is way more realistic in the driving you can tune your car alot more aswel anyone who is looking for a sim race I'd recommend project cars.
Pc2 looks amazing, Driveclub looks to shiny like if the car was always wet, agree on Forza and GTS(GTS literally looks like real life, the reflections are perfect)but PC2 is the most realistic here
All of them sound and look awesome. I’ll give an honest opinion. Car Sound: 1. Driveclub 1. Gran Turismo Sport 1. Project Cars 2 I said this because both GT Sport and Driveclub got the 650S sound right. However, Driveclub has a lot more going on in the environment, and easily wins with overall sound. It could also just take this, because of the turbo you hear when shifting gears. Equally, Project Cars 2 got the sound for the 720S quite good and again, I can hear the turbo. Gear changes: 1. Driveclub 2. Gran Turismo Sport 3. Project Cars 2 There is a bit of a gap between the changes in GT Sport and Project Cars 2, but they aren’t really noticeable, unlike the shifting in Project Cars 2, where the dual clutch 720S sounds like a single clutch. Physics: 1. Project Cars 2 2. Gran Turismo Sport 3. Driveclub Graphics: 1. Gran Turismo Sport 2. Driveclub 3. Project Cars 2 Car Performance: 1. Project Cars 2 1. Driveclub 3. Gran Turismo Sport The reason I’m bringing this up is because I think I’ve just seen a 650S overtake a LaFerrari and Veyron 16.4 in Gran Turismo Sport, on this very video in fact. Now, being faster on paper and in game may differ to reality (e.g. we all thought the LaFerrari was the fastest of the Holy Trinity at first, and it is in Assetto, but not in reality), but I’m pretty sure that the LaFerrari is quicker than the 650S. If the overtake was under braking then I could understand, but on a straight, no 650S will overtake a LaFerrari. I’ve also seen the 911 GT3 RS (991) overtake the Veneno and catch a LaFerrari and Veyron 16.4. Sense of speed: 1. Driveclub 2. Project Cars 2 2. Gran Turismo Sport

Driveclub just kills the competition! But gt sport is kind of close second, considering it's a circuit game and pretty realistic graphic. Driveclub is so action movie that it moves us, but for real life cars, gt sport is quite on point. Project cars? Still a bit cartoony and contrasty.
Forza Horizon 3 on PC dude, watch it, it blows all the other racing games out of the water in graphics, but I must admit that Drive Club is a close second and when is raining is supreme
GT = High contrast beautiful but not realistic. PJC2 = Really realistic color, best for realism. DC = between both, too much contrast on green tree sometime like cartoon, more realistic another time.
Although I am both surprised and happy about how driveclub still stacks up now I feel that gt has a more realistic feel to everything as opposed to the over the top experience of driveclub.Both are good games and a great experience
Driveclub is soooooo good. I have a ps4 pro with a PSVR and GT Sport here in a day and I'll still go back to Driveclub. A modern classic that will live forever
GT Sport has pleasing saturation. I like the color being vibrant and punchy. Pc2 is ok but not great, especially looking at the mountain textures. Drive club is an arcade but still outstanding graphics.
It doesnt even have important race tracks like Le Mans... And about the handling... it is kinda personal taste, but i played both, pcars 2 and gt sport for over 10h each. Grip in fast corners, grip change for different weather and collision physics... gt sport cant come close to pcars2 there. Cant say anything bout the ffb because gt sport doesnt even support my fanatec
Project CARS just looks like the sun is placed in the right position and calls it a day. GT Sport, however, seems to capture the FEEL of the time of day. That early morning clip really FELT like the quiet part of the morning where it's getting bright, but the sun's not REALLY up yet. Driveclub captured the feel better than Project CARS, but not quite as well as GT Sport. As other commenters have noted, though, that's still pretty impressive for a game whose engine is three years old.
Yeah and 30 fps. Both Polyphony (GTS) and Slightly Mad Studios (PC2) could do way better in terms of graphics if didnt have to make their games run at 60 fps.

Gt sport for me is the winner in graphics section cause the game looks photorealistic. Driveclub and pc2 have more acute colours but they look more like a game.
I think we need to all take a moment to appreciate how intense the 2009 Need For Speed shift graphics and sounds were. If that game had more solid physics and controls, it may very well be the closest thing you could get to actually feeling like a real race car driver

