    Or did you forget to pull them up all the way?

    I actually think the TU250x is a very attractive bike for thieves. You're thinking about the black market but common thieves are way more common. It only weighs 328 lbs soaking wet. A child can walk away with your bike. Its a gorgeous bike according to most. Maybe I'm wrong, but we don't have that mindset as TUx owners in America. I would assume people steal motorcycles everywhere.

  • @jamesoren7238
    @jamesoren7238 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great review ... although way off on it being cheap. At least in Aussie it's fucking expensive as. I saw a lot of people recommending them, but at more money than a ninja 300, or 2+ groms they were dreaming. Here it's priced for hipsters basically.
    If it was grom money it'd be the best learner all day long, but pushing A$9k (seen some dealers looking for 10) in the current market for a 30 year old basic as bike is just insane. Buy it if you want a bonneville but are still on LAMS .. or pay not very much more at all for get a RE650 at the end of the day. It might be cheap after it's been ragged around by a few thousand learners, but it's certainly not from Suzuki.

    • @Tempcitz
      @Tempcitz  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Geeze that's rough new. They're quite a bit less on the second hand market though aren't they? Mutt Motorcycles have released a bike on the same platform that is scrambler style, under the 7k mark but is waaaay cooler

    How would you compare a dual sport like the honda crf250L compared to this bike for a first time rider? Irrespective of price.

    • @Tempcitz
      @Tempcitz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends what you wanted to do! If you want a road bike that can do a little offroad dirt/gravel tracks then this is cool, if you wanted to hit anything serious, you'll need an actual dual sport

    Cyclecruza riding around Cleveland Ohio half a world away gets a bit boring after a while.

    Looking at this bike as a first bike. I don’t understand the attitude here and from other reviews. It is not slow and it is not underpowered for it’s segment. Why would you compare it to other segments? It makes no sense. It makes no sense that someone on their Ps is giving a review as well. Please also, don’t swear and don’t try to be “cool.” Just be yourself and that is good enough.

    • @Tempcitz
      @Tempcitz  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is compared to other bikes that are learner approved. It's fine to say that it is powerful enough, which is true, but even compared to sportier 250s it can be quite sluggish, which is something quite a lot of people care about. Not everyone, but a lot

      @@Tempcitz Considering Ducati Monsters are learner approved (in NSW) then uh yeah lol. But no, for the Japanese commuter market it was designed for its totally adequate. I will never upgrade mine, people who have been riding for decades love the little TU for what it is...as it is said; "It is more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow"
