I am a senior who’s been playing’ for three seasons now and you were the first golf instructor I saw on YT. During that time my swing is just now coming together (was hurt briefly, winter, etc…) and I am now working on follow through and a pose at the end. I was always too embarrassed to strike a pose and my shots suffered. Now I try to ‘vogue’ it on every swing. Thanks, Tom!
That is *OUTSTANDING!!* 💪💪 I’m very glad to know that my instruction is resonating with you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing and putting it into play. Thanks so much for your support in sharing your improvement, keep up the great work, and keep on "styling" that pose!! 😆😆 Tom PS: By the way, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that a significant percentage of my online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. I hope you'll give the school some thought.
I went out and tried this and it worked great for a 6,8 and 9 iron…really powerful…and it gets me left like I’ve never been…I didn’t do driver or a 4 wood yet. Awesome instruction.
AWESOME! Thanks for validating this with your dramatic ball striking improvement! Keep up the great work, and have fun incorporating this into your driver/woods and BOMBING it!! 💪💪 TS
I don't know how you do it, but yet again, a fantastic video! You describe things in a way that is directly actionable with immediate results for me, I have never striped the ball as much as I do now as a result of your golf school and videos, thank you Tom!!
I sincerely appreciate your kind words, and I'm very glad to know that my lesson content and teaching style are resonating with you to such an extent and providing clarity and simplicity in the muddied, overly complicated, oft-conflicting realm of golf instruction. Thanks so much for your validating remarks and testimonial for the online school, and keep on striping it!! 💪💪 Tom

In part by focusing on tilt rather than turn, I broke 80 for the first time today. I started seriously playing last season. I salute you, valiant Sir Saguto.
Ah - the other part of the equation: You only started playing last year and you have already broken through into the 70's. That is *SPECTACULAR!!* 👍👍 TS
Thanks Shane - I'm very glad to know that this lesson resonated with you, and now that you are armed with this knowledge I hope you are able to use it to the betterment of your game. And yes - if that "hammer" action performs well for you, then absolutely stick with it! I do my best to convey multiple “feels” or thoughts throughout the swing wherever possible. We're all different physiologically and psychologically, and something that resonates effectively with one golfer may not necessarily work for another. As such, it is important to understand that the lessons on this channel - while fully aligned with the swing method I teach - address a variety of topics, issues, feels, and/or common flaws/fixes from one episode to the next. They are certainly not intended to be taken as a comprehensive, step-by-step, position-by-position learning platform like the structured curriculum of my online school, which I strongly recommend to anyone who truly wishes to get on the proper path towards owning this swing as it will make for a far more efficient and enjoyable learning process rather than haphazardly trying to piece things together through my TH-cam content. The lessons and drills provide the guidelines and set the boundaries, while allowing ample leeway for each individual golfer to infuse and exercise their own uniqueness. Keep up the great work! Tom
I appreciate that, Patrick! I'm very glad to know that this lesson aided in your understanding, and now that you are armed with this knowledge I hope you are able to use it to the betterment of your game. Thanks for your message and ongoing support! Tom
Hey Tom, this video is brilliant and simplifies the golf swing in so many ways. The lead arm thumb at 45deg to the sky in the backswing has cured my issue because I was keeping the club face too closed at the top of my backswing. Perhaps you could do a more detailed video to show the correct face angle at each stage of the swing. Thanks Lee UK 🇬🇧

It's taken me ages to get to grips with my swing and only recently clicked with the idea that your hands come around your front leg with the turn, not arcing towards the target. Seeing your tilt there is probably my missing link as it clearly helps the whole swing and turn" that I've been lacking.. Cheers

Great video. Tilt and the left arm. I have always tried to get my power from the right arm. Boy was I wrong. 67 years old, 3 back surgeries and just hit my first drive in over a year over 200 yards.

You have mentioned in your earlier videos, that your whole swing is with the right arm. However here, you talk about the left arm initiating the down swing. Pls clarify this.

Yes - this absolutely applies to the driver. In fact, it is essentially the same swing with every club; just some minor setup differences and naturally occurring shaft plane changes as we graduate up in club length from short irons to woods. Yes - that's a good feel as it keeps the path in the "happy zone" and prevents the club from venturing across the line and into the "zone of death". Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!! Tom
If I slingshot the arms then the overall feeling is good and I get a good ball strike with a straight divot after the ball. Being relaxed helps this happen in my case.

