It's been a while since the last time i got obsessed with a masterpiece like this, to me this movie it's no only about how hard life can be when you get lost in social dynamics meant for a system, we can incorporate this reality and through the voluntary acceptance of what your life is, you know how to improve it, because if you are okay, people around are okay too, when we allow ourselves to acknowledge our faults and virtues we can start to live a better in a more honest and even exciting life, a unique life, the life that you took for granted long time ago and forgot about it, now to welcome it again as an old friend with whom you can drink a couple beers.

Martin's (Mads Mikkelsen) and Anika's (Maria Bonnevie) home is actually situated in Vargön ("Wolf island") in Sweden and the fotboll field somewhere in the region as well. And I presume the lake also. The entire production was housed at Ronnum's Herrgård during the three-week recording period in Sweden.
