This is an interesting question in doug polks upswing poker book for heads up it tell you to use a program like polk did to play kid poker that didn't use one how's this program work live pros that need the use of any programs to win at poker programs are a crutch and a sign of weakness and a form of cheating in my eyes as many others say another thing that's killing online and will destroy what online is these days pros cheating lots of things

If you've ever played with him in person with the camera off this isn't surprising...first time I ever met him this is exactly how he was talking to a Rio staff employee cause he had to stand in a 10 person line to cash out his ticket after busting... each person took literally 90 seconds...you show them your ticket and they pay it out... and he went insane... dude has anger/ego issues

to see daniel this angry actually helps me alot. I get reminded that i wont start Online-Poker again. Its just not for me. The tempo of setup after setup after setup is just to much for me to handle. Live Poker is smooth and easily not so tiltable for me even tho I miss Online Poker.
I've been around online for over 18 years seen lots experience lots it seems online was kinda real in the old days before hole cards were accessed then black Friday since then its gone right down hill now you have pros one pro was with gg till they dropped him good thing ussing real time assistance this program is so scary it's like seeing hole cards the program can't even be detected if it's run another computer so covid hits us then kid poker is stuck online and I'm sure he already ready new what we experience but he got it first hand and didn't like it no kidding then has a rant about it just doesn't feel right an ambassador for poker and online and still has a contract is scary what power and money can do walk all over you throw it in your face and not a dam thing you can do about it gl on live tabbles the only way to play with no assuming as everyone is online its a legt game and no worries what who and what they need to use to win sad pros ussing programs pathetic doug use one heads up against kid poker my question is now his upswing book it tells you to use a program lol

Lol tbf Polk ran really damn good.. crazy amount of coolers. It’s one thing to hit a good hand but to have your opponent have something good enough to put all their money in is something entirely different.
So, I watched the heads up portion, where Daniel took Doug for 2.5 buy-ins (close to 160k give or take 10k in either direction), then like 20 or so of the 1st hands in the online session, but I'm having trouble finding the final overall outcome... I saw Daniel's WSOP vlog, where he was down 1.5 mil... is that all a result of the online session w/Doug? Good for Polk, but I gotta say, It's very impressive to see how he's gone on this recent hot-streak & turned it around. I believe now up over a mil again after (in total, not against doug) winnings. I think it was something like $3.5 mil for 1st in the super high rollers tourney. I see _sooo_ many people talking mad shit in the comments about Daniel, I guess because he voiced frustration & lost to Polk overall so now he sucks? 🤷🏼♂️ I mean, criticism is 1 thing, but shit like _"He was my hero, now I barely recognize him..."_ that some fool says In a comment is just... so unbelievably petty & unnecessarily harsh that it's exactly this kind of shit that serves no other purpose than to pile on, & ultimately over time make the (insert a profession) celebrity/player/athlete resent a large portion of their given community, & I honestly don't blame them. There've been many examples of valid reasons to hate some poker players & just as many examples where they've done something to warrant such a response, but to feel that strongly toward someone like Daniel, who is rarely anything other than pleasant & gracious, especially toward his fans, is now _so_ out of line, totally awful at playing a game that he's perpetually over a 20 year span, has & continues to accumulate accolades, titles, mile-stones all resulting in millions upon millions in winnings, because in this particular instance they didn't win or play exactly how you wanted them to, isn't something that warrants this kind of vitriol. Alls i'm saying is being disappointed in nor feeling disapproval towards something you don't like isn't an excuse to abandon any semblance of human decency.✌🏻😎

Daniel is so weird, I get such a fake vibe from him. Even here when he's ranting its like he's playing a persona of an angry person. It all seems so not real. I've met and played with the guy in real life at the wsop in 2019.... this is EXACTLY how he talked to a (female) Rio staff employee because he had to stand in 10-15 person line to cash out after busting..I was in that line and all of a sudden I hear "what the fuck is this stupid piece of shit mother fuckin line what the the fuck" I turned around ad it was Dnegs talking to a girl that was working the cashout line. Berating her saying "what am I some ordinary schmuck?" Each person took like 90 seconds to cash out.. you show your ticket they pay you...done. He was pissed he had to stand in this line and basically said he's above that and not an ordinary piece of shit like thr rest of us... after berating her with about 15 F words in 3 sentences he asks "what if I don't even want it now?" She said "sir, you have to, plz, otherwise you'll throw off our bank" he went into another mini rant on her with bunch of F bombs and just stood there waiting his turn.
So nah, this cussing and these bizzare outburst are not fake and he's really this unpleasant when the camera is off or not on him.. what is fake is the happy go lucky Mr friendly we saw on TV all these years.... it is creepy... I agree with you and he does come off as a a non-genuine person.. I think hes a bona-fide sociopath. But, this is justvmy opinion based off the experience I had with him and the way he conducted himself

***TRUTH*** Doug is a better heads up player and he should be but Daniel has improved quickly. If you were to balance out the all in EV and consider the bad beats the match would be pretty close. Doug would be up around 200k ish. Definitely been competitive.

I mean the first day shoves were bad imo, first one straight flush chasing with not even a pair or straight draw to fall back on, the last hand on session 4 was a horrible bad beat so i feel that one id be pissed, same with the one in session 6, but the other ones were loose shoves, the ones he won were the ones he shoulda outside of the 2 bad beats
nvrmind i didnt see the rest the spread sheet; he plays like a donk with his all-in's tbh. Having Top pair or an Overpair to a wet board isn't always the wisest time to shove on someone, especially online. Tighten up a bit in those spots or quit thinking any good starter hand is the nuts or some sh*t
