Your's look like you could eat them immediately, a small quantity does a lot. I've eaten tumeric peeled and uncooked but the ones shipped here aren't as fresh as yours. A small amount seems to not only protect us from sun damage but possibly aids us in utilizing that particular color's spectrum of the sun's ray's energy. It gave me energy even after being slightly sunburnt and tired from the sun that workday, I believe because our bodies have to produce their own antioxidants otherwise
I dehydrated most of this harvest. I left some as bigger chips that I use in teas and the rest I grinned down to a powder for cooking and adding to drinks and other things. Have you ever tried growing your own. Thanks for watching.
@@growingwithjay1 planted a few small, maybe only single double nodes as "rootstock" spur of the moment one day while eating them raw. As far as I know they didn't take, probably because I didn't pick the best soil spots/depth/time of the year and animals likely ate them over the course of time.