Hi Tom I've watched a ton of your videos. Just curious on what you think of getting new clubs and getting a club fitting. I have a set of taylormade rac but they are 15-20 yrs old.. They seem fine and are still in pretty good shape.. They look the same as some of the new ones I've looked at. Would new fitted clubs make much difference or just keep working on my swing?
LOL! That's awesome!! I'm very glad to know that my instruction content and teaching style are resonating with you!! Thanks so much for your support in sharing your ball striking success and keep up the great work!! 💪💪 Tom
When this swing is executed properly, Ben, we can flight it as high or low as we desire on-demand. Generally speaking, when the ball flight is too low it is a result of swinging across the ball. I'll summarize the most common potential causes, and then through self-analysis and video you can work to pinpoint your culprit: 1) Ball position too far forward. 2) Weight too far back (you should start with 55% weight forward at address - closer to 60% with the longer clubs - be at 70% at the transition, 80% forward halfway down, and 90% at impact). 3) Rolling the wrists through impact. 4) Insufficient inward hand path in the backswing, which then encourages an out-to-in downswing path. 5) Lead knee straightening to soon in the downswing, causing the hips to spin open and reroute the club to the outside. 6) If you were previously prone to a steep, over-the-top downswing path (and slices as a result), then you may have habitually closed the face at address and/or strengthened your grip to compensate. If your path is now corrected, try opening the face ever so slightly at address and/or weakening your grip to see if that helps. And while there is certainly content on my channel that addresses the various causes, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews Thanks, Tom Saguto, PGA
It all comes down to which notion performs best for _YOU,_ Kevin. You see, I do my best to convey multiple “feels” or thoughts throughout the swing wherever possible. Not at all, Dr. Billy. First of all, we address the ball stacked shoulders over hips over knees with our weight balanced 50/50. We then simply bump our hips one inch towards the target while keeping everything else in place. This presets a little more weight forward - generally 55/45 for the short and mid irons, 60/40 for the longer clubs - while retaining the stacked relationship. Beyond that, both feet are flared outward approximately 10-20 degrees, with the knees similarly angled outward. This orientation facilitates a stress-free, flowing motion back and through, resulting in a very body-friendly, consistent, powerful swing. While there is certainly content on my channel that addresses this topic, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews Thanks - I'm glad to know that my instruction content is resonating with you! The face is open a few degrees to the target line at address, Deon. Consider that the zero-point of the swing is even with the lead shoulder/armpit from a face-on view. The face would be square to the target there, but since the ball position is behind that spot, without any contrived manipulations this causes the face to be ever so slightly open to the target line. This relationship - face open to the target and closed to the in-to-out downswing path - is how we achieve the stock powerful push-draw ball flight of this swing system. Cheers! Tom, I think it’d be really, really helpful if you used your launch monitor on all your videos. That way we can see where the ball is actually going and its shape.
I agree that it's a really good notion conceptually, Brad, but what one does not see from the viewer side is just how much is involved on both the filming and video editing/production ends to do so, especially when out on the range and not in an indoor studio. Having said that, I did deploy my Flightscope Mevo+ in this recent episode: th-cam.com/video/PjOCxLWAKW4/w-d-xo.html Thanks, Tom Saguto, PGA
Yes, we need to turn without creating recoil. But, at 7.20 your head is aligned to the right, at the top of your backswing, which is correct. The head has to align to the right in the backswing; and, this is key to a recoil free transition. At address there should be a ley line that extends from the left hand to the lower left part of the neck. When a player extends their left hand, to position the club behind the ball, at address, the lower left part of the neck reacts against the hand and presses back. This is key to making a recoil free turn and returning the club to the ball on the same arc in the downswing. And, in the backswing the lower left part of the neck pushes back with an increased force to turn the body all the way round to the top of the backswing. And, you can easily prove this to yourself by hanging your arms by your side and pushing back with the lower left part of your neck
