Rogue one will always be my favourite star wars movie. Clone Wars got me into it. Force awakens got me back into it but this one made me stay in it forever.
I dunno if anyone noticed how in 5:25, that Rebel sniper is using an E-11D that the death troopers use later in the film. That’s actually in the scene, just thought it was a cool detail
Also, STORMTROOPER ARMOR IS ACTUALLY STRONG! It is just because all of the heroes in the original trilogy use overpowered blasters that are actually illegal.
I almost feel sorry for Saw. He'd spent most of his entire life fighting wars, and against the Empire, it eventually drove him crazy. He became ruthless and brutal in his methods, using the same tactics the Empire used against him. He broke every rule of engagement for the sake of victory. He held no honor in combat, he just fought. Fought like a madman. And it ruined his body in the process. He knew the Empire was making something, a secret they intended to keep until it was completed. He spent so long searching for it, and by 0 BBY, IT had found HIM! After 2 decades of war, after years of searching, hoping to stop what the Empire was making, only for Saw to find out it was too little, too late. He went down as part of the first wave of victims to the Death Star. RIP Saw Gerrera.
One of my pet peeves about Stormtroopers in Star Wars is blaster bolts leaving marks on the armour. Most of the time they don't, but then sometimes they do. Also while Donnie Yen is pretty good as a blind martial artist in this film, I thought he did it better in John Wick: Chapter 4. Maybe he had more practice between films.

This is what I enjoy, the WAR in Star WARS. Legends was much worse with their brutality than this, but I appreciate Rouge One and it's execution of it. Also another great vid!

Honestly I don't get why people like rogue one... there's no danger throughout the whole film until they get killed by the deathstar at the end, literally they take out thousands of stormtroopers... with a blind guy! How they took over a galaxy is a mystery, even the death troopers get treated like crazy at the end, seriously this film makes me question what the point of stormtroopers and their armor is more than any other film. I wanted to see more of him fight like that since in real life he is an actor and martial artist that doesn't need masked body double. 4:27 I get what you meant but it's supposed to be an ambush so it wouldn't make sense if stormtrooper already gun them down that quickly. 6:40 The civilians and attackers are all wearing unique outfit running around. To us audience its obvious to know who is who but to the stormtroopers its not that easy to tell them apart
