Yknow, from how ive played, near the end, i tend to use the lower path.
With the right movement the slopes provide a huge amount of speed.
Pair that with the bonus you get from skimming over the running water and you might have an argument for it actually being faster than taking a rather abrupt halt to shift up to what reasonably feels like a slower path.
Then again, i am no taser.
Just a thought i had, is all.

this is bad because angel island is designed for boostmentum not xmomentum.

but is it really a valid reason for the TAS to be bad? Because I decided to make a run with XMomentum instead? Instead of judging the run by solely looking at the addons used, maybe you should look and then judge the actual speedrun?