Surely you get the hinge right if you address correctly and then just rotate around your spine? So thinking about rotating around your spine is a good swing thought?
Ideally, I prefer that my students and members get to the point where they can simply "allow" the hand and wrist actions to happen without forcing anything. In other words, if we have a secure grip, pre-establish the connections properly in the setup, and have a foundational base that facilitates a full centered turn without restriction, then once we've ingrained the correct positions through sequential drilling and repetition we can entrust the motion to the big muscles and allow the wrists, hands, and club to simply go along for the ride and respond accordingly as if on autopilot. The power accumulators - including the proper wrist and hand action - will then naturally load and fire with no contrived manipulations or precise timing necessary, thereby returning the face to the position pre-established at address. We are minimizing variables and building a ball striking machine, and the golfer will find that as trust builds in the shoulders will rotate freely and the "machine" will then be optimized. It's called "giving up control to gain control", and it's the formula for consistently blissful ball striking and seemingly effortless power. And while I certainly have other videos that address this topic, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lesson and drill content, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews Thanks, Tom Saguto, PGA
Hi Vinny, If you can stand up straight, tilt to the left, tilt to the right, and do all of these without discomfort, then that's essentially all I am referring to here. This is absolutely not the body-wrecking, "butt-twisting" move that I have discouraged in other videos. The swing system I teach is a proven body-friendly method. I can vouch for that through my own personal experience as a golfer who previously experienced back pain, and It is further validated by the fact that a significant percentage of my students and online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. It all begins with a proper setup which provides for a free-flowing motion. Upon that good foundation a repeatable swing which produces consistently crispy impact can be built. Tom
Farts, then says "shoot out of the cannon at a high rate of speed" shortly thereafter. It's like getting great golf advice from Terrance and Philip. Priceless.
It's really a matter of proper execution of the tilt component while keeping our swing center intact, Greg. If you refer to my other reply to you, while I certainly have content that addresses your issue, a far more structured option would be that free mini course. Thanks, Tom
It's important to know why the ball is behaving a particular way in order to reverse engineer the cause, Richard. The ball is simply responding to the flight plan assigned to it by the clubface at impact. Clubface relative to target line is the primary influencer of the ball's starting line and face relative to path determines direction and degree of curvature. So in the case of a pull, the face is closed to the target line at impact. There are various possible causes for this, including the face being too shut at address, a grip that is too strong, a ball position that is too far forward, weight not moving forward enough in the downswing, a downswing path that is approaching the ball from the outside, flipping/rolling the hands through the zone and more. By the way, always begin with the setup - in this case the first three possibilities - prior to diving into a swing intervention. For example, a golfer may have previously deployed a closed clubface at address and/or a strong grip to compensate for a slice due to a steep downswing path. If the path has been corrected, then that same grip can certainly result in pulled shots. While there is certainly content on my channel that addresses the various causes, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews Tom Saguto, PGA
I've been trying to throw the club through the ball. I've played 2 rounds on a par 3 course. I always get a small bucket of range balls to get everything warmed up. For the past 2 days. I've been short of the distance? I hit a shot in the second hole. It sounded great. Unfortunately I couldn't see or find where the shot went. I lost it. So I tried another ball. I bladed it to about the green? I put down. But today was a very disappointing. Today I bladed every shot. It went dead straight and low and they all went through the. I finally got a nice shot. I truly hope???
Hope springs eternal, Loren! I do my best to convey multiple “feels” or thoughts throughout the swing wherever possible, and the action of "throwing the club" was one such feel. The biggest issue I have is getting the club “shallow” in the backswing. Of course as the clubs get longer the worse my contact gets because of this. Maybe I’m not making a big enough turn and allowing the tilt to get that club in the right spot?

