It's a long one but a good one. If you've watched our Roberto Escobar interview, you know that we like to learn the other side of political, historical, or cultural events when visiting a new place.
In this instance, we decided to learn more about Ireland's motivations, movements, and local experiences that led to its revolution and independence from England.
We were honored to interview Joe Austin, an advocate, and one of the pillars behind these revolutionary events in Belfast, Ireland.
Stay with us for more interviews like this.

Hi John, when I do these interviews i'm trying to give people a platform to share their views and to also give people insight into what really happened. Free from any media bias. In this case from Joe, I got the sense of a weary fighter who wanted to spread a message of peace. Instead of dwelling on the horrible past, he is trying to guide the future.
I do however feel responsible here as you have a right to be upset. Since this is YT, I have to use some sensational title and thumbnail to even have a chance of people seeing this. It is clear however that the content did not match the title. Would you or anyone you know who lived through these times, be interested/comfortable in sitting down for a interview similar to this? This way we can ensure the Irish people are able to voice their truth. Please reach out to us at contact@freepouringmedia.com.
