Thank you SO much! I’m trying to build one of these but I want to add a deadbolt lock. I know that sounds silly, but we were robbed and the screen door only had a latch lock. The just pulled it hard and broke it to enter our sunroom. They stole my saw and many tools. The police said if I had a real lock on the screen door it would be categorized as breaking and entering, which would have upped the charge to where they would seek out the people to arrest them. Because I only had a latch lock. It wasn’t considered a main part of my house so they didn’t seek to find the people. The police suggested that even though it’s a screen door, I put a real lock on it that way they can do moreso that’s what I’m trying to do now. Thank you so much for the video.
Only thing I had a question about was the gap on the right side of the door when the door was closed, ( opposite the hinges). How did you deal with that part?
Great observation and that was left on purpose, I used a strip of lumber to create a stop for the door so the door can not be overextended and damage the hinges,

Good luck friend!
The first thing I see is that the header should be place on TOP of the jambs.
Why? This is not structural there is no reason to do that
Great job 👍
Thank you sir

Where is a screen?
We have not screened the porch yet, one step at a time!
Please don't prosecute me. I am stealing some of your ideas.