I tried this on a bucket of balls. Pulling my left hand through I can't get the club to square up. The edge of my hand wants to pull to the target and my thumb trails, keeping the clubface wide open. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Hi Michael, If we lose our connection between the upper lead arm and torso we can then lose control of the arm and - as a result - of the clubface as well. Try this: Stick a tee in the armpit area to emphasize the critical connection point between the top of your lead arm and the side of your pectoral muscle. Make swings - slowly at first - while keeping the tee in place all the way into your finish. You should notice that this naturally encourages the clubface to square up through the zone. Gradually increase speed and really feel that "glued" connection remaining intact while you slingshot the arm through as demonstrated in this video. You can then hit balls with the tee remaining in place to see if this straightens out the flight. Beyond that, while there is certainly content on my channel that addresses this in further detail, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews Tom Saguto, PGA
rifling with lead arm can lead to arms getting ahead of the shoulders and arm only power. it's a combination of lead arm with shoulders continuing to turn? seems to require a lot of timing practice focusing on lead arm rather than shoulders. this is a observation/question not a statement.

I can duplicate this and hit some good shots but where i get tight/feel bunched up is the follow through....struggling with where my arms stop and the position of the club at finish....
To the untrained eye the stock finish for this swing system may have a somewhat abbreviated look to it, however it is simply the result of a very connected, powerful, and body-friendly motion and confirms the following: 1) We retained the structure of our arms and shoulders that we created at setup, 2) We had forward shaft lean at impact for crispy compression, 3) We moved the trail shoulder past the ball, and 4) We did not flip or roll our hands through the zone. Have a look at Tommy Fleetwood's finish, for example - he is one of the best ball strikers out there. And there are plenty of others on Tour whose follow-throughs are similar. There's no need for the shaft to whack you in the back, and for many in the amateur ranks that type of loose finish is an indicator of a breakdown somewhere in the swing motion. Doesn’t matter as long as your on plane on the down swing and square on impact the most important thing in golf is hitting the ball out off the center of the club how you do that don’t matter own your swing and hit the center of the club nothing else matters that’s why tour pros are so good that’s the secret that they don’t tell you
A common misconception, Steve. This is not a "flat" or "laid off" swing. It is a one-plane motion, meaning that there is no independent, disconnected lifting of the arms and hands as you would see in a two-plane move (there's no need to "drop it in the slot" if you just put it there in the first place!). Instead, by properly maintaining our connections the arms, hands, and club are "elevated" in response to the motion and without any contrived or manufactured actions. While the "feel" may initially be hip-high to someone accustomed to a "shift & lift" type of action, in actuality by turning our shoulders on that inclined plane and maintaining our relationship with the ball we preserve the preestablished geometry of the swing and achieve a perfectly on-plane and very powerful position at the top. Watch any Tour event on TV and you'll see a significant number of players executing these motions, a fact corroborated by just how many of them have a very centered swing with the lead knee flexing and the trail leg straightening during the backswing, their lead arms on or very close to their tilted shoulder planes, and their hands deep behind their trail shoulder at the top. While there is certainly plenty of content on my channel that addresses this topic, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews So, pay no attention to misinformed naysayers and let your ball striking and shot shape be your guide! Whatever term or thought works for you is fine by me, Owen, as long as it performs well for you. Most of the time I just say "get the lead arm off the chest", but "rifle" has more dramatic effect....😎 Tom
You've got me confused Tom. You always talk turning the right shoulder down thru impact and weight 60-70 on the left side. This left arm emphasis seems like a contradiction. What am I missing?-Be well-Russ
Hi Russ, If you watch the video in its entirety you will see that I make a specific reference to this. I do my best to convey multiple “feels” or thoughts throughout the swing wherever possible. We're all different physiologically and psychologically, and something that resonates effectively with one golfer may not necessarily work for another. I've asked questions like that before of Tom and his answer basically is he gives several different ways to accomplish the same basic swing. Right now I'm with you in terms of focusing on getting the right shoulder through the ball as my main thought on the downswing. I just try to keep my trail arm folded and my right wrist extended back and keep that passive during the shoulder driven downswing and it's working extremely well. Good luck and hit em straight!
For years?? LOL!! While I have talked about the feel of the shoulders driving the swing a bit in recent months because it is something that will benefit the majority of folks in the amateur golfing world, in actuality I have also done several videos related to the arms on this channel. Hey SagutoGolf, I just wanted to let you know how disappointed I am with one of your recent videos. In the middle of what was supposed to be a helpful and engaging tutorial, you farted, and it completely threw me off. I tune into your channel expecting high-quality golf instruction, and this just felt really unprofessional. It’s hard to take the content seriously when something like that happens. I hope you can understand where I’m coming from and consider maintaining a more professional demeanor in your future videos. Your audience looks up to you, and we expect a certain level of respect and professionalism. This incident really undermined the credibility of your channel and made it difficult for me to stay engaged with the content. As someone who genuinely enjoys your videos and looks forward to learning from your expertise, this was a major letdown. I believe that maintaining a certain standard of professionalism is crucial, especially when you have a large following that depends on your content for valuable information. It's important to remember that your viewers are dedicating their time to watch your videos, and they deserve a level of respect and consideration. I hope you take this feedback seriously and strive to create a more professional and respectful environment in your future videos.
Well, I'm sorry you feel that way as it was simply a humorous "reality" moment and was taken as such by everyone else I've heard from. Having said that, I do appreciate your feedback and understand that my "lesson and a show" delivery style on this free channel is not necessarily for everyone; I am who I am, though, and I'm not going to try to mask my personality and thereby come across as "fake" or "stiff". Tom you are the best golf instructor out there. Thanks for everything.
That is *OUTSTANDING!!* 💪💪
I’m very glad to know that my instruction is resonating with you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing and putting it into play.
Thanks so much for your support in sharing your improvement, keep up the great work, and keep on "styling" that pose!! 😆😆

