I believe that's marketing purpose. If the camera as good as avata. Less market for avata. So it's good enough. The camera better than mini 2.

@@CPstudioTheTraveller maybe. The avatar is more an FPV drone. I also have the NEO and a Mini 3 Pro, I don’t expect it to be the same as a 1 inch sensor, but I wish it was a bit less grainy. Like I have mobile phones with 12mp sensor that produce clearer photos.
Perhaps it will come with software updates 🙏