Seven years from now ( I will do the math ) Driveclub wiil be ten years old, and we will still be reminiscing about it being, one of the best racing games ever made!!!
GT Sport has best graphics and most realism. Best sim. PC 2 is a good sim but has NFS graphics and the car bounces a lot. Driveclub is arcade but has great graphics and sound despite being years old. This is the most accurate comparison I can give. As an extra, Forza 7 has meh graphics and is a sim-arcade game, but has lootboxes...
Twinky Studios PC2 and GT Sport are both sims. Both have settings to make the car as real as possible. GT has options to make the car handle easier or to make it completely realistic, so I guess you can call it a simulator or arcade.
I've seen these videos. And I just got DC because of them and I couldn't be happier.... Drive Club still looks amazing and handles even better... at $20 for the full game and Damn near all the DLC you can't lose.
Sub-Zero Racing Team - (SZRT) and despite all the game modes, and picture taking, and the 30 v 60 fps babble, no driving game feels faster than DC. NONE.
I have driveclub and project cars 2. Myself i prefer project cars 2, very relistic, a good simulator, and a more true to life experience. Driveclub is good, but very arcade.( more unrealistic and easier to play) Horses for courses.
Deon Taylor this was the reply i was looking for. Driveclub looks good for his age bug its still arcade and has non realistic psysics. Gt sport is more of a sim butt the psysics and gameplay sucks really bad. Project cars 2 has his faults but when playing with a good steering wheel its the best one for me , its more challenging and Also qua settings in gameplay and camera. Gt sports however is beautifful in photomode and the sticker editor is so much fun. But in the end project cars 2 is the game i always go back to.
Did DriveClub get an insane PS4pro patch or did the game really look THIS good?! ITs really amazing what they did bach then, the sound and the visuals are amazing. MY TV does not support HDR and 4k, so all the glorious visuals of GTS are probably wasted on me.
DRIVECLUB still wins in the visual department. Gran Turismo SPORT is a close second, but it also runs at 60FPS which is a huge plus. Project CARS 2 is in it's own little corner. I think the driving realism was top priority over visuals.

Winner: GT Sport Why: I got DriveClub on PSN and never played it, there is no proper single player and you need to pay for almost everything, from cars to tracks. GT Sport...well, tried that and loved it, that is a full racing game experience and it is fun to play.
I haven't played GT Sport or Drive Club, so, with zero knowledge of how game-play compares; graphically I'm surprised how good Drive Club looks. It kind of seems like what GT Sport and PCars2 is trying to achieve...was already achieved years ago.

Sidharth Sreekumar I know, but Sony said in a Blog post that they left a small team to maintain DriveClub for maintenance. And Evolution Studios is still active, they just don't work for Sony no more, they got hired by Codemasters a third party publisher Last but not Least Evolution Studios came back to help work on DriveClub VR even tho they were dropped by Sony way before the game even came out. The point I'm trying to make is, Sony has resources to pull this team back for one more patch, and since Sony owns the DriveClub engine already, or they could do it themselves.

My opinions (Anyone can differ) My most favorite: Race driver grid 1 Best simulators: GT Sport, Assetto Corsa, Project cars 2 Best arcade plus simulator: Forza 7 Best/worst arcade: The NFS series Best graphics: Drive club, NFS series, especially The Run in its times.
Don't get offended, but GT Sport looks the most authentic one here Indeed DriveClub looks phenomenal! but it is to cinematic and arcadey, which doesn't focuses more on simulation elements, but rather fun gameplay for gamers of all ages. I have played Project Cars 2 as well, a lot, the graphics are lackluster, mostly it looks totally last gen as compared to GT Sport, DriveClub and Forza 7, but believe me PC2 gameplay is insane. It has the thrill to drive. It is not 100% simulation, but PC2 provides complete package for a SIM Lover, which DriveClub and Forza don't even have. PC2 can be compared with GT Sport and Assetto Corsa (The one I love the most right now). GT Sport looks sleek, but I don't know how SIM it is unless I try it. I am betting on GT Sport for now.
At 0:10 pay very close attention to the two front cars ahead as they enter and exit the tunnel. The reflection streaming is switching quite abruptly there in GTS... This is the early tech we are used to seen back in the PS2-PS3 days. It is quite immersion breaking once you see it.
Of course Driveclub looks better. It runs at 30FPS. There's twice the time to render each frame. GTS is the most technically impressive because it looks beautiful while running at a locked 60FPS in up to 4K with 10-bit HDR, high sample motion blur and physically based rendering.
Top driving on all games! I've played Project Cars 2 and GT Sport demo but will continue with Driveclub still. For me it looks and sounds better, and has better gameplay.
Your a dumb ass!! can't refill a tank of gas in pc2 WTF i lost a god damn online race with 5 corners to go in pc2, Then the penalty's dude, pc2 is preety frickin penalty happy even on it's lowest setting, mechanics are real in pc2 the change tires and refill fuel you can watch all that, oh and engine wear i think is real because the engine damage gauge kept going up but you have to race along time for it to change because that is how it is in real life

It does look very good, but it's 30fps, compared to 60fps of the other 2 games. I'd sooner have the framerate. I play Pcars2 at over 100fps on my P.C.
Imagine if driveclub got a PS4 pro patch. Really all it needs is better anti aliasing.

GT = High contrast beautiful but not realistic.
PJC2 = Really realistic color, best for realism.
DC = between both, too much contrast on green tree sometime like cartoon, more realistic another time.

