Ironfist is the easiest layup of a character ever, you literally watch any martial arts movie ever and thats your character. How you make a cheap inexpensive ironfist show is just by making bloodsport, mortal kombat, or even fist of the dragon. He has to fight in a tournament and came to new york to do so and the tournament decides the fate of something important, and as the show goes on Danny the naïve kid at heart young protagonist is seeing all the pain and corruption going on in the city and wants to help, so instead of going back in the end to the peaceful kun lun he says in new york as iron fist, and his mask is literally explained to be a reminder of kun lun. The character of iron fist is literally just Goku, he is good at heart kind of a child and loves to practice martial arts he beats up bad guys gets beat down alot and has a crazy powerup in the end to win thats all we need. The problem with the show is they wrote it like Daredevil, everyone also is so insane in the show and their emotions do a 180 flip all the time, his best friend goes from being jealous to plotting to kill him, his sister like women who so desperately wanted him back just randomly wants to kill him all the sudden everything is just insane.
