Love these tips! The white boucle bomber jacket, the velvet mary janes, Chanel-esque jacket, and the 80s style gold disc earrings were great style incorporations to your wardrobe! Made me wanna take a look at my own wardrobe to see how else I can bring the old and new together to create my own unique style. To make the old new again. ✨️ I still have an old sage green silk bomber jacket in my wardrobe that is asking for more wear and have a black high-waist pleated midi skirt that trying to figure out how to incorporate into my wardrobe without looking overly dressy or conservative.

I donated my Mary-Jane shoes. I should have kept them, but oh well! I love the bomber jacket. The only metallic pieces I would choose are loafers and/or mixing jewelry pieces. Great video, Lydia.
You can do the metallic trend easily with satin shirts tops skirts trousers and its a very classy way of doing it and will be able to wear those for years to come
The cream color looks great on you.🥰 However, bomber jackets do add bulk to the mid section. So when we’re not posing w/ our hand on our hip (to accentuate our waist), it can overwhelm the body.

I found a local Spanish jewelry brand that makes some great affordable pieces! They're called NUNU Barcelona. Bought these statement orchid earrings that def channel the 80s vibe without being...well, 80s lol
You could buy the clip on version of the earring, and then change out the backs to regular pierced ones by removing clip on and gluing (with jewelry glue) earring posting on back. You can get earring posts so cheap.

I think the black socks ruined the metallic look trousers a slight lurex sock would have been more complimentary. Loved all of the other looks.

Also don’t sell the cropped jacket. It has returned again and again with it now being a classic. Style classics with a small trend works best.

The reason so many of the '80's earrings were clip on is because they were heavy, and would really have been too heavy to be worn pierced.