GT Sport has pleasing saturation. I like the color being vibrant and punchy.
Pc2 is ok but not great, especially looking at the mountain textures.

It doesnt even have important race tracks like Le Mans... And about the handling... it is kinda personal taste, but i played both, pcars 2 and gt sport for over 10h each. Grip in fast corners, grip change for different weather and collision physics... gt sport cant come close to pcars2 there.

Project CARS just looks like the sun is placed in the right position and calls it a day.
GT Sport, however, seems to capture the FEEL of the time of day. That early morning clip really FELT like the quiet part of the morning where it's getting bright, but the sun's not REALLY up yet. Driveclub captured the feel better than Project CARS, but not quite as well as GT Sport. As other commenters have noted, though, that's still pretty impressive for a game whose engine is three years old.

Because racing tracks doesn't look beatiful. If driveclub only had real tracks it wouldn't look fascinating. No track racing game can be good looking anymore.
Gt sport for me is the winner in graphics section cause the game looks photorealistic. Driveclub and pc2 have more acute colours but they look more like a game.

I think we need to all take a moment to appreciate how intense the 2009 Need For Speed shift graphics and sounds were. If that game had more solid physics and controls, it may very well be the closest thing you could get to actually feeling like a real race car driver

Twinky Studios PC2 and GT Sport are both sims. Both have settings to make the car as real as possible. GT has options to make the car handle easier or to make it completely realistic, so I guess you can call it a simulator or arcade.

Driveclub took no prisoners in yet another video. Most fun I had with a racing game in ages. Visuals, sense of speed and sound, all top notch.

I've seen these videos. And I just got DC because of them and I couldn't be happier.... Drive Club still looks amazing and handles even better... at $20 for the full game and Damn near all the DLC you can't lose.

Sense of speed in DC is cheap. Easy to make it seem really fast when it's full of assists and lacks the danger of consequence.

Did DriveClub get an insane PS4pro patch or did the game really look THIS good?! ITs really amazing what they did bach then, the sound and the visuals are amazing. MY TV does not support HDR and 4k, so all the glorious visuals of GTS are probably wasted on me.

DRIVECLUB still wins in the visual department. Gran Turismo SPORT is a close second, but it also runs at 60FPS which is a huge plus. Project CARS 2 is in it's own little corner. I think the driving realism was top priority over visuals.

Why: I got DriveClub on PSN and never played it, there is no proper single player and you need to pay for almost everything, from cars to tracks. GT Sport...well, tried that and loved it, that is a full racing game experience and it is fun to play.

I haven't played GT Sport or Drive Club, so, with zero knowledge of how game-play compares; graphically I'm surprised how good Drive Club looks. It kind of seems like what GT Sport and PCars2 is trying to achieve...was already achieved years ago.

Ryan Hall Sony shut down Evolution Studios, the company that made DriveClub.
Sidharth Sreekumar I know, but Sony said in a Blog post that they left a small team to maintain DriveClub for maintenance.
And Evolution Studios is still active, they just don't work for Sony no more, they got hired by Codemasters a third party publisher
Last but not Least Evolution Studios came back to help work on DriveClub VR even tho they were dropped by Sony way before the game even came out. The point I'm trying to make is, Sony has resources to pull this team back for one more patch, and since Sony owns the DriveClub engine already, or they could do it themselves.

Can’t lie. I’m a diehard Gran Turismo fan. But, Project Cars 2 did the graphics and sound mastering better. Second is Gran Turismo.

Indeed DriveClub looks phenomenal! but it is to cinematic and arcadey, which doesn't focuses more on simulation elements, but rather fun gameplay for gamers of all ages.
I have played Project Cars 2 as well, a lot, the graphics are lackluster, mostly it looks totally last gen as compared to GT Sport, DriveClub and Forza 7, but believe me PC2 gameplay is insane. It has the thrill to drive. It is not 100% simulation, but PC2 provides complete package for a SIM Lover, which DriveClub and Forza don't even have.
PC2 can be compared with GT Sport and Assetto Corsa (The one I love the most right now). GT Sport looks sleek, but I don't know how SIM it is unless I try it. I am betting on GT Sport for now.

Of course Driveclub looks better. It runs at 30FPS. There's twice the time to render each frame.
GTS is the most technically impressive because it looks beautiful while running at a locked 60FPS in up to 4K with 10-bit HDR, high sample motion blur and physically based rendering.

In GTS there is wear, refill tank of gasoline, mechanics, penalty etc.. in forza 7 y pc2 Nothing of that. In forza 7 cars recycled

Your a dumb ass!! can't refill a tank of gas in pc2 WTF i lost a god damn online race with 5 corners to go in pc2, Then the penalty's dude, pc2 is preety frickin penalty happy even on it's lowest setting, mechanics are real in pc2 the change tires and refill fuel you can watch all that, oh and engine wear i think is real because the engine damage gauge kept going up but you have to race along time for it to change because that is how it is in real life