As you are now coming to understand, one does not need the flexibility of a Romanian gymnast - or even of this far less pliable golf instructor - to execute this swing and experience great ball striking.

*AWESOME!!*
Great to hear from you, and I sincerely appreciate the wonderful progress update.
Thanks for sharing your dramatic improvement and keep up the fantastic work!!

In part by focusing on tilt rather than turn, I broke 80 for the first time today. I started seriously playing last season. I salute you, valiant Sir Saguto.
Ah - the other part of the equation: You only started playing last year and you have already broken through into the 70's. That is *SPECTACULAR!!* 👍👍

Great video Tom. I’m glad you put in the bit about right shoulder, as I go with the hammer idea with the right arm.

That's fabulous, Lee! I’m very glad to know that this lesson resonated with you; excellent job incorporating it into your swing and conquering your issue!

Another great video. Especially with Jim Carrey impressions at the beginning.
Thanks again, Don! I'm glad to learn that you are enjoying my "lesson and a show" instruction style!

By the way, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that a significant percentage of my online school members are in their 60's, 70's, and 80's - i.e.: a smorgasbord of chronic ailments, physical limitations, back/shoulder/knee/hip pain, arthritis, and joint replacements - and they are overwhelmingly elated to experience the dramatic pain-free game improvement, seemingly effortless power, and resulting enjoyment that this swing affords them. One does not need the flexibility of a Romanian gymnast - or even of this far less pliable golf instructor - to execute this swing, experience great ball striking, and reclaim - or even exceed - yardages from years past. I hope you'll give the school some thought.

Yes - this absolutely applies to the driver. In fact, it is essentially the same swing with every club; just some minor setup differences and naturally occurring shaft plane changes as we graduate up in club length from short irons to woods. To demonstrate, you'll find towards the end of this episode some practice range footage of me hitting a 7 iron, 3 wood, and driver: th-cam.com/video/o0xscMyN3v8/w-d-xo.html.

Nice nick faldo move…my left arm swing thought is to point the left elbow at the target when swinging down.
Yes - that's a good feel as it keeps the path in the "happy zone" and prevents the club from venturing across the line and into the "zone of death". Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!!

If I slingshot the arms then the overall feeling is good and I get a good ball strike with a straight divot after the ball. Being relaxed helps this happen in my case.

Hi Tom
I've watched a ton of your videos.

Tom
Its great Tom. Very powerful BUT I tend to hit the ball lower than i'd like with this method. I really like a high ball flight. Any suggestions?
When this swing is executed properly, Ben, we can flight it as high or low as we desire on-demand. Generally speaking, when the ball flight is too low it is a result of swinging across the ball. I'll summarize the most common potential causes, and then through self-analysis and video you can work to pinpoint your culprit:
1) Ball position too far forward.
And while there is certainly content on my channel that addresses the various causes, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews

So def the lead arm is dominant and leads - which generates the speed - basically it’s a left arm game for a right handed player
It all comes down to which notion performs best for _YOU,_ Kevin. You see, I do my best to convey multiple “feels” or thoughts throughout the swing wherever possible. Hey Tom: With your square setup does that negate pushing your hip forward and putting more weight on the left side at address? Thanks for all you do.
While there is certainly content on my channel that addresses this topic, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews

9:53 nice segue
LOL! Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Do you have the face open a fraction or dead straight? Thanks mate

Having said that, I did deploy my Flightscope Mevo+ in this recent episode: th-cam.com/video/PjOCxLWAKW4/w-d-xo.html

Always a most interesting anatomical perspective..... 😎
Thanks for sharing that unique detail!
@SagutoGolf Thanks for that Tom. Works great with a dowsing stick..... 👍
And while I certainly have other videos that address this topic, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lesson and drill content, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews

With the continuous tilt, how do people not have back problems as you mentioned in previous videos of what not to do?
Hi Vinny,
If you can stand up straight, tilt to the left, tilt to the right, and do all of these without discomfort, then that's essentially all I am referring to here.
One question I have. When I try and stay tilted and lower my right shoulder I hit way behind the ball. How do you keep from doing this
It's really a matter of proper execution of the tilt component while keeping our swing center intact, Greg. If you refer to my other reply to you, while I certainly have content that addresses your issue, a far more structured option would be that free mini course.
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks I'm using this system but on occasion I hit the ball left what am I doing wrong?

If you want to throw the club wacth Craig hansons videos on you tube

The biggest issue I have is getting the club “shallow” in the backswing. Of course as the clubs get longer the worse my contact gets because of this. Maybe I’m not making a big enough turn and allowing the tilt to get that club in the right spot?
This is one of the most common issues among amateur golfers, and it is certainly fixable!

I tried this on a bucket of balls. Pulling my left hand through I can't get the club to square up. The edge of my hand wants to pull to the target and my thumb trails, keeping the clubface wide open. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Hi Michael,
If we lose our connection between the upper lead arm and torso we can then lose control of the arm and - as a result - of the clubface as well.
Beyond that, while there is certainly content on my channel that addresses this in further detail, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews

rifling with lead arm can lead to arms getting ahead of the shoulders and arm only power. it's a combination of lead arm with shoulders continuing to turn?
seems to require a lot of timing practice focusing on lead arm rather than shoulders. this is a observation/question not a statement.

While there is certainly content on my channel that can assist with your issue, a more structured option would be my FREE mini course “The Top 3 Keys You Need to Be a Great Ball Striker”: go.saguto.golf/ Featuring 17 videos and 45 minutes of detailed lessons and drills, this is a great way to gain a fundamental understanding of this system as well as an introduction to the formal learning method that has countless thousands of men and women from across the globe - including many accomplished, low-handicap, competitive players and spanning all age ranges from junior to super-senior - now enjoying the best golf of their lives: saguto.golf/p/sagutogolfreviews

What are the wrists doing?
Ideally, Charles, we should simply "allow" the hand and wrist actions to happen without forcing anything.

Why is your left thumb straight down the shaft?
I have a neutral grip, and as such my left thumb rests just to the right side of center.
Get over it... I love your intro...was that early Jim Carey doing the evangelist ?
LOL! I probably more typically embrace and exude the Fire Marshall Bill vibe, but I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!...😆😆
That’s so right on,you’re right. Jim Carey was so funny. Fire Marshall Bill, etc. Why hasn’t that guy won an Oscar?
I've been told my take away is to flat and it looks like yours below the shoulder 😂 I'm so confused

Oh dear Gary.
Instead of rifle I like “pull” the left arm.
Whatever term or thought works for you is fine by me, Owen, as long as it performs well for you. Most of the time I just say "get the lead arm off the chest", but "rifle" has more dramatic effect....😎
Tom
You've got me confused Tom. You always talk turning the right shoulder down thru impact and weight 60-70 on the left side. This left arm emphasis seems like a contradiction. What am I missing?-Be well-Russ

You can't get your right shoulder passed the ball unless your arm goes first. Your shoulder is connected to your arm.
I’m little confused for years you been talking about your shoulders turning for the swing now your saying arms? Throwing your arms?
For years?? LOL!! While I have talked about the feel of the shoulders driving the swing a bit in recent months because it is something that will benefit the majority of folks in the amateur golfing world, in actuality I have also done several videos related to the arms on this channel.

Maybe not years but a lot for a long time. Don’t get me wrong love your channel but you threw me off with this arm philosophy. Mahalo and Aloha
